The location is great but the problem is the 3 hour drive from Dallas across the very winding road across the hills I think the drive from HCM is more straightforward but twice as long but around 3hours 30 Minutes. I'd go back but only when the Phan Thiet airport opens in 2025. Next tim I would stay Mui Ne side of Phan Thiet

As a Vietnamese, I found the food prices are reasonable (it is not cheap but the food is worth the money). Not as busy as Mui Ne which is very favourable because all I needed was a great break from crowd! Phan Thiet town is less busy as compared to Ho Chi Minh City and there are laid back cafes and I love the Lotte Mart (which you can find almost everything there).

Quite a bit Hotel development is happening here regardless I think its more for locals some restaurants have english menus and it still has its charm and good local sea food. Most International Guest would go to Mui Ne Beach therefore you get good value for money in not to overcrowded Beach in Phan Thiet.

Personnaly, I have never seen a place with a better variety of flowers and plants. They would actually fall off the plants and onto the walkway, giving you a greeting everytime you walked. Mix that in with the sound and view of the ocean...wow! Would I recommend this place to anyone? In a heartbeat, yes!!
