Everything was amazing, the staff were great and the room was beautiful. The view was amazing and the soap/shampoo were great.
Mattress was a little firm and the breakfast was average but apart from that, the stay was perfect, just wish we could have had time to stay longer.

Beautiful hotel in a spectacular location. A selection of restaurants offered great choice and, whilst located out of the city, the shuttle bus and public bus as well as the hotel ferry afforded good transport links.

The staff were very friendly, kind and accommodating. We requested for extra pillows and sheets and they supported us with it. Location was really good, walking distance to the main areas of Hiroshima, tram station near by, calm and quiet area. Very good value for money.

Atomic Bomb Dome, Peace Park/ Museum and Miyajima were the highlights of the trip to Hiroshima,
Food for vegetarians is a bit of a challenge in Hiroshima; Margherita from Pizza Hut was atrocious.
Getting around is easy with good public transport.
Would avoid a budget hotel like Apa in future.

It is a powerful albeit sobering visit.
It is a powerful albeit sobering visit. The horror of the event is so clear when visiting the museam and monument. The town is loverly and eveywhere you see signs, art and street names evoking lover and peace. a testiment to the people who live there choosing positive sentiments today given the recent past. I think it is a good thing for prople to see and contempate.

Our guide Nob, picked us up at the hotel. On the way to the ferry he explained the history of Hiroshima. The boat ride to Miyajima and the Itsukushima Jinja shrine was very scenic. After lunch we went back to town and the Atomic Dome - terrifyingly impressive - and the Peace Museum. Do not miss this experience.

Hiroshima is a beautiful, nice city, in which I would highlight the Hiroshima Castle, a park with a ginkgo tree, a beautiful city center with numerous watercourses and specific cuisine. Good for 2-3 nights
many points can be reached by easy walking
there is good public transport available for more distant points
but in bad weather there is nothing to do and staying overnight is enough

The Hiroshima tourist pass is great and cost effective.
The Hiroshima tourist pass is great and cost effective. I really like it. A very nice pretty lady went out of her way to show my way to the hotel on my first day navigating to the hotel. She even walked with me and offered to carry my luggage up the stairs because I looked so lost :)) She also went out of her way to accompany me to the Train 7 platform going to Chuden Mae. Too bad was not able to get her name. Very nice and helpful people. The map is easy to navigate after a few days. Just not aware there’s free hiroshima wifi. I could have skipped getting a subscribed plan for 5 days.
The breakfasts buffet is good. We manage to have unagi don for the next few days of our stay. The hotel is also quite a distance from the train station. The nearest station is the tram and the bus station. So if you are considering to take shinkansen (Hiroshima Jr station) you can consider taking the bus instead with many luggages as there is no need to do any transfer for different lines as compared to taking the tram. There are alot of surrounding combini stalls and quite a handful of 24hr or late hours eateries.
Great business hotel walking distance to Peace Museum, shopping and dining out.
Great 24hr laundromat opposite the hotel that is cheaper with faster turnover of clean laundry. I only investigated this laundromat after 3 cycles of the dryer at the hotel on my first night.
Very pleasant, convenience & modernity you would expect of a smart business hotel. Great value for money. We went to Kumano Kodo area after Hiroshima and thought how much we missed good value hotels in bigger cities.
Nice and spacious room with a good view. Everything was clean and tidy.
The location was great for the Peace park etc, and quite close to tramline 1. For other options for public transport there was a bit of a walk, but not too far. The pictures used on booking.com were absolutely representative of what we got at the hotel.
The highlight was the breakfast and lounge area on the 25th floor. Good food for breakfast and snacks and drinks all day, with a wonderful view of Hiroshima.
Fantastic location - surrounded by lots of food and shopping. Easy street car to/from the train station. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The room had excellent blockout blinds for the morning sun. We were lucky enough to stay during the Hiroshima Flower Festival and had a festival (multiple blocks) full of food and entertainment right outside the hotel for the weekend. It's a nice easy walk from the hotel to the subway to get to Miyajima, and also to peace park.
The hotel Granvia is well located for a trip to Hiroshima, located just above the train station. Access to convenience store and food and beverage options outside hotel is great.
Service exceeded expectations as we arrived prior to check in time, stored our bags and went out for the day. When we returned to check in, our bags were already in our rooms. Happy to store luggage after checkout as week so that you can maximise your stay in the city.
The staff was extremely polite, and even took us to the elevator and bowed politely to us before it closed. The other staff at the reception always greets and smiles to the guests. The property was also very close to Hiroshima Station. The room is immaculately clean, spacious if by Japan standard, with modern facilities plus a very welcoming atmosphere. This is the best hotel by far on all of my trips to Japan! I highly recommend this hotel!
very close to Hiroshima station. the shared kitchen is very clean and has everything you need. The cabin is larger than the usual “capsule” you have in japan, so you won’t feel so cramped. It also has a small fan in each cabin so the air circulation was really good and can really feel the AC. free luggage storage, and the’s a café on the first floor. Compare to other capsule hotels, this is one of the best.
Great location near Peace Park and a lot of restaurants. Easy enough to get to from Hiroshima station. Staff were incredible, spoke good English and were willing to help us forward our luggage to the next city (and receive it early from the previous hotel). Great little coffee stand on the ground floor, a coin laundry available comfortable room overall. Shower & toilet were next level.
Right next to Peace Park and museum, there are buses that stop right in front of the hotel going to Hiroshima Station and tram stops not that far.
Breakfast options were really good and served buffet style, it's on the top floor and with many window seats so with a little bit of luck you get a great view of the park while eating.
Such an awesome hotel. Spacious (for Japan), clean and comfy. Loads of amenities (pyjamas, toothbrush, comb, razor, cotton buds, etc, etc) and an in-room washer/dryer. Walking distance to Hiroshima Station and Peace Memorial Park and near to restaurants. Great for our family of 4. Totally recommended.
Really stylish room and hotel close to the centre of Hiroshima, and a short walk away from Hiroshima Castle and the Peace Memorial Park. Smooth checkin, and the tokens to use for drinks and treats in the bar were very welcome on a rainy day! Beds were very comfortable, and bath was fabulous.
The view was nice, however hotel was a long way out of town. The foyer was attractive.
The breakfast was very poor.
Don't expect to enjoy a drink at the 23rd floor or desert, it is only open restricted hours.
There is a handy shuttle service to and from Hiroshima, it is free.
I love staying Dormy Inn hotels because it's always nice to have Onsen and I love their breakfast. This one in Hiroshima met my expectations. The room was a bit small (which was the Japanese standard) but clean and quiet. Breakfast was amazing with local ingredients.
The hotel was the perfect location to stay in Hiroshima. The views were amazing, both in my room and at breakfast. The staff was very attentive and the venue was clean. I loved that they had laundry facilities (which my next hotel did not).
It's a nice business hotel with a convenient location (like 4-5 min from Hiroshima Station). I got a great deal taking into account that I reserved the hotel one day before. Staff was super helpful and the bed was comfortable.
Beautiful hotel connected to Hiroshima Station, making it extremely convenient for the Shinkansen as well as local transit. Room was large for a Japanese city hotel and I had a lovely view of the city from my room.
Very clean.. Very close to Hiroshima Station.. 24hr Lawson as you enter the hotel is a great convenience.. And great staff as well.. Rooms well equipped and comfortable beds. Would recommend to foreigners.
The hotel was amazing and had everything for a two nigth stay in Hiroshima. The rooms was good and the hotel have a small spa. I loved the rooftop with free drinks, tee and small snacks
