Beautiful town but unfortunately we were only there for one night. If you want to see the Penguins then this is the spot. Lovely harbour and plenty of restaurants as well. Lovely beach and safe area

We love Simonstown. It is so quaint and picturesque. We love the historical buildings and the friendliness of the people. It is a wonderful tourist destination as Cape Point is nearby as well as Boulders Beach with the famous penquins. Stunning views over the bay with the pretty yachts to view.

We had an amazing stay. Sandy was always available when needed. Talita and Johan welcomed us and familiarised us with the property and surrounding areas. Everything that we needed was provided. Thanks for the bottle of wine. We thoroughly enjoyed it

Simon's Town is the perfect place to go to, to not be in the city, to relax and to unwind.
Boulder Beach was an exciting experience, and we truly enjoyed it.
We ate at Fran's Place on the Waterfront, and had the most delicious Seafood Platter.
The food at Willets Hotel is just as amazing!
In Sea Point, Cape Town itself, it feels unsafe to sit on the Beach for too long, but in Simon's Town we stayed on Long Beach until sunset.
It was a calming few days. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Lovely locals and felt very safe here. Fantastic spot for shopping and earthing and drinking. Drive to Cape Point and surrounding coast is amazing.
A little noisy late evening and early morning due to comings and goings with deliveries etc.

If you are looking for a peaceful place to entertain younger kids without the big commercial rush of the bigger more popular areas in Cape Town, I recommend Simons Town. So much to do with younger kids who enjoy the outdoors without the rush of a lot of people around you.
Hosts were amazing! Belinda become our mum away from home - always looking after us in the form of freshly baked cookies, occasional chocolate drop off's and constant updates about everything going on in the area.. This Greek Mommy has all the best restaurant spots (obviously) so do not hesitate to ask her opinion on things - You can tell she loves and cares for her guests and will go out of her way to ensure they have a memorable stay. :) Would recommend this spot to anyone visiting Simons Town - You won't be disappointed.
I read the booking user ratings, and said to myself, it's a bit much to be truth =).. But all of it was so true.. we enjoyed the staing in this property very much! <3 Hosts were very kind to us and there was not a single thing that i could say it went wrong in there.. thank you once more for everything.. Much recomended.. nice location.. quiet neighbrhood.. we stayed in more houses on our roadtrip through south Africa, all of them was great.. mybe we are yust lucky, but this was our favourite and best spot & accomodation..
The hosts, Lizette and Tom are the most welcoming and lovely people. There were flowers and chocolate waiting for me in the room, which was well-equipped with a kettle, microwave oven etc. The setting is very pretty and location ideal = penguins are within walking distance!
I'm very glad I decided to choose this place as a starting point of my Southern African exploration. I think it was much better to come here instead of going directly to Cape Town's hustle and bustle.
The staff at Tintswalo Boulders were very attentive and we appreciated the explanations given. My husband said the omelet for breakfast was the best he ever had. I particularly liked that it feels like a (guest) house that feels cozy and intimate. You can't ask for a better location at Boulders with stunning views of False Bay. A great feature is the ability to access the boardwalks for a late afternoon/or early morning walk to see the penguins.
Position A1. Great stay, great people. Comfortable and very clean.
The apartment was not 5 star, but was just as shown on this app and very good value for money.
We will be back to enjoy what Bolders Beach Hotel has to offer. Our stay there to see the ocean sunrise and the penguins starting their day, was the highlight of our Cape Town trip.
Watercolours Studio was one of my best stays ever on the Peninsula. Starting with the best host, Sharon makes you feel at home immediately. The location s perfect with incredible views, all facilities, decor and extra touches makes it 5 star in my books.
This would be my first choice of accommodation in this area in the future.
A perfect location out of the hustle bustle of the Cape Town suburbs. A friendly welcome and throughout our stay from the staff. The fruit/muesli yogurt and cooked breakfast was delicious.
We were lucky to have great weather, so watched a lovely sunrise every morning either from the balcony or the nearby rocks along the coast.
It feels like you’re stepping back in time for a day or two. The older design and interior is so charming. Location itself is great, and it’s close to various restaurants and coffee shops.
Shami and the other staff members were so helpful and friendly - you guys are a great addition to the hotel!
I loved it so much that I cancelled the last leg of my trip and stayed 2 more nights immediately felt like I was home. I spend over 200 nights a year in a hotel and this hotel and ALL of the staff are the best I have seen. Thank You.
Lovely hosts, thorough communication. The area was lovely and it was such a beautiful view of Simon's Town. It is amazing on top of the mountain. The view is the best part. In the heart of nature. Had a great stay.
Tremendous hotel. Great hosts , amazing views, great breakfasts and excellent location for Simon’s Town. Best hotel
I have stayed in with individual service and helpful, friendly hosts.
The location is good & it will be best if you can offer breakfast. other than that everything is fine.
service is the best. View is nice and it is well located and family friendly
I spent 4 days at the property and it is absolutely lovely!! 10 of 10!! Zu is an amazing host and I can wait to be back there, definitely the best choice!!!!
