Our room was spacious, with a lounge area, bedroom area, and fantastic city views—on-point decor, an upmarket bathroom, very comfy bed. The staff were exceptional, accommodating, and friendly. Facilities at the hotel included an infinity pool, a well-equipped gym, a spa, and free washing machines and dryers. The restaurant served a full buffet breakfast. At the end of the day, two for one cocktails were on offer.. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend.

Cambodia's Colourful Capital

Cambodia has successfully dusted itself off from the ravages of war with its colourful capital of Phnom Penh rising from the ashes and sparkling once more. This fascinating city, on the banks of the Mekong River, features exotic markets, cultural jewels and is home to some of the friendliest people on earth.

A visit to the National Museum captures a slice of Cambodia’s ancient Khmer history and art. A different and more recent history suffocates and overwhelms visitors to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, the former prison of the Khmer Rouge, and The Killing Fields are a short drive from the capital.

The Royal Palace is a striking centrepiece in the centre of Phnom Penh, and is home to the Emerald Buddha and Silver Pagoda. Not far away is the Cambodian Independence Monument that celebrates Cambodia’s sovereignty.

You can satisfy your hunger pains with delicious French-Indochina-inspired meals at various street stalls or classy restaurants. The riverside area has the Art Deco Central Market for a great bargain and there are a variety of bars, especially near Sisowath Quay.

    It's a nice enough city, a bit busy with motorbikes and tuk-tuks. Airline agencies were a bit difficult to locate, to phone, to even open the doors! MY biggest surprise was the quantity of plastics thrown into fields and drains out of town. Little wonder that the sea is becoming polluted! The Royal Palace and gardens are quite a place to see.

The staff are ver courteous and helpful I found it vey hard to fault this hotel and I can assure you I normally will find something wrong but on this occasion I honestly must say Faultless in my opinion and I have no Heston rebooking this hotel on my next trip to Phnom Penh

    We really enjoyed our trip to Phnom Penh, we traveled as a family of 6 and had a wonderful local tuk-tuk driver that managed to fit us all in lol that was truly an experience!! He took us to many places and we were able to experience Phnom Penh in a way we didn't expect which was amazing. We stayed at the Peninsula Phnom Penh which was great value for money and a beautiful place to come back to at the end of the day. The rooftop pool was fantastic and live music was a wonderful bonus.

    A great short stay hotel right in the middle of the city. The hotel has everything you need, centralized location, friendly staff, comfy bed, good air-conditioning and free of charge breakfast. A plus point for me is their decoration, i like how they incorporated khmer tradition into their room and public area decoration.     We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Hotel Zing in Phnom Penh and this was our first hotel on our Cambodia trip. We were so pleasantly surprised by how great the location was. We had a wonderful east sunrise facing window room that looked out over the Central Market. Plus it was so close to the Riverside and all the other markets as well. Lovely super helpful friendly staff. Very comfortable clean rooms with awesome beds.

    Great location! Near to the riverside. We were fortunate to stay here while the water festival was going on. The hotel was very close to all the festival's happenings.     I was very impressed with personalize check in. Speedy check in with the host greeted us personally at the entrance of the building unlike transitional old hotel check in.
