The hotel has great service and accommodated our late arrival after midnight. The rooms were clean and the staff members were very courteous. We booked rooms that included breakfast and after selecting our options the night before, they delivered the food to our room at the decided time.

Jeonju is a great place to visit for the traditional Hanok Village. Everything is in an easily walkable area if you stay in the visit or come in for the day. There are plenty of things to see, including “hidden” areas one of the free tours will show you.

Jeonju has a nice preserved hanok hood, however, it is clearly gentrifying quickly and prepared for massive tourism. The rest of the city has little interest. One afternoon to walk in the hanoks and dine should be enough.

Really neat experience to get an idea about traditional Korean architecture and clothes. Obviously, the town has modernized to have coffee shops, etc., but the buildings in the city center have been maintained in a traditional style, and the popularity of renting the traditional Korean clothing lends a unique atmosphere.
We visited the Shrine, highly recommended. Nothing exotic, but good information about that time in Korean history and some of the events that made Jeonju what it is.
Some really great restaurants, look up best places to eat in Jeonju, we tried 3 out of the top 10 and were super pleased with all 3.
The traditional Hanok was a unique place to stay that was an inexpensive way to experience a little of what traditional homes were like. Obviously converted to hotel-type rooms, but the idea was there and it was a fun way to spend a weekend.
Highly Recommend!!

This was a really great opportunity to experience a historic aspect of South Korea. I enjoyed staying in a Hanok and I did a photoshoot in the Hanbok. It was like walking around on the set of a period piece.

Jeonju Hanok Village is a really nice place to visit, don't hesitate to get lots in the small narrow streets. Take half a day to visit Jamal Mural Village, it worth it for the paintings on the houses.
To eat I would recommand Jeondong Ddeokgalbi and Veteran restaurants, first one for bibimbap and 2nd for noodles and dumplings.

Nice mid sized city with a bit of open space along the river...
Nice mid sized city with a bit of open space along the river. Jeonju Hanok Village is worth a visit. Real touristy place but loads of people dressed in Hanbok so great place for people watching. Plenty of touristy souvenir shops if thats your thing. Plenty of Westeners and Chinese tourists dressed up in Hanboks which added to the people watching experience.
The location is perfect, right in the hanok village, the room was a good size for either a solo traveller or a close couple. The underfloor "Ondol" heating was excellent, the floor was really warm and it kept the room at 18 to 19 degrees celcius when it was zero outside, the room also came with a wall mounted heater/AC unit and an oil filled plug in radiator, I didn't need either of those. Decent bathroom with a high tech bidet toilet, typical of most South Korean hotels. The host gave good restaurant recommendations.
Starlight is a lovely traditional hanok guest house and is close to everything. The rooms are not large, but everything is extremely clean and the owners go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We have a very picky eating kid, and the breakfast was great, which is unusual in Korean hotels/guest houses in our experience. It's also close to everything. You can walk to basically everything in Jeonju and they offer parking right by the house as well.
Cozy room in the center of Jeonju's Hanok village (the location to explore the area is perfect, close to everything!). Rooms is comfortable, spacious, and very clean. The place is a typical, beautiful hanok house, the owner is very friendly and polite, breakfast is good and served with room service, which is quite nice. Good value for money, in general highly recommended.
It was an excellent experience in hanok dream (kkum). The host, Mr Choi is very friendly and helpful. He explained everything in detail about Hanok Village, including what to see and what to eat. He even made personalize arrangement by putting our national flag in the room. The room was clean and comfortable, even for 4 person without lyggage. Overall it was exceptional.
Everything was just perfect. The place is amazing, it’s traditional Korean Hanok, located close to everything, but in a very quiet area.
The owner is very nice and helpful, he will provide you all the details about Jeonju, what to see and where to eat. I will definitely come back.
Very nice location in the Jeonju ‘s hanok village
The host was very nice he gave us a lot of recommandation restaurants, emblematic places to visit and some advice
He helped us to go to our next location

Great experience of hanok
Beautiful Hanok located in Jeonju Hanok Village.
Amazing, super friendly and helpful host.
Incredible experience of staying at the traditional Korean House and feeling like a kdrama character.
Close to many cafes and restaurants.
Strategic location, located literally at the center of the hanok village. Near to bus stop too. If you come to Jeonju by bus from seoul, the bus station also not very far from the hanok village. With taxi only cost 8000KRW.
The location is excellent, in the middle of Jeonju's Hanok village. The place is beautiful and offers an authentic stay, with a futon-style type of bed. The place is very calm and clean. The host is nice and helpful.
Very comfortable hotel on a great location to visit Jeonju (Hanok village, many great restaurants, etc). The room was very clean and bathroom Incl bidet toilet is great. Free parking onsite is a plus.
I really enjoyed my authentic hanok experience in Jeonju. The owner was very kind and allowed early check-in. 😊 The room is well-maintained and very clean. The location is superb and easy to find.
Perfect place to stay during visit Hanok Village Jeonju. Nice room with new bathroom. Very nice owner that accepts early check in. We have great memory from this magical place and friendly people.
The staff was super friendly and accomodating - felt higher than a 3-star service for sure! The location is what makes this hotel - the view of the hanok village from the rooftop pool is gorgeous!
kind owner, fresh and delicious Korean style breakfast, located at the center of Hanok village, nice, cozy, and quiet room. I recommend anyone who would visit Jeonju!
