An excellent choice for staying in Moshi! Clear views of Kilimanjaro from the top floor and very nice, comfortable rooms. The property owner, Gabriel was very helpful and attentive in making sure my stay was an enjoyable one. The food and restaurant service was very good. Exceptional value for money here. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to others and would stay here again on a return trip to Moshi.

The weather is great - quite cool at this time of year.
The weather is great - quite cool at this time of year. The town is clean and well labelled. It is a small town so its very serene and has little traffic jam. I consider it a great stop-over if heading to Dar es salaam by road from the Kenya side.

It's a busy but friendly city, I was grateful to not be driving myself anywhere. Taxis are very easy to get. It helps to have someone local who can help you navigate. The food is great and the people are kind.

Leafy town on the southern slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Leafy town on the southern slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The town itself does not have a real center, just a tacky sculpture of Mt. Kilimanjaro in the center of a roundabout.
However, if you stay a little bit outside of town then you can enjoy the unique location.

There is a lot of really nice restaurants(indointaliano is one of the best) and the view of Kilimanjaro is amazing. Moshi is the best place to find a company which will take you to the summit of Kilimanjaro. You can also do day trips from Moshi to Materuni waterfalls or Kikuletwa Hot Springs.

There is absolutely nothing to do in Moshi and is only good if you do a tour or two and hike Kilimanjaro. When you are done with those, get out! The do have a Regional Immigration Office that will extend your visa for 30 days if you need it.
A new place located in a very quiet rural area a few kilometers from Moshi, the perfect hotel to recover after 6 days trekking Kilimanjaro. Lots of laundry (clothes, shoes and even my backpack), all taking care in a few hours.
Gabriel the owner, together with Patricia and the team are all very friendly. Probably the best place I have stayed since the beginning of my trip in Africa 6 weeks ago. If you are unlucky to find the place fully booked, come at least for a drink in the garden and a meal, for sure the best in town !
Beautiful and quiet place to stay in Moshi. It is a little while out of Moshi town, about 25mins driving. Although it is a tent with no climate control, even in the coldest month, there was no need for heating or cooling. The restaurant has delicious food for breakfast lunch and dinner, and the hotel grows its own fruit and coffee. they can make fresh juices for breakfast and dinner. It is perfect for families or couples looking to have a place to relax and unwind after their many adventures around Mount Kilimanjaro.
My stay was honestly quite bad. As I arrived, there was no running water at the room, no electricity, the WiFi connection didn't reach the room, the toilet was in poor condition. The first solution they offered to me was to change me to the Double Room, which was 7$ more expensive than the one I booked. I was quite annoyed. The facilities I was missing were totally basic, and they wanted me to pay more for something that should be granted.
The only good thing was the terrace and the staff (as always in Tanzania <3)
This is a lovely little spot, outside of Moshi Town but relatively peaceful and with views of Kilimanjaro from the pool. The wifi worked well most of the time, and the service from staff was excellent as we were there during a quiet week. The breakfast and food on offer at the restaurant was good. The staff were really helpful in organising tuk tuks into town and a driver to take us to the waterfall for a reasonable price. We enjoyed being able to relax by the pool in the sun before starting our Kilimanjaro trek!
Because I happened to be the only guest there and it was low season, I was lucky to receive a room upgrade from a dorm room to a private room with no extra charges. Although it did feel lonely at times as there were no other guests to interact with. The room was clean. I like that the hostel also offers a tour to the hot spring and waterfall areas at a much cheaper rate compared to other tour offices in Moshi (p.s they're a rip off). And they have a cute paka (cat in Swahili) named Cutie.
Great Hotel with specific location, Friendly Rates that can be affordable, Easy to explore Moshi since the hotel is in down town, The Roof top is Amazing with clear view of Mount Kilimanjaro while enjoying your moment of staying for refreshment, Drinks of all Kind available with reasonable price , Delicious meals of different styles available , Nothing to worry about Climbers Home is the best place to stay.
Probably one of the best place in town, hence you pay what you pay. Nice grounds in lush garden with well located restaurant and swimmingpool. Restaurant has reasonable price quality but excellent ambiance (lots of indian dishes revealing the owners heritage) It seems that most officials and foreign staff prefer to stay here when need be in Moshi. Efficient staff and really pleasant place to stay.
A good hotel to stay for a night if you need to be close to the Airport. The stuff is extremly kind and helpul! The rooms are big, bathrooms as well. Everything is very clean. Big garden in the back. Nice restaurant with very kind stuff outside the hotel. They provide buffet meals which are very tasty.
Sophie and her family are very welcoming. The place is cosy, decorated with taste and clean. They organised dinner, which was delicious and healthy. The breakfast was also very good, mainly with local products. Highly recommended if you want a Tanzanian experience and meet people!
One of the best stays we had in Tanzania:
- absolutely delicious food
- very friendly and helpful staff
- very friendly and nice owner
- clean and cozy room with view to Mount Kilimanjaro
Wish our schedule wasn't so tight, we gladly would have stayed for longer.
Thoughtful design in the rooms and the terrace. The staff were friendly and helpful. We booked short notice for only one night because we were unhappy with our previous hotel- this was half the price and more comfortable too! Good breakfast.
I love love love loved it. It’s beyond beautiful! Literally the aesthetic I was looking for in Moshi. I booked the place for one night but boy it was IT. Definitely will be back soon.
I say don’t think twice and just book right away guys!
The location of the hotel is good the rooms are clean and the staffs are so friendly 🥰 the also offered a safari and mount climb it was amazing 😉 👊🏿Thank you so much Erasto see you again
Beautiful hotel hidden outside of moshi town. The host daudi will organise and accommodate every need during your stay. Rooms are spacious and dinner is delicious and good value!
