The Hotel Albrici is steeped in history at every turn, and the owners are proud of the history. The main hotel has a couple of rooms where the original flooring, panelling etc has been maintained. The ceilings are fantastic. When busy, the hotel has other rooms just down the street. These are still in a historic building. The rooms are very comfortable. And everything is central.
Ristorante Pensione Chalet Stazione enjoys a quiet location in Poschiavo, 5 metres from the Rätische Bahn Train Station, and offers free WiFi, free parking and a ski storage room.

The room was modern and well furnished, with a comfortable bed and a good Bathroom . It’s right next to the train station and a few minutes from other restaurants and bars. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Hotel Le Prese is located in a newly-renovated building dating back to 1855 at the Lago di Poschiavo, and it offers free WiFi, free private parking and a garden with a terrace.

Ristorante Albergo Selva is a beautiful place run by a really welcoming and dedicated family. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, the site offers plenty of areas to relax and Jacopo and his family are always happy to help you out with information or other things. Highly recommended!

The location of the hotel is fabulous. The scenery is something else, with snow capped mountains all around and a lake just over the road.

The borge (town centre) is very beautiful (and quiet, as it is almost car-free). Many interesting sights, small workshops, museums, cultural and architectural things to see and explore. Friendly people.
Once you have seen it all, start exploring the whole of the valley that offers everything from the Bernina Hospizio down to Tirano in Valtalina vallley. There is something for everybody for every season, be it mountain-biking or discussing local literature experiences and tasting the regional bio-food surprises.....

Lots of interesting architecture, pretty villas and palazzos. Museums not open in the winter which is a shame. Great to use as stop-over on the Bernina train line. Lovely surroundings and not overly touristy. Some very nice looking restaurants although not a lot was open in February.

Poschiavo in February was quiet and beautiful.
Poschiavo in February was quiet and beautiful. Coming in and out on the train with a view of the lake and the whole valley was an incredible experience. It was lovely to stroll through the town at night and in the sun and get a true feel for the culture in the region in the midst of incredible natural beauty. The lamb in the Restaurant of the Hotel Centrale was excellent!

Very quaint village.
Very quaint village. Would like to have more restaurants with gluten free options. Was very limited. Made it tough for someone who has an allergy. Hotel Albrici is a wonderful place to stay for a short visit. The Apt we stayed in was great. Convenient for hiking. Hotel had a train and bus card that saved a lot of money.
Very charming! Both the hotel and the dependence are beautifully-restored historic buildings in the center of the village. We stayed in the dependance, which is around the corner (next to the Hotel Suisse). The room was large and impeccably clean with comfortable beds. Bathroom was and modern. There are common spaces on the second and third floor, which would come in handy for an extended stay (sort of like a lobby area). Breakfast was wonderful! We also had dinner in the hotel which was very good.
Gorgeous location at the lake side. Surrounding park with old trees. Nice architecture of the hotel and terrace as well as the interior.
Particularly I loved that the kitchen was placed in the ground floor with lots of natural light for the staff. It’s remarkable that the owner cared to create excellent working conditions for his employees. Dinner and Breakfast were excellent and staff was responsive and friendly.
Really fabulous apartment with a great kitchen and huge public space and private bedroom. The second bed is a fold-down model (twin size) which was pretty comfy. The host was very helpful and helped us find parking in the area (though could have been more clear how to find parking to start with). A nice 1km walk from the main station in Poschiavo along side roads.
Very cozy hotel if you need to spend the night around the Bernina Pass, the rooms were comfortable, very clean, and the owner was so warm and accomodating. The abundance of wood made the interior ambient adequate to the location in the mountains. We absolutely loved the breakfast, very complete, fresh and served tastefully. Totally recommended!
Friendly welcome, simple but well appointed bedroom, good restaurant, efficient, professional and friendly staff, very good breakfast comprising of a large range of food, location of the hotel (but for the noise of traffic) in a charming town from which one can travel easily to many walking paths and other towns
Everything is very clean and neat throughout the hotel premises.
Stunning views onto the Lago di Poschiavo.
Incredibly friendly staff. Also very flexible with checkin formalities etc.
Free public transportation available in the whole Val Poschiavo.
We stayed in Historic hotel Albrici instead of Altavilla since their hot water heater was not working.
The staff greeted us was Mr. Lucio was very friendly and helpful, it was a very traditional building and clean facility
Breakfast was awsome
I have stayed i Hotel Suisse before, and was fully satisfied. The new hotel restaurant across the street is fine as was the smaller restaurant in the hotel before. Good food (try ice cream with winefoam as desert) and serving. I will come back.
So many things to like…
Great location at the Le Prese train station. Warming hospitality by the reception staff. Comfort room was very comfortable. Loved the amazing selection of Raselli teas in the room. Free Parking.
Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Good breakfast. Our traindelays made us arrving after official check in time but as we called that was no problem, they helped to find a very nice restaurang and was very helpful
My husband and I stayed one night after our ride on the Bernina Express. The hotel is a short walk to the station, quiet, and the views from room 18 were gorgeous.
