The location was good.
Staff were friendly and very helpful with trying to book bus tickets online. Even they couldn't get it to work, as the online system does not take foreign credit cards. Had to go to the bus stop to buy tickets.
Walking distance to Hanok village, mural town, top of the mountain where Buddha sits and other attractions. Nice Chinese restaurant next door. Bus stop down the road if required.
Towels were changed daily, and they were BIG bath towels. 🤗

The hotel has great service and accommodated our late arrival after midnight. The rooms were clean and the staff members were very courteous. We booked rooms that included breakfast and after selecting our options the night before, they delivered the food to our room at the decided time.

Jeonju has a nice preserved hanok hood, however, it is clearly gentrifying quickly and prepared for massive tourism. The rest of the city has little interest. One afternoon to walk in the hanoks and dine should be enough.

Really neat experience to get an idea about traditional Korean architecture and clothes. Obviously, the town has modernized to have coffee shops, etc., but the buildings in the city center have been maintained in a traditional style, and the popularity of renting the traditional Korean clothing lends a unique atmosphere.
We visited the Shrine, highly recommended. Nothing exotic, but good information about that time in Korean history and some of the events that made Jeonju what it is.
Some really great restaurants, look up best places to eat in Jeonju, we tried 3 out of the top 10 and were super pleased with all 3.
The traditional Hanok was a unique place to stay that was an inexpensive way to experience a little of what traditional homes were like. Obviously converted to hotel-type rooms, but the idea was there and it was a fun way to spend a weekend.
Highly Recommend!!

This was a really great opportunity to experience a historic aspect of South Korea. I enjoyed staying in a Hanok and I did a photoshoot in the Hanbok. It was like walking around on the set of a period piece.

Jeonju Hanok Village is a really nice place to visit, don't hesitate to get lots in the small narrow streets. Take half a day to visit Jamal Mural Village, it worth it for the paintings on the houses.
To eat I would recommand Jeondong Ddeokgalbi and Veteran restaurants, first one for bibimbap and 2nd for noodles and dumplings.

Nice mid sized city with a bit of open space along the river. Jeonju Hanok Village is worth a visit. Real touristy place but loads of people dressed in Hanbok so great place for people watching. Plenty of touristy souvenir shops if thats your thing. Plenty of Westeners and Chinese tourists dressed up in Hanboks which added to the people watching experience.

The Hanok Village is awesome and the Rail Bike as well.
The Hanok Village is awesome and the Rail Bike as well. It's very quiet and the public transpo is not really that accessible if you stay in The Hanok Village. Most of the restaurants are closing earlier.
Breakfast was incredible - traditional Korean and all vegetarian. Out of our comfort zones as we're used to European breakfasts but it was actually really good. Also, the bed is much more comfortable than we thought. It was soft and not hard at all. The heated floor is also nice - the room also has AC so it can be as hot/cold as you want. The shower is also good. The staff are also really nice and helpful. The location is perfect as the hanok village is beautiful.
Very typical Hanok accommodation in Jeonju, in a very good location, great to explore the Hanok village area.
The room is clean and comfortable with everything you need - good hairdryer, great shower, bath amenities...
The bed is a futton, so not the most comfortable ever, but extremely clean and comfy bed sheets.
I also enjoyed the restaurant recommendations they sent.
Really nice guesthouse.
The Hanok villages and most tourist attractions from Jeonju are just 10min around by foot.
You can as well take several buses to go further away.
The location is really perfect.
The room was clean and the owner was wonderful (showed us how and we're to see around and even tip us where to go eat. He also got good English)
Located in the quiet part of hanok village, but within walking distance to everything u might need. The host is very nice, friendly and helpful. Gave us recommendation of restaurants and places to visit, checked on us when we just arrived in the city and even offered to call taxi for us to go to the bus station. Pleasant hanok stay experience.
Guesthouse owner was so kind to let me change my stay 1 night shorter and welcomed me with big apples and a pear. The room and bathroom were clean. Loved the shampoo and conditioner provided. Location is right in the center of the Hanok Village. Great value for the price. Will stay again if given the chance to come back to Jeonju.
-the location is great, not noisy at all
- the owners were sooo kind and friendly. He showed us the recommended places to visit around Hanok Village and told us some nice restaurants with local food. we tried the bibimbab and beansprout rice soup, both were good!
- the facilities were good!
- the room was warm enough even in winter
Owner was very friendly. Shared with us places to visit and good places to eat in half-koran half English. Room for 4 was spacious and big. The room was clean as well. Location is right in the hanok village, a very pretty place with lots of good food nearby. Owner also gladly helped us to book a taxi back to jeonju train station.
Fantastic central location making it walking distance to everything in Jeonju Hanok Village. Hosts were super welcoming and let us check in early! We were also impressed with the quantity of breakfast with fruits, black sesame porridge, toast and fried eggs. A great one night stay!
Excellent location near the hanok village parking lot and tourist information center, yet right in the heart of the village. Walking distance to everything in town. Kind and thoughtful staff that went above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and comfortable.
Very nice location in the Jeonju ‘s hanok village
The host was very nice he gave us a lot of recommandation restaurants, emblematic places to visit and some advice
He helped us to go to our next location
He speaks English !
Great experience of hanok
It's a small, clean, comfortable room a couple minutes walk from the traditional hanok village and faces a beautiful river perfect for long walks. Host is very pleasant and helpful and the floor heating kept me cozy in the extremely cold weather.
This is a fabulous little Hanok in Jeonju. Exceptionally clean and quiet. Contact person was very friendly and gave instructions on where to find him for check-in. Certainly, a great little place to stay if visiting the Hanok Village.
Heated floors were great.
Very rustic and traditional look.
Walking distance of Hanok Village, Omokdae, Jeonju Hyanggyo, Gyeonggijeon, Jaman Mural Village, shopping areas, Pungnammun, Jeondong Cathedral, and Nambu Markets
The host is very fast response and accommodative. It’s a value for money, I got every necessary things needed. Close to the hanok village and the bus stop. Overall I was satisfied with the place.
The hotel was quite fancy with helpful staff, a big comfy room, comfy shower and great shower. It was great value for money and a short walk to Jeonju Hanok Village.
