Beautiful relaxing hotel in the very north of the island.
We really enjoyed the relaxing courtyard, delicious dinners, fresh breakfasts and afternoon tea with cake.
There is a small but very nice hammam you can book.
The service is great, very accomodating and attentive.

A place with potential, however the position with two shabby and dirty buildings in front of the nice sea view isn’t great. Rooms are ok however needs to be maintained as the joints in the bathrooms are dirty. Didn’t like the two levels with stairs in the room, TV is outdated and the beds too hard. Too much noise from the rooftop bar and very loud music at night. The best asset are the staff, chef and service staff very nice and helpful.
Offering an outdoor pool and a garden restaurant with bar, Guest House et Restaurant Sous le Badamier is located in Pointe Aux Canonniers. Moint Choisy Beach is a 5-minute drive away.

Overall a good hotel but there are some key features they need to improve on.
1, The price on some items are way out there like their taxi booking, booking.com offer 25 euro and from them its 60 euro. we can understand maybe 20-30% topup but not 120%. its not about the amount but as matter of principal. also their private fishing tour cost 28000 their own money which around 2200 dirham or 600 dollars. the reason as per them is the fuel cost and i we understand the fuel cost is a bit high but it felt a bit to high for some hours of fishing. on the other hand they did have a 30min free shallow fishing for small fishes.
2, The Beds and sheets where an absolute disaster, for a hotel on this caliber we could not understand how they have not managed to buy some proper bed mattress and sheets, it was almost impossible to sleep, the bed mattress had totally lost its shape and were bend in the middle so we woke up multiple tiles during night and the sheets were of the cheapest quality and where making sound when we moved around.
3, the Pool was one of the best pools i have seen in any hotel, seating around the pool with bed in the water.
4, the personal were really nice and polite.
5, the hotel location is good and relaxing
6, they had some free water actives like snorkeling, shallow fishing, kayaking, etc
Overall a good hotel but have space to improve.

Grand Baie is a fabulous area of Mauritius on the North coast of the island. Beach is beautiful, lots of street food, bars, restaurants to choose from.
Supermarkets, shops and malls all a short walking distance.
Plenty of day trips such as catamaran trips, glass bottom boats that leave from Grand Baie and if you fancy a little bit of extreme adventure then 20 mins away you can go sky diving and experience something out of this world with beautiful views of the island

Grand Baie is beautiful, so easy to get to shops, restuarants and beaches. Very busy though, and drivers tend to speed on the roads, and there is almost no pavement for walking in many places so please be carefil when walking along the road. Beaches are truly beautiful. We were able to easily get to restaurants and the food was really great -Toparadis served great food and we got our food very quickly, the cocktails here were very good; the most amazing food was at Ocean V, Rooftop restaurant, the staff were amazing, friendly and so welcoming and the view was unlike any other I had seen in Mauritius. You can also try the street food, it really is so safe and good. We took a boat cruise from Grand Baie to Gabrielle island and it was amazing, though not for the sensitive, as boat tends to rock quite a bit when the wind picks up- saw lots of flying fish and dolphins! Overall we had an amazing boat cruise on the Coral Princess with superb hosts, Kevin, Pascal, Carelle etc. Lunch was served on the boat when we got back. Lots of taxis and buses, though not so much on weekday nights, and lots during Thursday to Sunday day and nights.
I suggest using cash at the little stores if possible as there seemed to be a connectivity problem at at least 2 stores where I was charged for the purchase but they said the txn did not go through, and at one shop the lady was quite rude -keep your purchase slips as proof, or take a pic of the "card not supported message". Be prepared for the price of items to be increased the moment you speak another language (other than creole). Always negotiate at the markets!

Beautiful area with a lot to do.
Beautiful area with a lot to do. Many local shops around, with the Super U Mall within walking distance.
The roads are very narrow with hardly any space for pedestrians to walk. Renting of cars is impossible if planning a spontaneous trip, but there are local shops renting out bicycles and scooters.
As I’d stay at Veranda Hotel GB and enjoyed previous visits apres Covid20 taking consideration these factors and knowing that the Veranda had undergone renovations I was disappointed, the welcome warm but little else to recommend about my Christmas stay could see slight improvement in catering standards and the breakfast was pleasant when I was showed to room my heart sank not the size or quantity I was expecting taking into consideration the cost of a three night stay. Seemed to get the only room left very disappointing. Tom
It was a charming discovery for us. The place is ideally situated not far from Grand Bay beach, supermarket and other main facilities are at walking distance.
We were amazed by the welcome by Vanessa and David. Exceptional welcome making you feel at ease immediately. We like this feeling of being welcomed and the warmth throughout the stay. The place, the people, the calmness of the place was just amazing. There is nothing we did not like about LE BINOME and we will certainly book again.
Room was exceptionally clean. Front of house staff (Jabir) and housekeeping staff were warm, friendly and helpful.
The stay is located inside a complex like building, gated, with other neighbouring rooms. This made it feel safe and vibrant at the same time. Dodo square is located directly on the main road in Grand Baie, the beach and all restaurants on its doorstep.
We were sad to leave this place as it ticked all boxes.
The service there is wonderful. One of the bartender, Mr. Leck, he is very kind and talkative:) we have been familiar with each other soonly hahaha. The equipments and environment are fabulous. You can get everything you want in the hotel. The room even had kitchen and washing machine. And also good AC as the temperature of Mauritius is around 30 all the time.
The location is fantastic, in a quiet location less than 10 minutes walk from both the beach and many bars, restaurants and a huge supermarket. Great pool area with a few sunbeds and a well equipped apartment for an enjoyable stay. A few small issues on arival that were quickly rectified and I would have no hesitaion in booking again should I visit Mauritius
The property was very nice. Everything was very clean. The owner was very welcoming and kind! Service was exceptional. Easy communication with the owner. Villa is exactly like the pictures, even more beautiful in person! The location is nice and a very quiet and peaceful area. Will definitely come again next time I’m vacationing in Mauritius!
It is my favorite place in Mauritius. The entire staff were cheerful, super friendly and attentive. I were a solo, but I felt like as if I was at my home. Special thanks to Krishna, Coulou ( the amazing chef), Adhur, Abool, Ahmed, Asraf in Housekeeping and the Duty managers. I would love to come again and stay in Mauricia Beachcomber :)
What an incredible find. This is the most superb hotel run by a wonderful lady who is so kind and thoughtful. Right in the heart of Grand Baie. The rooms are so comfortable and modern. The views from the terraces on each floor are sublime. The staff are all lovely. I cannot recommend this fantastic hotel highly enough.
The staff was really good, the Hotel is good and comfy but need some attention to details, a new paint job here and there. The restaurant has an amazing view as some of the bedrooms. Internet access is fast.
Try the spa and massages, in 2 weeks we got a raining afternoon so we did it.
We had a great time there.
Amazing stay in an amazing town.Perfect location, fantastic staff. If you are heading to beautiful Grand Baie then look no further, Villa Narmada is perfect.
Close to everything, amazing breakfast, super friendly people.
Thanks to the lovely Ruth and all her staff.
Will return in April xx
Overall we had a great week in this hotel, staff was friendly and helpful, tasty food (we booked all inclusive package) and great Animation team.
Location was good as well as we were able to walk to town do all shopping for souvenirs
Very good place to have breakfast (clean and simply decorated and the food was good). Free wifi and great atmosphere and a nice view on the bay. RECOMMENDED if you want a peaceful stay in Mauritius. Good service. Tasty kitchen
As I have two separate reviews to make, this hotel is truly one of the best in Mauritius. Some simple negative sides aside, this property truly deserves its current rating on booking.com
Had a newly renovated Appartement at the groundfloor. Just a few steps to the beach of Grand baie Restaurants Shops etc.. No more value for Money achievable..
