Nice location, smooth check in, nice room, very quiet
We stayed to visit my brother in Michener Centre. We took him to the Collicutt Centre which is fully accessible for people in wheelchairs in the pools. The Collicutt Centre provides wheelchairs to be taken into the water. There is a hot pool for people in wheelchairs and a hot pool for more able bodied people. It is also fully accessible for people in wheelchairs at Gaetz Memorial United Church. On the whole Red Deer is progressive for people with disabilities.

We were in town for me to compete in the Spartan race.
We were in town for me to compete in the Spartan race. We did not know it was Westerner days which was a great bonus. We got to eat some fair food and went to a great local restaurant. Red Deer is great.

Red Deer is an unknown gem of a mini-vacation.
Red Deer is an unknown gem of a mini-vacation. There's lots of things to keep you busy, from quiet pursuits (Fort Normandeau, the migratory bird sanctuary, parks, etc) to much more active pursuits like the BMX trials, the air show and concerts that we heard about when we were there. It's got loads of shopping in less crowded spaces as well as many specialty shops if that's your thing. Great restaurants and access to many prairie gems as well. We love Red Deer as a weekend haunt.

Very nice small city. Very easy to drive around.
Very nice small city. Very easy to drive around. Lots of green areas with walking and cycling paths. All the same amenities, restaurants and retail outlets as a larger city but without the headaches of the congested traffic.

If you are attending the CFR at the Centrium in Red deer,...
If you are attending the CFR at the Centrium in Red deer, this hotel is a two minute drive with clean, quiet, comfortable rooms equipped with exceptional bed, coffee maker, microwave, fridge and free Wifi. The basic continental breakfast is fresh and tasty, but a large variety of dining options are available adjacent to the hotel in both directions, many within walking distance. Easy access from Highway 2 and convenient free parking. A definite gem at a reasonable price!
So far, there hasn't been anything nice to say about this. The people that were to stay at the hotel did not feel safe. We are been charged for a room that no one stayed at even though hotel staff were told neither room was being used. This is very disheartening as I have stayed at Super 8 hotels at other places, and have never heard of such issues. This paints a bad picture for the hotel and Bookings.com.
The service was wonderful, the rooms quiet and the beds extremely comfortable. We had the best free hot breakfast ever. Freshly made, tasty and generous in portions. We have stayed in many different hotels in Red Deer and other places over the years. and this hotel was by far the best value. It also was walking distance to our favourite restaurant.
I was very impressed with this motel. The rooms were very nicely appointed. They were clean. They had a large fridge. And a fireplace. The bed has foam mattresses that were quite comfortable. The room was well worth the budget price.. I will book here next time I am staying in Red Deer. Kudos to the staff and management at this motel.!
I have had a previous stay so i was excited about stayin at this hotel. And because it holds major sentimental memories with my LATE ex true love of my life. I was wanting this because he passed away 1 year ago. We celebrated my brilthdsy here 2 years ago next week and was the last tkme we were together to celebrate a birthday.
We stayed for 3 nights. The value was unmatched with any competitor. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. The room was clean and very nice. They have a hot Continental Breakfast that was continually filled. I would recommend staying at this Hotel. Will stay there again, on our next trip.
Free breakfast, nice coffee and muffins. The location is away from the downtown but transportation in this city is great, you can rent Neuron or Bird scooters, pick one a few meters of the hotel and go whenever you want.
The room size was larger than expected. The service from the staff was exceptional. The restaurants had good food and large portions but needed better hours. The hotel was clean, not noisy and had plenty of parking.
The lady helped my kids make their waffles and pancakes. Very patient, accommodating and kind.
Front desk was top shelf
With one phone call management made sure our stay was perfect
Best hotel in Red Deer
the staff were amazing! greeted with a smile and were soooo very helpful over the phone ! it was absolutely exceptional service . I’ve stayed in more expensive hotels and didn’t get as good customer service !
Breakfast was adequate. With the high price of food, all hotels where I have stayed have made cuts in the complementary breakfast however the breakfast was reasonable in my opinion.
Very clean and comfortable. Great value for your money. The lady at reception was so sweet. The price even includes breakfast. Right on gasoline alley so very easy to get to.
I did not get breakfast there.
I plan to come to red deer in November and I will have breakfast.
Great place to stay and very friendly staff.
Amazing 🤩
The staff is amazing. Anna’s at the front desk was such a nice lady and made my check in really great after another hotel canceled our room without notice
