The location was absolutely stunning with a walk of only a few metres to a beautiful tropical beach. Lovely sunbeds with shady areas if needed. Quiet and secluded. Good places to buy groceries and to eat.

Good places to buy groceries and to eat. Limited bus and boat service could leave you stranded. great ice cream shop. Stay for a couple of days and then head to Hopkins for a superior beach experience..went snorkelling on the Marine reserve and was disappointed as there weren't many fish to see.

We stayed at Itz'Ana on Placencia about 15 minutes north of the village. Itz'Ana was a beautiful place, with gorgeous infinity pool overlooking very nice beach. Our room opened onto the pool deck with a good sized patio with a comfortable daybed outside. Plenty of shade, great breezes. The staff was great. Placencia Village itself has some good restaurants and good grocery stores for provisioning but not much else. Taxi service was good and prices good, but best to ask in advance, "How much will it be to take two people to Rick's restaurant". You'll get a straight answer. A lot of people rented golf carts to get around, and that might have been nice--but none available at our resort.

    People are wonderful.

People are wonderful. Restaurants are fabulous cute little beach bars, always having entertainment and specials, I’ve never met more friendlier people, the sidewalk with all the little shops was a lot of fun, and you get to know the people along the way, a word of advice check beach conditions before travelling as it was, horrible, full of garbage and trash, from the ocean it just had not been cleaned up yet, and there was so much of it, it’s not always like that they had quite a few storms, but still ?

We like the beach and the local food like the Johnny cakes and fry jacks . When we were there it was very quiet just perfect for relaxation One thing there isn’t snorkelling right from the beach you have to take a tour and if so do shop around

    The village is very small.

The village is very small. It advertises white, sandy beaches, but does not mention the seaweed that is all along the coastline. I feel it is important for travelers to know that the magic is in the excursions to the little islands like Laughing Bird Caye. There are many good restaurants, but food variety is limited due to the remote location. There is an ice cream shop that is exceptional! It is fun and relaxing to stay in Placencia.

We were picked up from the airport which is fantastic and driven the two miles or so to the hotel. This meant it was easy to find. The hotel is on the beach front but our rooms were not beach facing. The rooms had big bathrooms and aircon, as well as a safe for valuables. They also had a fridge for drinks. The location is good, about a 5 mins walk along the shorefront to the centre of Placencia. Use of the bikes and kyakes was a bonus. An onsite bar is a great meeting place,. Easy access to the sea. Felt really safe.

Nice little beach hut with a 1 min walk to the private picture perfect beach. Lovely location which is what the place is all about. Clean and tidy and a no fuss approach to booking in and out. We had a very relaxing few days. The accommodation is functional and as described. Located a short drive from the main Placencia Village where there are plenty of nice places to eat and drink. We particularly liked Cha Chi's, amazing cocktails and Pizza's with 3-6 happy hour too.

Property is beautiful. Beach is stunning and pool area is wonderful the whole set up of common areas is very aesthetically pleasing and makes you want to stay in the hotel to relax and enjoy the view. Pizzas were top notch and the Luna cocktail is very special. A lot of staff were really kind and helpful. Free yoga classes very generous and a wonderful experience. Movie on the beach under moonlight was a lovely setting and also great to have for free.

Beautiful casita, outdoor area, pool, continental breakfast. The staff here are absolutely the best! Everyone so welcoming and kind, felt cared for and appreciated. Small pool but the swimup bar was great! Love the privacy here at CBC, it’s someplace I hope to always return back to when in Placencia. Right off the sidewalk, smack on the beach & minutes away from fantastic food.

Clean, bright room, with seaside decor. Amazing shower- hot and great water pressure! The restaurant is reasonably priced and excellent food. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Right on the beach, private dock and bar on the water. We really enjoyed riding the free bikes and enjoying a morning paddle on the free kayaks. Very chill vibe, would definitely return!

This is our second stay at the Sea View Suites. We love it here. Right on the beach and comfy rooms. The water pressure in the shower is amazing!!! The small kitchenette is nice, we could make our own coffee every morning, store cold drinks in the fridge, and make little meals on the hot plate. Also, we never heard other people unless they were in the hall.
