The house was very fine, delightfully quirky and full of character reflecting its long family associations and interests. My hosts were charming to the extent I felt very much at home. I left with reluctance!

I have been to Wick many times because there is plenty to see and do.
This time we headed to John o Groats to the Puffin Croft Petting Farm which was such a joy.The lady who owns the farm is there to greet you and tell you about the goats, the sheep, the pigs, the donkeys, the rabbits and the Shetland pony - hope I haven't missed one!
One place you must look for is the shortest street in the world which is in Wick.

Wick itself is a pretty but windswept and deeply depressed town. There is not a great deal to do in March - the walk to the castle was nice although I was almost blown off my feet. I had half a day there which was more than enough time to do everything that was open in the town. I plan to go back and explore the surrounding area over a couple of days,

Wick is an interesting old town in an interesting part of Scotland. There are many archaeological sites around worth seeing. The town has lovely places to eat, a super museum and places to walk or even swim in open water.

Wick itself looked rather shabby in places (probably looks better at high tide) and was very quiet when we were there. It is a good stop-off when moving up the coast between Inverness and John O'Groats with an interesting castle on the coast just north and other archeological sites close by. It has a good Tesco with reasonably priced fuel and we found a good pizza take-away in the town centre.
The accommodation was good and as expected, but located in a deserted part of the town just back from the harbour. Ours was the only car parked on the road overnight but the area seemed very safe.

Wick is an awful run down town and the accommodation was a disgrace and certainly not as advertised and shall be requesting a refund for mis representation of property. This is not a hotel and certainly not an inn, just a room over a derelict shop
What a complete gem!!!! Fantastic spot for exploring the region. Wick is an incredibly cute town and the Bank Guest House is super centrally located in Wick, walking distance to pubs and restaurants. Definitely Check out The Alexander Bain for cold beer and amazing dinner.
The guest house itself is very comfy. The bed was wonderful, the room super clean and well stocked and they had the most bomb breakfast!!! I spent an amazing 2 night here, saw some stunning sites and just enjoyed the best of Scottish hospitality. I would 100% come back !!
Close to railway station & town centre, ie all within walking distance.
Nice view of the harbour
Room had menus for places to eat out & B&B offered to provide cutlery etc if I ordered takeaway
Room set up to provide cooked breakfast in the room, although I had a breakfast to take away as had early morning train. This was delivered to my room - brilliant service.
There was a place to store my bicycle
Room & hotel were warm
Spacious room & bathroom
A team of 3 men just working in the area and came across this huge apartment. Property is modern and immaculately clean with no issues. I made an error with the booking and thought I was checking out on Monday morning, but instead I spoke to the owner and told him that I got it wrong and he said I can stay the night free of charge. Absolute gentleman and would recommend this place for anybody staying in or around Wick. Thank you
Fantastic location right in the middle of Wick. The property was easy to find and we were easily parked close by. The property was spacious and we enjoyed having the amenities of a fully furnished two-bedroom apartment during our stay in Wick. We loved having the balcony to spend our summer evenings after returning from a day of exploring.
The place was amazing, on the top of the hill with stunning landscape on the valley and hills. The house was really cozy and lovely, with all of the comfort inside. Last but not least, the host was really kind!! In case we'll come back to visit Scotland, we will definitely come back in such a wonderful place.
A beautiful holiday home in a lovely part of Scotland, with so much to see whatever the weather. We chose this cottage as we wanted somewhere special for our 25th wedding anniversary and it had it all!! It's very comfortable, well equipped, spacious and the hosts were excellent. Class and luxury!!
The breakfast was cooked with care. The host was amazing. We've enjoyed our discussions with her greatly, and it enhanced our experience in an already scenario and wonderful place. A must stop to rest as you travel around Scotland's Highlands. Thank you for everything!
Louis and Laura
The guest house was lovely, clean, quiet and in a great location, just a short walk into Wick. Julie was lovely and made me feel welcome and at home. The breakfast options were great and I can’t fault anything. I would definitely recommend to anyone!
Truly dreadful not representation of the hotel on booking . Com

Beautiful cottage with everything you need. Beds are super comfy. Location was peaceful countryside and hand to see the top part of Scotland. Hosts were lovely and the welcome basket was a beautiful touch
This is a very very friendly place, the host is funny and friendly, if you stop in wick, stop here! And don't forget to visit the pub right around the corner. The unpolished, real scotland:-)
Great location to help explore tip of the Easternmost part of Scotland. Kitchen lovely and new. Beds very comfortable. Lovely tartan comfortable carpet. Overall a very enjoyable stay.
Friendly stay in an old-school hotel in central Wick. Rest of downtown easily accessible on foot. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast. En-suite appeared recently renovated.
