Beautiful town but unfortunately we were only there for one night. If you want to see the Penguins then this is the spot. Lovely harbour and plenty of restaurants as well. Lovely beach and safe area

We love Simonstown. It is so quaint and picturesque. We love the historical buildings and the friendliness of the people. It is a wonderful tourist destination as Cape Point is nearby as well as Boulders Beach with the famous penquins. Stunning views over the bay with the pretty yachts to view.

Simon's Town is the perfect place to go to, to not be in the city, to relax and to unwind.
Boulder Beach was an exciting experience, and we truly enjoyed it.
We ate at Fran's Place on the Waterfront, and had the most delicious Seafood Platter.
The food at Willets Hotel is just as amazing!
In Sea Point, Cape Town itself, it feels unsafe to sit on the Beach for too long, but in Simon's Town we stayed on Long Beach until sunset.
It was a calming few days. Wished we could have stayed longer.

A little noisy late evening and early morning due to comings and goings with deliveries etc.

If you are looking for a peaceful place to entertain younger kids without the big commercial rush of the bigger more popular areas in Cape Town, I recommend Simons Town. So much to do with younger kids who enjoy the outdoors without the rush of a lot of people around you.
Hosts were amazing! Belinda become our mum away from home - always looking after us in the form of freshly baked cookies, occasional chocolate drop off's and constant updates about everything going on in the area.. This Greek Mommy has all the best restaurant spots (obviously) so do not hesitate to ask her opinion on things - You can tell she loves and cares for her guests and will go out of her way to ensure they have a memorable stay. :) Would recommend this spot to anyone visiting Simons Town - You won't be disappointed.
Liesal and Peter are absolutely wonderful hosts . The room and the property is absolutely stunning ,the views from the balcony are breathtaking and the staff is wonderful and warm .
The overall stay was one of the best for me , because Liesal had a thorough insights and recommendations about access , transport , food options , what to explore etc .
I had a very comfortable stay and really felt like home despite being a first time traveller to Cape town . Thanks a lot you guys :)
The hosts, Lizette and Tom are the most welcoming and lovely people. There were flowers and chocolate waiting for me in the room, which was well-equipped with a kettle, microwave oven etc. The setting is very pretty and location ideal = penguins are within walking distance!
I'm very glad I decided to choose this place as a starting point of my Southern African exploration. I think it was much better to come here instead of going directly to Cape Town's hustle and bustle.
The staff at Tintswalo Boulders were very attentive and we appreciated the explanations given. My husband said the omelet for breakfast was the best he ever had. I particularly liked that it feels like a (guest) house that feels cozy and intimate. You can't ask for a better location at Boulders with stunning views of False Bay. A great feature is the ability to access the boardwalks for a late afternoon/or early morning walk to see the penguins.
The location was great - we really liked staying just outside of Simon's Town. It was a nice and more relaxing break than staying in Cape Town. The unit is very cute and we felt at home. We were able to visit the penguins just a couple of miles away several times and also an easy drive to Cape of Good Hope. The view is beautiful and the breakfast was good, the hosts were welcoming.
Everything was exceptional! We enjoyed our stay and will recommend Roman Rock Apartments to anyone and everyone. The beauty of the views from the rooms and balcony is fantastic. I want to thank the hosts that made our stay wonderful and best of wishes for them. Thank you for your friendliness.
First of all the staff hospitality was remarkable, especially the owner who came to check on our needs and comfort. Amazing front place to relax and read with the best view of the horizon. Breakfast was the best we had during the whole trip! Food was prepared fresh and in tune to our liking.
Loved our stay at Boat House!
Beautiful location and the most relaxing morning view to wake up to.
The room was high class yet cozy, and the breakfast was the best we had in South Africa!
The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and shared some good tips.
We definitely recommend!
Ruhshana was absolutely delightful, she couldn't do enough for us. The hotel was in a great location in a beautifully interesting town. Everything about the short break was perfect for us. Thank you and good luck, Ruhshana you deserve better in life.
The hotel was beautiful and comfortable. The hostess Emmy was fantastic and welcoming and just a beautiful person on the whole. The barman and waitress and cleaning staff were professional and polite and just amazing. We can't wait to visit again.
Beautiful view. Nice place to stay..the village Simons Town is nice aswell...Cape Town very close and possible to drive home during nighttime. Safe place..and Heather is a great host. She is very kind and helpful.
Tremendous hotel. Great hosts , amazing views, great breakfasts and excellent location for Simon’s Town. Best hotel
