I liked the location, it was very close to the beach (only 3 min walking). Every thing was clean and the breakfast was good. Mr. Ashraf is a helpful descent man who responds to our all requests. The place is in downtown, close to the libary of Alexandia. we had a peaceful night with my partner there and being hungry in a late hour, there were many places open there to offer fast food in the street.
We checked in late but it was not a problem at the reception. Our check in was easy.

Crazy traffic and noise, dangerous to walk as a pedestrian since there are almost no traffic lights and pedestrian crossings. Uber taxis are very cheap, but most of them drive like crazy and don't have functional seatbelts at the back seats. We found the best food and view at the Greek Club, and amazing croissants at the Croissant D'Alexis! Montazah park is beautiful and offers some fantastic views away from the traffic and the noise.

Visiting town centre, with its many suks, was one of the highlights. Major sights like the Library are well known. Less so the newly renovated Greek and Roman Art Museum. Our guide didn't intend to take us there but we insisted and were very pleased that we did as it is one of the most important museums in Egypt.

Everything is great there, whatever historical places or nature or atmosphere in the downtown in the night.

There is no place to take a pleasant walk in the city or spend time except the museum and library. It is a very ruined, chaotic, noisy, dirty city with terrible traffic, so walking or hanging around is not only unpleasant but also tiring. However, its library and Greco-Roman Museum are incredibly impressive. Other museums are very ordinary. Seafood dishes are very fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. Therefore, I think 2 days are enough to visit this city; You can spend a lot of time in the library and the museum, take a coffee break in a cafe (the number of stylish ones is almost nonexistent), take a short city walk and see what looks like it and gain insight about the city and have a seafood dinner in the evening and continue on your way.

was a lovely hotel, staff all friendly, my only complaint is that everywhere you went you could smell cigarette smoke, people smoked in the lobby, and the corridors the rooms, even though my room was clearly labeled no smoking everything stunk of cigarette smoke including fresh bedding and towels. this for a smoker would be not noticed, but if like me and my daughters (all nonsmokers) it was enough to put a black cloud over the whole holiday .

I was pleasantly surprised by Alexandria.
I was pleasantly surprised by Alexandria. It is a big, bustling city, and parts of it are very dirty. However, there are so many interesting things to see, and it is pretty easy to get around, I used Uber. It’s a very interesting city, and I recommend giving it at least a few days.
Mr. Ali is a wonderful and very correct person. He was very welcoming and kind to us. At no moment he tried to make us feel uncomfortable or try to sell us any tours like most establishments do in Egypt. That made me feel at ease and relaxed. The room itself is very good and comfortable, not anything fancy, but more than enough. The pictures are very accurate. The location is perfect, you won't find anything better for that price in all of Alexandria. It is located at a walking distance from the citadel and the library.
The room we booked is not the same as the one we firstly arranged to ,so we complain and negotiate with front desk ,they eventually give us a better option .which is nice ,not sure why they don’t arrange us to the old building at first ,but the new building is not safe ,and anyone like literally anybody could go inside ,it’s really not safe ,but the second room is amazing ,we can overlook the whole church area ,just feel like back to Europe ! Whole neighborhood is quiet and peace ,which is important since it’s Egypt !
It’s only good for the hotel location, otherwise breakfast buffet was a lots of items but with a very bad taste, old materials. Also you have to give your car to the valet otherwise you will park and use the elevator to your room, but it’s not working to go back from your room to parking. Also be careful the sea, pool view is so bad, you only see the sea if you went with your face out of the balcony, so it was not worth it. I will never go there again or recommend to my friends.
This is great location 3 minutes from the promenade. Nearby there is a tram station and a supermarket. There are many coffee and restaurants in the area with middle check 50-100 pounds. The really sociable owner is always in online👍.
The room is clean and there is an amazingly comfortable desk to work with (It is very important for me). Probably the best wifi in Egypt 👍👍👍 And you have a balcony with a super view.
I really liked living here, I recommend visiting this place.
Dina is the nicest person in Alexandria! She was so welcoming! Communication was smooth. It's a room in a spacious Egyptian apartment with nice furniture, peace and quiet. Only several minutes from the centre by Uber. Dina prepares a delicious breakfast on request which you need to have a spare stomach for. I couldn't recommend more!
I m really so pleased with this great hotel all are beautiful food and room and services, receptionists are so lovely I mention Mariam she was very professional and warm in her welcoming I do recommend the hotel for all Alex visitors in addition to the amazing sea , landscape and palace with beautiful history of our Great Egypt
The hotel had welcome water and guided person even it is ran by personal. All buildings in Egypt are not renovated from out walls, but this room inside is classic Europe Style, very clean and tidy. The host is warming and we shared our stories in the old life.
The flat is really clean and has really exceptional views. Probably the best place we stayed in Egypt. The manager was really accommodating allowing to leave our bags and the staff were very supportive. I recommend the place
Best hostel so far in Egypt, nice atmosphere, good organisation, very kind people working there, Hamss, Bishou, Mirna and Omar, the breakfast was good, they good value of money.
I totally recommend people to got there
The staff were nice, especially Ms. Rehab, the Public Relations Officer. I also liked that there were no alcoholic beverages, and for the first time in an Egyptian hotel, there were a Quran, and a prayer mat.
Amazing Staff that take care of everything in detail, with kindness and politness. It's everything you would expect from a Hilton Hotel, with the joy and smile of the Egyptian People.
Of all the budget accommodations that I booked in Egypt this was by far the cleanest...very friendly staff, good wifi, comfortable room...very good value indeed!
