It would be good if they could provide sandals or slippers or some kind of flip flops as a comfortable foot wear when you're in your room. Specially in the shower because the floor was freezing cold. 😭🥶

Staff let me check in early, plenty of car parking, reasonably well equipped room. The rate was ok.

The host was accomodating when we said we needed more towels as there was only two towels. There was enough basic essentials where we did not have to buy.

Host was very helpful & understanding with needing a later checkout as my mother has cancer... I did get charged more than the initial cost quoted though...

I have been to Dandenong a couple of times and found it to be a nice place to visit but wouldn't stay as it does have it's reputation for a lot of violence.
The hotel I stayed at was in a great spot , access to public transport , the shopping centre is located directly across the road.

A multicultural south eastern suburban township located about 35-40km from the CBD of Melbourne. Either you need a car or be able to afford Uber, otherwise getting around can be a challenge. Daylight vibrancy changes completely to quiet and silent isolation at night. Unless, you are connected night activities are very dismal.

While the hotel itself was fine, and out of the dodgy zone, if you go in to the Dandenong shops there are a lot of people asking for money (which we thought was illegal in Victoria...) and a lot of people seem to be zonked on substances. Sometimes large groups in the park to the south trying to get your attention - a bit intimidating if you're travelling on foot. Some positives - A good Middle-Eastern bread shop in Dandenong with very helpful people. Lots of shops and options, things that are hard to find elsewhere.

The air conditioner, heating and bed was ok.
The air conditioner, heating and bed was ok.
No spare blankets, only 4 sachets of coffee and sugar supplied for 2 nights stay. No phone to front desk. Breakfast was in a plastic box with cereal, milk a little juice , mini muffin and a little piece of yoghurt slice which had to be eaten in their room as no dining space supplied. The room had 1 square plastic stool to sit on which was grubby.otherwise the bed was all they could sit on. No toaster either. There was scuff marks on walls and floor and dusty oil marks on the roof also. The hooks for hanging towels/clothes were also broken
The motel had them sign a security form where there car rego was recorded for security but why do this when my wife returned that night to find a man sleeping in his car and using his phone. In the morning she lifted the blind and there he was in the car still. She was not sure if he was dead or alive as still in same seat of car she took his rego in case he was dead. The day manager then knocked on their door as they had not checked out . The day manager after being told what they saw escorted them to their car as concerned for their safety. At this point the man put his hood on his head to obscure his face.
The site advertised a continental breakfast but the breakfast in a box cost them $9 each .
My wife rang me the first night and said pls do not book this accommodation at this IBIS again.

With plenty of shops, markets and a wide variety of restaurants. Dandenong was very central to attractions and an easy drive from the airport.
Would definitely stay again

Plenty of great restaurants in the area.
Plenty of great restaurants in the area. Everyone we met was friendly and professional and helpful.
If you like boardgames and trading card games, stop in at Next Level Games in Thomas Street and have a chat.
Jimmyz Kebabs were yummy and Oro Bianco Woodfired Pizza at 175 Lonsdale Street was great. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and definitely loved the cheesy garlic bread and were too full for dessert!
Plenty of Uber drivers available so getting around was pretty easy.
2nd time staying here during Christmas. Like first time, the bed was exceptionally soft and luxurious to sleep on. The shower was massive and had outstanding water pressure from the rain head shower, absolutely divine experience. The location is extremely close to central Dandenong and there is loads of free parking. Customer service is very pleasant. TV worked well as did the air conditioner. The room was very very clean, not a spot on the mugs/glasses.
Breakfast was great. Plenty of choices. Helpful friendly staff. The location was fantastic. Dandenong shopping mall directly across The Road. Bus stop directly outside the hotel to the Station and other locations or it's around 7mn walk to station
Places of worship close by . Plenty of cafes and restaurants around the area.
Upon arrival I was greeted by the smiling Hotel Reception staff member. I found my room and its amenities very comfortable, plus the location in Central Dandenong was ideal and overall good value. When I am next in Dandenong, I will be staying at the Hotel and recommend the Hotel to anyone whilst visiting Dandenong
Basic but okay, hotel still in beginning phase. Exactly as in pictures. Comfortable bed. Nice to have cooking & laundry facilities. Modern look and feel and mostly clean. Small bathroom but with great roomy shower space. Good location close to mall and trains. Very friendly staff.
The motel was good value for money. It was well located in between family members and the Dandenong markets and main shopping area. The staff were friendly and the room fairly spacious but the bed was the best - very comfortable.
5 minute walk to Dandenong train station and 7 min walk to large shopping arcade. Many smaller shops nearby many selling clothes, others food to take away or eat in. Coffee shop at entrance. Secure parking appreciated.
The receptionist was amazing! I told him that the hotel I was staying at had spiders everywhere so he gave me an upgrade.
The room was amazing and really clean too.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Room is big, bed is very comfortable and bathroom and shower is big. Has very secure guest parking! Would stay in this hotel again!
