Ok room for overnight stay. Wifi good. Bed was ok. Fridge in room was plus. A bit cold overnight. No aircon but heater should be in room.

I felt very welcome, as Nélia is a super friendly and helfpul host.
The place was very comfy and cosily furnished.
Having the possibility to use a bike made it easy to get around.

A lovely, picturesque town with amazing beach - finally one with no people. Completely different to Faro or Carvoeiro. Helpful people, great restaurants just right for the place. We highly recommend Taberna do Gabao.

The beach of Odeceixe sits a few km from Odeceixe, on the beach itself the variety and possibilities are limited, only a couple of restaurants, no real cafés, no shop to buy newspaper or any market available.
The beach itself is gorgeous and the cliff views are amazing, you even have the choice between a river or ocean beach next to each other.

Main beach lovely, Praia de Adega not very accesible, great views around but village somewhat rundown and totally dead at this time of year. Nowhere to go to eat except pastelaria for lunch time snack. Moving around Odeceixe is not easy. If I were to go again it woud definitely not be at Christmas/New Year.

We went mid January.
We went mid January. Most places were closed but we could see that at another time there would be a lot more choice of places to eat or stay. It's a pretty village with a steep climb to a preserved windmill. Great views from there. 3 km walk to the beach which is spectacular. Friendly villagers.

Odeciexe has beautiful beach, lots of back-packers seem to gravitate there. Avoid Casa Dorita accommodation at all costs, I can honestly say that when I was a young man I have stayed in far superior YMCA's
It reminds me of one of this flop houses you see in the movies.

Overnight motorhome/campervan parking now illegal in Portugal so angry about this. You can only park in authorised campsites. Otherwise I love Odeceixe - back to nature, village has good restaurants and bars. If no transport it takes around 30 to 40 minutes to walk to beaches where there are cafes and shops. Rota Vibcentina cliff top walk on other side of estuary has stunning views across the Atlantic and is the only place in Europe where storks nest on coastal cliffs.
Everything was meticulous and clean. Each day started on a good note with a proper hot shower and delicious breakfast. It’s been a while since a hotel has exceeded expectations. We went low season (Nov) so it was very peaceful and quiet. Beautiful and thoughtfully designed setting with a pool and gorgeous surrounding fauna. Location was a little further from Odeceixe beach than we expected (a short drive away) but was not an issue as it was so lovely and worth it. Highly recommend.
An amazing location above the main town site. Beautiful rural farm setting. Lovely "apartment" with tile floors, dark wood and even a visiting cat:).
We arrived after dark on foot and the owner generously offered to bring us a lavish dinner from his restaurant in town. Cost a little more than we might have paid if we went out, but it was nice to stay in and enjoy after a long day's hike.
The self check-in was a bit weird but comfortable solution so I can't say anything about the host(s). The room was better than expected, with a small balcony, free coffee, snacks and juice. The location is great, very close to all the bus stops of the town, restaurants and shops are very close. I returned to Odeceixe in some days and was no question to book another night at this place.
Casa Antiga is a lovely and cosy little hotel with a really friendly Host. The rooms in the main house appear in a very authentic old house manner and are very clean. The breakfast offers everything you need for a day full of hikes and beach life. There is also a nice inner courtyard for dinner that we didn't use because of off season, but that really looked nice. Highly recommended.
Isabelle is such a lovely Host and made us feel like home! She has great advice for visiting places, beaches, hikes and restaurants. Montes de Baixo is a stunning place. The natural pool is amazing with it’s views over the valley and the town odeceixe. It’s very calm, just right to have a relaxing holiday. One of the best stays we have ever had! Thanks Isabelle :)
Very nice hotel with individual suites that run along a street high above the town. Great views of the area and an old Portuguese windmill is at the end of the street. We enjoyed a wonderful Portuguese dinner at one of their restaurants up the street. ( there is also a small Michelin star restaurant at the hotel).
Fantastic location, just up the hill from the beach. We did the Fisherman’s trail hike and opted to stay out at the beach rather than in the town. Good decision, it’s a beautiful beach area.
The house is very nicely presented and decorated. We would have liked to have stayed for a few more days!
The hotel is in a beautiful spot, beside a gorgeous beach and attached to restaurant with big patio. However, be forewarned it can be very windy and cold here. We were in adjacent town scorching hot but by time we got to beach we needed all the clothes we brought! The breakfast was very good.
Nice host, helpful.Excellent homemade breakfast with lovely presentation and special dinner available by request . Room clean and quiet. Nice decor and amimals around
Access to many amazing beaches by car and short walk goes to wonderful view.
a wonderful location in the heart of the city.
sitting at a walking distance from the city’s greatest sights, shops and restaurants. The owner was absolutely wonderful and friendly, the prices were acceptable and the breakfast was realy great.
Good location inside Odeceixe village.
Super easy check-in. Host gaves us all information the day before so we could get inside by ourselves.
Small hostel but super clean and comfortable.
Great for a one night stay.
Nice room set fairly centrally in the town. Delightful host who provided the best breakfast of our weeks’ stay in Portugal. It was a pleasure to meet her and stay there.
A great ressort about 2km outside of Odeceixe. There are bikes available to shorten the trip to the nearby town or the beach. Very friendly staff and excellent rooms!
