The location couldn’t be better, half a block from the main pedestrian street but still in a calm and quiet backyard. Free parking right outside the hotel front door in a European city of this size is amazing service. Very friendly reception, flawless rooms, good breakfast. Amazing value for money, highly recommended.

Spacious room with plenty of space to store stuff. The bathroom was also a decent size. Our room had one completely glass wall opening out onto a balcony and a lovely view of a church. The whole hotel had a lovely airy layout. The location was great for the town square and restaurants (less so for public transport).

There's an upscale hotel in Vilnius called Pacai - it's built in a restored 17th century mansion and is one of the best hotels in Lithuania. Berman House is an economy version of hotel Pacai - it has a very similar vibe with some exposed brick walls reminiscing of the building's past, it also has this modern touch everywhere you look but at the same time you cannot help but feel like a time traveller. It cozy, but feels pretty luxurious. Great location, clean rooms and a sense of luxury for the fraction of the price.

Fantastic, small, private hotel with great view towards Neris river. Freshly renovated. Rooms are clean, with comfortable bed and perfectly equipped. Everything was fresh and clean. The walls' paintings made us smiling as they are unconventional, colorful and very unique like 'being in a fairy tale'. Breakfast very good and tasty. The Owner was very friendly, offering help when needed. Location is good, in a walking distance to Neris and Nemunas junction and the Old Town.

What a beautiful city, clean, safe, spacious, green (by this I mean lots of trees and open spaces AND green initiatives like trolley buses, pedestrian spaces and robot mowers!).
Really interesting architecture (beautiful central domed cathedral and period architecture buildings), street scenes and cafe culture. Longest shopping street in Europe! Euro currency. A safe, family feel. Great Bolt taxi service and good choice of hotels and restaurants. Lots of cafes, bars and pubs. Good for couples, families and friends. I really loved it. I’m told it is very Lithuanian, which would be great praise for the country. It should have been higher up my travel list. We came from the UK for the Nord Orthopaedic clinic (VERY EXCELLENT) but will be back for holidays. Nice straight talking locals with excellent English language. Its really easy. Also a great, modern, close airport. All good.

Kaunas is our native city - we love everything about it, especially since we don't live here and come to visit just every now and then.
Favorite places: Laisves Aleja (the main walking street) full of cute outdoor cafes and the Old Town - ancient yet well looked after, with all its galleries and old buildings.
Almost any cafe is good - you find European cuisine, fusion, native Lithuanian. Good coffee and exquisite pastries everywhere.
The Akropolis shopping mall is good for shopping (the sales are REAL SALES), eating out, and buying food/drinks in the Maxima supermarket on the ground floor. A unique 'kepyklele' (bakery) by its entrance!
Kaunas has two theatres (drama and musical), a very good philharmonic hall, the Zalgiris Arena stadium, and there is always something very cultural going on.

Enjoyed our time in kaunas , great bars , check out hop doc and genys , good selection of restaurants offering local cuisine , we Also ate,at baking bad , vest burgers we gave had in years ,,, well worth checking out
The location was perfect, actually in the modern centre and a few minutes walk from the airport bus stops - unless you preferred to stay in the more distant Old Town or calmer residential areas and to avoid the ground floor with windows offering direct contact with car parking payers. Relatively calm inside, as per the city centre. Modern design, everything you might need was there in good shape, constructive communication with the host company.
The breakfast was OK nothing special. The location is good because it's right in the middle of the city centre but you should be aware of the events happening near the hotel if you want a quiet stay. The air conditioning was also great for such a hot day. The staff were nice but you don't really get to meet them, you go straight to your room with a code and you press a button in your room when you want to checkout.
It was a good choice to take the apartment instead of the hotel room. It has kitchen, microwave. The apartment is extra spacious. I will stay here next time with my 2 children. I loved the fact that the apartment is in the inner very quite yard though right in the city centre. The location was excellent, Laura was always available answering my questions and I had a very cosy stay. Thank you :)! Labai aciu :)
The hotel is placed in an old building in the city center, 2 minutes from the pedestrian walk. Thus it's really close to the touristic area (old town). However it is a quiet place. The bed was really comfortable, so I could have a very good sleep each night. The room was cleaned on a daily basis. The breakfast included quite the same things each day, but there were fairly enough meal choices.
We were heading to Pažaislio vienuolynas that is close to the hotel. So it was on our way and a bit out of the town centre. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was full and good. It was really good value for our family. There was free parking near hotel that makes stay simple and enjoyable.
A really nice play to stay, as it is in a great location in the centre of the city. The hotel is really fun, the staff is really friendly and helpful. Plus you get a cocktail on the house for your stay. The rooms are so different, the interior is so different to any other hotel.
The room was very clean, as well as the rest of the facilities. It was really quite even though it is a hostel. Minutes way from all city centre activities. Bus stop just outside with connection to trains and airport! Well recomended!
Nice place to stay. Staff was very professional and had everything prepared. Parking lot was included (thats a bonus considering that hotel is located in city centre). Breakfast was just great!
Very easy access to the property, great location just outside the city, very quiet. If you have a car, it would be best, as walking to the shops etc, would be about a 25 minute walk.
The hotel is a beautiful building in front of the Opera house with access from the pedestrian street in the city centre. The rooms are fresh and wide, with a relative simple style.
Great location, you are on walking distance from the city center, and also have on walking distance crucial local bus stops. Room is large and clean. Beds are comfy.
Very helping and nice host.
If you don't know what to see in the city for short stay just ask, and she will show the options that are just around the place.
A brand new hotel on the outskirts of the city centre; very clean, big comfy rooms, good parking facilities, decent breakfast and really nice friendly staff.
