Nadi is a local town and not all tourists. There are many shops and you can usually find supplies for drinks, snacks, souvenirs, clothing, towels, bags, shoes etc etc
In addition to this there is a local cafe on the top floor of the mall building at the north end of the main street that has the best food in Fiji. Very un assuming but holy moly, best dosa I have eaten!
Craft market has pushy sellers. This is never unexpected though in this setting. Fruit market is quite an interesting walk.

Spent our time between the two Hiltons and rented a car to explore Fiji.
We were lucky with the weather and found everyone very polite and helpful.
Taxis were/are a good choice and make sure you ask someone what the cost should be as I was able to reduce the cost by half by knowing what the suggested rate was vs what they asked, it only happened once as the other drivers were all very realistic.
Having a kitchen in one of our rooms was helpful and allowed us to set our own schedule to match our times and cost.

Nadi should only be considered as a transit stop or somewhere where you might stay for a day or two before going to other parts of Fiji. If you don't want to go far from Nadi then consider a stay at Denerau which is 20 minutes away and a has a marina for access to the islands and outdoor activities. Denerau is more of a resort location.

Don't stay at this place.
Don't stay at this place. Took my jewelry while going to swimming pool. Checked out next morning to go to another destination and realized my jewelry was missing. My bad but at the same wasn't expected that. No lockers in the rooms. No privacy. You simply get what you pay for. Did make a phone call but still waiting for a call back and it's more than 2 months

We were there for a week.
We were there for a week. Hired a car to go around Fiji main island. One -two days are good enough for Nadi. Suva and Lautoka are the main two big cities in Fiji. Both the cities are well connected to Nadi with AC buses. Lautoka is an hour away. It takes 3-3.5 hours to reach Suva.
In Suva one must visit Fiji Museum and President's Palace guard. Nice waterfront to spend an evening.
Rakiraki has a few nice resorts. Most of them offer great water activities.
All islands are well connected with Nadi via ferry and flight. Prior booking is highly recommended.
As always in Fiji the staff were amazing and went out of their way to accommodate us in every way.
This is a new resort 10 minutes drive to Nadi Airport. It is a welcome introduction to Nadi compared to the other airport hotels. So is perfect if you need to stay in Nadi before or after heading out to the islands.
The resort is very large, with a grand entrance/foyer similar to other resorts at Denau, and a large swimming pool complex.
We had a suite that faced the sea for our family of 5, the room was spacious.
Property is in a quite location so noise is not an issue anytime of the day. Other resorts are a 30min walk down the beach so you had a variety of good food and there is also a supermarket called True mart 300meters behind Smugglers Cove Beach Resort. True mart also sell alcohol - beer and other mixed drinks are cheap, but bottles of spirits are extremely expensive so it pays to bring your Duty Free. To get back to Club Fiji pay a driver $10 Fiji money.
The staff were absolutely amazing! Each learnt my name and made me feel so welcome! As a solo traveller, this was so lovely. They were welcoming, attentive, friendly and very helpful. The best customer service I received in Fiji & I spent time in several hotels/resorts in both Nadi and Suva.
The two pools were clean, and amazing to cool down in. The food was delicious. Considering they were only just opening up after Covid, it was a great experience.
One of the highlights of my experience was the rooftop bar. The panoramic views of the surrounding area was great, especially during sunset. The attentive staff made sure that I had everything I needed. In terms of location, Nalagi Hotel is conveniently located close to Nadi Town and a short distance from the Airport. There is a seafood reastauarant downstairs ( i cant tell if its part of the hotel or not), but the food there was excellent.
We went into with our NZD to the hotel cause it was our first time in Fiji. We try to make payment but they did not accept overseas cash only Visa card. We came into a conclusion of understanding they can hold on to our nz $100 and we can excachange the money the next day and make payment when everything open. They were so kind and even updated us about pick up service shuttle was very handy.
Very accommodating and helpful with our cycling group. We stayed 3 times during our 2 weeks in Fiji. They arranged shuttles for us & our bikes & we were willing to store our extra gear as we cycled around the island. Great restaurant with nightly entertainment on site. Perfect beachfront location
It was the best experience I could have in Fiji!!! Save picked me up at the airport, received me in his house, took me to Nadi, organized all my holidays in the islands! He and his family made me feel at home! I loved so much!!!
Thanks save for making my Fiji experience so authentic and amazing!!!
Bula! It is a nice hotel not far away from the centre and airport. I went to Nadi for 2 days to celebrate my birthday. Amazing staffing gave me the opportunity to check in early because I was very tired. The room was clean and I also had free tea and coffee.
Thank you so much again
Decent sized pool which is great after getting off the plane. The food at the restaurant was really good. Would highly recommend the Fijian curry. The hotel was better than we were expecting despite being right next to the airport and a busy road.
close to the airport for a 1 night stay before a 20 min transfer to Port Denarau for departure to Mamanuca islands. Convenient as Entry Fiji RAT test could be done at hotel.
Harder than expected to find but it was friendly and perfectly adequate. Good value. Advise taking a taxi instead of walking to the airport - 10 Fijian dollars.
Everyone was very friendly. The Fijian staff were naturally friendly and smiling, it seemed by nature, and it was a delight to run into smiles every day.
The room were clean, very comfortable. The swimming pool was clean. The staffs were very nice. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Nadi.
