Stunning apartment in a beautiful bay. Totally isolated, peaceful and super relaxing. My partner and I had a lovely two days here unwinding and slowing down. Nikolina the host is extremely hospitable and lovely, going out of her way to give us lifts to dinner in the village because we were left without transport last minute (more below). Nikolina’s parents also cooked us a lovely meal at the apartment on our last night with the most amazing wine that her father grows.

This house was gorgeous. The house was light and spacious and very tastefully decorated. There was air conditioning which was a bonus as the weather was very hot. The kitchen was well equipped, including a washer/dryer. The house was easy to access by foot from the ferry.
There were grocery shops close by, restaurants and cafes all very close by.
There are a couple of bars and restaurants close by that are really lovely and have great sea views.
There are some beach areas close by to the house which were ok but we chose to walk to the beach the other side of the town which was near the church which has plenty of shade, a park and a beach bar close by.
Vis was a lovely peaceful island, fairly unspoilt by tourism. It did seem a little expensive and I think this is partly due to the fact that there seems to be lots of yachts sailing to the island and staying.
Admirable island. The nature is saved, a lot of greenery, the water is warm, I was sorry that I couldn't take camera while swimming because the view is wonderful wherever you turn your eyes.
And I think that is enough to say that I met a couple who came to Vis for twenty third time.

A perfect little sized island with a lot of small intresting excursions along the coastline. Very beautiful day and night. Impressive marina, good choices of restaurants. And of course a little bit famed from the 2nd Mama Mia-film, filmed here.

Vis is beautiful city, weather for enjoying days on the beach or walking along the seaside. It has museum with an exhibition of amphorae and history of Vis (starting at 400 years b.C. There is a cinema too. The restaurants are from simply to classy. You can tell this city has past and culture. The smell of pine trees and the crickets makes it all real Mediterranean. We enjoyed ten days here :-)

Wonderful island.
Wonderful island. Beautiful nature, lots of small natural beaches, astonishing mountain views, atmosphere and architecture of old towns and villages. We loved local cuisine. We were on Vis in second half of June out of main season and during coronavirus restrictions. So the beaches were almost empty. I assume during peak season in July and August the island may be quite too crowded.

We visited Vis in the end of October.
We visited Vis in the end of October. The weather was ok, about 20°C air, 20°C sea, a bit of rain, but mostly sunny. We really enjoyed our visit in that time because of almost no other turists. Most of restaurants and other "turist attractions" were closed, but we got what we needed. Less people made our hollidays very relaxing, we enjoyed beaches just for us. If you don´t like hot weather and crowds, it´s good choice. Vis is enought big to spend there one week, probably not more if you want to visit something special/different everyday.
Very clean, super location near the ferry landing. Just a few steps off the main waterfront.
Strong air conditioning - needed in August.
We were on the 3rd floor so a bit of stairs to the room.
The owner/manager was on the 3rd floor too. Very nice and friendly gentleman. They offer beach towels if you venture a dip in the Adriatic.
Very reasonable prices, one third of Split.
Ferry times are limited to Vis so plan ahead. The fast catamaran only departs Vis at 7am. Don’t be late as they depart at 7am sharp.
The property is located on top of a hill with a spectacular view of Vis. There is a small pool which is very nice to have after a hot day in town. The room had a small balcony which was useful to let our swimsuits and towels to dry. It is very modern and renovated. It has great taste and details. The breakfast is served in the terrace overlooking the town. The owners have been very kind and welcoming. He even drove us back to the Ferry early morning at 7:00 am! We really recommend our stay in Belle Vue.
The place is 5 minutes from Vis ferry port. The check in communication was excellent and during our 2 nights stay. Slada met us in front of the building and have us check in quickly. She was very nice and gave us late check out when our original ferry was canceled on departure day. The room was basic and clean, it was all we needed but the internet and tv was slow in our room. No kettle or coffee maker in the room. The mini fridge was loud when it kicked on. I would stay here again.
My friend and I had a wonderful stay. The view is absolutely gorgeous from the balcony, and the location is very convenient, a couple minutes walking to Kut center, maybe 10 minutes to Vis and 20 to the ferry. The family that owns the apartment is very friendly and welcoming and they live right there so they can help if you ever have a problem or question. There is hot water and wifi, à washing machine, etc. I hope to come back!
The Villa Vis is perfectly located in the harbor of Kut, surrounded by excellent restaurants and shops (including both a grocery store and a bakery) and an easy 20 minute walk from the ferry. A lovely house, on a quiet and beautiful street. Tatjana is just the perfect host — warm and welcoming — and the spectacular feasts she prepares for each individual guest are the best I have had any B&B I have ever stayed at.
We loved our stay at Villa Vis. Our hosts Tatjana and Alan were very welcoming, hospitable, warm and helpful ❤️ The breakfast was delicious and freshly made by Tatjana.
Our room was cosy and clean, the aircondition worked well. The soundproof between rooms could have been better, but it we did not really mind. The place was peaceful.
Fantastic location and apartment, it was a home away from home. Monika was an A+ host, couldn't have been more helpful and informative about the island and potential activities. This was one of the best hotel experiences I've had in recent years. Can't recommend this apartment enough, if you're going to Vi's, book here!
Excellent stay for 6 nights. Really enjoyable. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and the restaurant was excellent. Hotel is a little set back from the harbour which means the view isn't of the sea but it means it is a bit quieter when the yacht's are in the harbour.
Great location in the Kut, beautiful view from the window to city of Vis and wonderful host. The apartment has everything you need. It was clean and comfy. Market and bakery in close proximity and lots of restaurants and cafes. Free parking next to the apartment.
Very comfortable, beaches just around the corner, peaceful and clean. Garden terraces are just beautiful. Host is kind and friendly person. It's truly unique place to sink in into Island Vis
Thank you for everything
The location of the apartment is so convenient - right in the center of Vis! the apartment was well stocked - excellent coffee and water for us. It was clean and comfortable - plenty of space!
Since the negative reviews they have clearly renovated the room and kitchenette, as well as ensured the cleanliness levels are better. The bed is comfy and the kitchen area is new and modern.
Great hotel room on the most central location possible (5min walk from the ferry drop-off and 2 min walk to promenade). Super friendly staff and spacious and clean room.
Apartment is large, clean, and an excellent value. Location in the Kut area of Vis was great for restaurants and peace and quiet. Recommend renting a bike to get around.
After reading all reviews we expected much more. The good thing was the location - close to the ferry and city center, but quiet. Also the bed was quite comfortable.
