There is this particular restaurant we enjoyed most (for Chinese food lovers) *Jing Binlou* 10/10 I totally recommend.
On the contrary, those from Vilnius can’t use their bus cards in Klaipeda. We needed a new bus card.

Great port town with a large estuary/lagoon harbour and wonderful beaches on the amazingly long coastal Curonian Spit and Curonian Lagoon – Klaipėda is at the northern tip. There's plenty of interesting history and architecture in the center, and short ferry rides across the channel to the forested Curonian Spit for beaches, long walks, cycle rides or tramping, as well as the same (without the Spit) north of Klaipėda. Palanga, just 30 - 40 minutes north is also interesting, with forest belt and beaches along the coast and a spa facility nearby (be prepared for large crowds during the summer holidays). Plenty of shopping malls and beautiful parks in Klaipėda too, and the council is adding more improvements/facilities constantly.

Best time to visit is during summer and early autumn while temperatures are warmer. Cash and visa/mastercards are accepted widely. Bring any kind of jacket and umbrella because it's coastal city.

Klaipeda is nice beautiful town that has a very interesting combination of architectural styles in it: at one point, you see an old building of around 19th century and then you turn around and see a port with huge modern constructions. Air there is fantastic: you literally brief the sea. The greatest part was that it took less than an hour to get to the Courish spit whose sea side and sand dunes cannot leave you unimpressed!

Klaipeda is a wonderful port, beach, resort and vacation city. Here you can find entertainment for every taste - bars, coffee houses, parks, beaches, promenades, sculptures and interesting architecture with a German taste. You can go to the Curonian Spit, where you can get lost on the endless beach, visit interesting museums, walk through the forests, have a barbecue, and also appreciate the beauty of the sand dunes by going on a trip along the winding eco-trails. It remains only to follow the vagaries of the weather and not to lose the excellent mood.

OK, so the list of options to select is too limiting when it comes to visiting Klaipeda region and the possibilities of what to do.
I first visited Klaipeda in 2005 and I have to say as someone who loves travel, nature, restaurants, wine and cocktail bars, café culture, art. Klaipeda Has come so so far.
There is something to do for everyone. I used to cycle a lot; there are kilometers of cycle and hiking routes through some fantastic bio-diverse forests.
I once saw thousands of swans on the Curonian water channel.
Beautiful sandy beaches that stretch for kilometers.
A wonderful outdoor, free, sculpture park that you could spend the afternoon in, surrounded by trees, in the middle of the city.
So much to do here. Love it.
The whole apartment was fantastic with lovely decor inside and everything was spotless, all furniture was very comfortable. It is very spacious and perfect for inviting friends to dinner and watch the huge television on the wall. All in all one of the best apartments I've ever stayed in and I'm already planning my next trip to Klaipeda in exactly the same apartment. Lovely owners and I look forward to seeing you and the apartment again, thankyou so much for a wonderful stay I loved it.
The apartment was newly renovated, everything is almost brand new - bathroom, shower, kitchen furniture. There's fridge, stove, microwave, Android tv. Really comfy beds and mattresses, which is rarely the case. The little trouble upon arrival was solved in a few minutes. The parking area is near the hotel and is closed via gate. All locks are electronic, details received via sms, so no hassle and no problems.
The hotel is located at the very central square of the city, easy access to every object worth of seeing in Klaipėda, also both the old town AND the ferry to the Smiltynė Beach. Exceptional breakfast – unexpected variety of choices, not English breakfast (bun, slice of cheese or sausage and eggs), but Swedish table (various pancakes, eggs, fruits, dairy, sausages, flakes and so on). Highly recommend!
I was very positively surprised by the room setup and comfort level. The bed was super nice. The interior was nice, no signs of wear and tear. Shower was good. I found that a kettle was provided in the small cabinet under the desk. I really appreciated that the room service visited my room to make the bed - not all hotels do that in Lithuania.
The lobby is super nice with a real fireplace.
One of the best hotels we have stayed in! Location is perfect - old town just around the corner, you can see the canal and the sea from your window. Very romantic sunsets. The room is spacious, bright, tidy and comfy. Loved the bath built in the floor. Breakfast was great and there were 2 hours of spa included in the price, but we couldnt try it this Time around. Maybe Next Time. 😊
If I could, I would give more points. The best place I have stayed in. Also comparing to fancy, expencive hotels. Close to the center, clean, quiet. Yes, wifi connection was a bit weak, but it didn't really bother me. You have everything you need also in the kitchen nook. Dishes, microwave, salt and sugar. I really liked it and will surely visit again if ever back in Klaipeda 🥰.
Hotel is situated in the very center of Klaipėda, but is shielded from the noise coming from the busiest nightlife areas by a larger building -- absolutely silent inside the room. Everything was recently renovated using top quality materials, therefore looks and feels clean, fresh and luxurious. Room and bathroom were exceptionally spacious. Really liked the breakfast.
The hotel is in an excellent location - close to the old town and the ferry crossing. Super friendly and helpful staff. Delicious and varied breakfasts - the best we have eaten in Lithuania :) Clean in the room. Absolutely dog friendly hotel. Great value for money. Access to hot and cold drinking water in the corridor. Easy check-in and check-out.
We loved the apartment and a patio it came with. It was lovely to relax on it in the evenings with some drinks. The kitchenette had everything one could possibly need, including pans and pots, a mini fridge, a hob, a kettle, cutlery and plates/cups. The hotel itself is a 10 min walk away from the ferry that takes you to Klaipeda.
The rooms are Ibis style. Location is very good for going to Curonian Split. The new ferry terminal is located next to the hotel and you might see it from a corridor or a room window. Free parking. Going to city center will require a 5-10 minutes car ride. Good breakfast. Good value for your money overall.
Very nice, quiet hotel. Breakfast was tasty. Parking area good. We got cosy room wih a balcon from top floor.(no lift, but climb up was good exercise!) Personnal was professional and nice. Good distance from centre, also by walk. Highly recommend, and sure choose this hotel again, if stay in Klaipeda!
A very nice, cozy little hotel in a perfect location - very close to Old Town. The beds were comfortable. The shower room was modern and lovely with great water pressure. The breakfast had a good selection. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay. I would return there again.
The best location in Klaipeda, people who making this place know how good design looks like, very comfy and spacious, a good mix of old and new, price was good as well.
The location is wonderful, right near the Theater Square of the old town. The staff was very helpful. There's a bar on the 1st floor where hotel guests get discounts.
It was a very bad experience at that hotel the room was very bad and small and when I asked for a change of my room they didn't answer me location, no view
