    I absolutely adore Napier.

I absolutely adore Napier. I travel from Feilding to visit my partner who is a fishermen. I take full advantage of all the amazing activities for my 2yr old daughter to enjoy. From the parks, lookout, visiting the aquarium to even visiting the 6 legged Sheep.

Interesting art deco architecture. The CBD is very walk-able. Good shops and restaurants; we highly recommend Mister D's bistro. Great central location for exploring the Hawke's Bay wine region.

Attended a concert at McLean Park, Napier is so compact it was an easy enough walk. Great eateries, restaurants and wineries. Also some nice stores although some of them were a bit pricey. So many towns and sights are close to Napier and is appropriate for children and adults of all ages. Warning, you definitely need more than just a couple of days!

Napier is a BIG little town with plenty to see and do and lots of seaside walks and inner cycle pathways to explore. Nicely laid out and good places to eat. The reason why big trucks drive through town centre is baffling as there is a bypass to the port and is noisy and ruins the vibe. The significant gang presence in Napier is concerning, they are everywhere and are rude, aggressive, intimidating and seem to revile in their pathetic existence to annoy others.

We stayed here for the Napier Art Deco festival and the location was perfect with lots of free parking which was a real bonus as the town was very busy and many streets closed for the festival. Wonderful hotel with great staff very helpful and friendly. The room on the 5th floor end of corridor was brilliant with floor to ceiling windows on 2 sides the views were fab - in fact I watched the air display from there and had a closer view than people on the ground! We did not use the restaurant but did have breakfast at the swimming pool cafe opposite which was lovely and the Masonic Hotel which was also great. The location was a few minutes walk from the centre of the town so ideal We would absolutely stay here again but you need to book early for the festival in February - we booked in June the year before!

It's unfortunate that Napier, due to still struggling from the storms last year and the harvest staff requiring lodgings, it is very difficult to get reasonable accomodation. We visited Napier several years ago and absolutely loved it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Art Deco Masonic Hotel and only wish we could have stayed for longer. The decor and furnishings throughout the building are exceptional, we felt as if we were in The Great Gatsby. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout and our room was delightful. The attention to detail everywhere was superb. The hotel location is fantastic for exploring Napier. We particularly loved the first floor outside terrace overlooking the sea.

A perfect place to relax, unwind and treat yourselves with some luxury. Treat this venue as the main part of your trip, just eat and drink "at home" taking in the views. Everything was wonderful, all guests commented on the comfort of the beds. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space if needed. Really made our trip to Napier a memorable one

SeaBreeze is a perfect location, right across from the beach and walking distance to shops, restaurants and some local sites such as the Napier Prison tours. Guido was super friendly and walked me to my room and showed me everything I needed to know, including complimentary breakfast in the mornings. This was a very enjoyable stay, would highly recommend.

Lovely motel sort of halfway between Napier and Hastings which was handy for us. The facilities were great. The kids loved the little slide into the swimming pool and the games room (pool, table tennis, air hockey) was lots of fun. The spa pool was fantastic! The room was clean and room service did a great job. Friendly and helpful staff.

Our room was HUGE and very clean. The location on West Quay turned out to be perfect. There were several cafes and restaurants very close by (try Salty Whale). The hotel offers free washing machine and only $2 for using the dryer. The reception staff were pleasant and very helpful.
