Room was very comfortable and easy to get to via internal lifts or stairs. Location near the train station and other amenities also very helpful. Breakfast in the lovely restaurant was fantastic, lots of excellent fish options as well as the more usual continental. Bishop's arms also very pleasant and good range craft beer. They were also able to check us in an hour early which was super helpful.

Nice, new hotel in the Hyllie area in Malmö close to the Malmö Arena and Hyllie Station. Shopping, Malmö Leap, restaurants near by. Clean small rooms. Nice view from upper floors. Helpful staff! Breakfast (which was very good) was served in a part of the arena (probably vip area) with a view into the inner part of the arena - I liked that very much. Would certainly book again.

Fly direct to Malmö Airport from select European cities, or Copenhagen Airport (30km away). Trains connect Malmö to major Swedish cities and Copenhagen (35 minutes). Ferries from Germany and Poland dock in nearby Trelleborg.
Copenhagen Airport is the most convenient for both domestic and international travellers due to its extensive flight network. It's approximately 30km from Malmö, making it easily accessible via the Öresund Bridge.
Malmö, Sweden offers efficient public transport options including buses, trains, and trams. Skånetrafiken operates these services, with frequent schedules. For short distances, cycling is popular, with Malmö being a bike-friendly city. Car rentals are available, but remember Sweden drives on the right. Always check the latest travel updates before planning your journey.
The best areas to stay in Malmö, Sweden, are Västra Hamnen for its modern architecture and beach, and Gamla Staden for its historic charm. Both are centrally located, offering easy access to attractions and amenities.
Lovely, walkable center. Plenty of different dining options, mostly on the pricier side. Unexpected downside, too many immature individuals in super-noisy vehicles. Something I thought would not be a case here.

We visited in Spring time and the city looked beautiful. Clean air, blue skies, beautiful flowers, blossoming trees and clean waterways. City is generally very clean and public transport is easy and pleasant to use. So many excellent restaurants, we didn't have a single bad meal. Neighbourhoods felt safe too. We struggled to find any proper nightlife, but there are plenty of bars, cafes and squares to hang out in.

Great modern city of around 300,000 people, integrating new with the historic older squares, buildings and port infrastructure. New accommodation facilities being built on the harbour shore areas. Easy to cycle, walk and catch buses and trains! Very friendly people!

I really liked my first time in Sweden.
I really liked my first time in Sweden. The people seem very friendly, there is a lot to see, and I was lucky to have amazing weather during the entire trip.
Malmö is quite big, so while you can walk everything, it may be more comfortable to get a day pass for the public transport. I walked on average 20 km each day, which may have been less if I had made a concrete plan on which route to go, but I tend to go with the flow - and there's a lot of flow in Malmö.
The Disgusting Food Museum was fun, if you're into some out of the ordinary things to do, but there are also plenty of other museums, churches, and things to see in every street.
The city is a little bit dirty, but not outrageously so, and it's quite fresh as it is located directly next to the see. The beach is nice too, there's a beach for dogs, and space to swim.
I also spent one day in Lund, which is really easy to reach and an extremely nice University town with some great churches and architecture. I thought I could do this in a few hours, but I could have spent the entire day there.
I feel like I could come back for another week and still discover more things in both places, so I will definitely be returning.

Malmo is one of the greatest cities I ever visited.
Malmo is one of the greatest cities I ever visited. Firstly, the surroundings are very nice. The city has a beach, many parks, much of restaurants, museums, activity friendly places. Secondly, everyone is really nice and relaxed and the overall vibe is home-like. I would totally recommend to anyone who wants a short or even long city break.

An interesting city and the 'Cathedral' - St Petri - is a stunning building with what is said to be the largest organ in Scandinavia. Certainly well worth a visit. The various squares with restaurants are cosy and fun. The live music bar (Irish themed) called Fagan's was fun and full of atmosphere. The 'Folk & Rock' bar/live music house in the Lilla Torg square was full of memorabilia and whilst we didn't see the band playing there that night, we went for a coffee after church the following day.
We wanted to visit so much more, but sadly we didn't have the time.
I stayed at this hostel for a total of four nights as part of my solo trip to Sweden. The location was quite convenient and the staff were very friendly, but the rooms and toilets could be slightly better. Although without no doubt, the value for money for the stay was definitely reflected in the price and very much above the average. I'd highly recommend this place if you are looking for a budget option to stay in Malmö, this is very much a solid alternative to a pricier hotel stay.
Very tasty breakfast, nice restaurant, a lot of cafes, shops, restaurants around. Big room, high ceiling, big windows, everything is needed there (kettle, toaster, hair dryer, iron, stove, dishwasher, freezer) and even bath, which is big surprise in Sweden. Also, free gym and laundry were a pleasant surprise.
Navigation in the hotel crystal clear, a lot of pointers on the walls, in the lyft etc.
I see the owners really tried to make a comfortable space for staying.
I think the booking app had problems, at beginning I had selected 2 rooms 4 guests, but I didn’t know how would it happened I booked 1 family rooms by guarding by the booking.com. Likely I was choosing free cancellation before 6:00 pm made me possible change booking but, another problem happened not including breakfast! Anyway I had difficulty time staying in Radisson at Malmo, paying much more money than I expected.
The hostel reception girl was very nice and helpful!
The location was great - very close to the Triangel train station, (18 minutes by train from Copenhagen airport) also one of Malmo's main art galleries, which has an excellent restaurant. The Opera House is almost opposite, and the canal is only 5 minutes' walk away. I loved having an art gallery in the hotel. The breakfast was excellent, with a huge range of food. The bed was very comfortable.
Tunneln is a historic hotel in the center of the pedestrian district of Malmö, 10 minutes' walk from the railway station. The hotel is really charming, with a comfortable library-bar, artwork throughout, and rooms with both trendy and historic touches. The breakfast had a good selection. My second stay and I'll certainly be back next time in Malmö.
This hotel offered excellent value for money. The front desk staff was stellar and gave us some amazing recommendations. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom functional, and the overall hotel was nice. The parking garage across the street with direct hotel access was also very convenient. Would definitely stay here when in Malmo!
Location was perfect for walking around (hotel is right off lilla torg and stor torg, walking distance to several cafes and restaurants, and only 15 minute walk from Malmo Centralstation) , staff were very nice and helpful, very nice facilitates. Breakfast provided on site was awesome and had a lot of options to chose from.
We hadnt actually placed too much emphasis on Malmo for our holiday as it was a final 'placeholder' night before flying out from Copenhagen airport. But we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. the hotel was well located to the vibrant squares with plenty to eat and drink and see. the rooms were large and well appointed.
Great location in Malmö, very nice and helpful staff, great breakfast buffet. Also perfect size of the hotel, not too big. Great value for your money. Have been here many times and will be back soon. Checking in at Tunneln feels like coming home. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Real 4 star Maybe more ( in Sweden anything seems to be 4 star).Beautiful art deco building.Enviromentslly friendly.Competent nice staff.Few steps from train station and airport bus stop. Most beautiful places in Malmö round the corner And many restaurants.Good big breakfast
Excellent quality hotel chain - and an excellent room in Malmö's old city. Easy walk from Central Station - friendly check-in and a fantastic, quiet room. Zippy wifi (important, since I was teaching a class remotely). Excellent breakfast as well. Fantastic property!
It was closer to Malmö Arena than I had realised! Since we stayed for Eurovision, it was great to see all the decor and festivities inside the hotel as well, as it really rounded off the experience! Lovely guy on reception, very personable.
Everything was perfect. We had everything we needed. Very nice and helpful host.
It is a nice accommodation in a quite area of Malmö. It was our second time and we will certainly come back on our trips to or from North Sweden.
Visiting this hotel for past three years and I like it. Location, parking one min from hotel, pleasant members of staff, good breakfast to start the day with. Bikes to rent, dog friendly. So next tike in Malmo, will stay again.
Great hotel in a great central location in Malmö. The room was spacious with a large bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Everything was nice and clean. The staff is kind and service minded. I really recommend this hotel.
The breakfast was great, it was organized as a buffet and there were plenty of options to choose from.
The hotel is located near the Malmo Central Station and on a 10 minutes walk to the city center.
