Vintage style was highliy appreciated. It made us to think we were in novel, in the history. Location was perfect. Staff reminded my visit that i had done 9 years ago :), so staff was perfect. I definitely advice everyone to stay at this hotel, especially for the people who loves nostalgia and vintage style.

Kavala is a great Aegean port town, not too little, not too big. It offers an amazing value for travelers since it has great bars, cafes and restaurants at a very reasonable price. It has something for everyone, history, culture, shopping, cuisine. There are some luxury places and some cheap (yet very good) places. In the summer also offers easily accessible beaches.

A great city!
A great city! The old town is beautiful and the views of the city are amazing! The center is easily walkable and the shops combine both big chains as well as small local shops, so everyone can find what they are looking for. There are a myriad of options for coffee or food. We had the best fish in Kavala!
Lastly, the beaches were by far the best in Northern Greece, with fine sand and crystal clear waters! All in all, it is definitely worth a visit!

A beautiful city with picturesque town planning.
A beautiful city with picturesque town planning. An interesting piece of history. Variety of shops, delicious food, fresh seafood. Fresh fruits and vegetables. Every Saturday there is a large market in the city with agricultural products of producers from the region.
Parking problems. Not enough parking spaces. There are only three paid parking lots in the central part. One of them is by the port, which is quite far from the city center.
The hotel was very nice, with a beautiful port and sea view, big room with new furniture, and a swimming pool on the top floor. The breakfast was very generous and tasty, and the staff was very helpful. The location was super central, close to the main street and to the old town. Definitely recommend!
ps: If you stay in Kavala, highly recommend Ammofoloi beach - less than 30 minutes away by car - crystal clear water, soft sand and great beach bars :)
This is from the bottom of my heart.
Zero Spot and our host Yiannis is the best we have ever stayed at.
Yiannis, you are the best.
Zero Spot is a dream for grown up couples with everything, bars, coffee, restaurants within a few steps from the flat.
3 steps to the left and you have the best Cappuccino in town.
Kavala is a dream, like Nice but smaller.
You will enjoy Zero Spot, but take care so we can enjoy it for years to come
very clean room, I was in more than 70 different accommodations in Greece last 3 decades, this was one of the cleanest. Very good sleeping, no noise during the night. Church bells wakes me each morning, what I liked a lot. Always free parking on the street. Perfect accommodation for single travelers in Kavala, especially for those who come by car.
1) The hotel is at the center of Kavala, walking distance to everywhere you need, to the castle, to the old town etc.
2) We've booked three rooms with sea views, and the panoramic view is perfect as the castle and the harbour we can see. Rooms are comfortable and big with a balcony
3) The breakfast is so enough and delicious
Location and accessibility to the beaches outside Kavala. The city itself is a mess for tourists, but the premises are not bad at all. Carefully, practically and patiently organized and clean premises. Quite neighbourhood where one can easily feel as part of the local community. Right choice for the price.
The view of the place was great.
The rooms were very clean.
The place has a very beautiful garden.
There is no parking problem, you can park your car in the private parking area in the garden.
We will definitely visit again on our next visit to Kavala. Thanks for the cakes :)
The hotel is new and very clean. The rooms are big and comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped&clean. There was Coffee, wine and water. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. Parking is not a problem. Very silent region nearby two good restaurants and beach.
Flexible, friendly staff at reception. Room does it, location of the hotel is really central and fun for people looking for entertainment closeby. Short walk to the old town of Kavala, same for the harbour and for instance bus station.
The location was fantastique. The people were the best. The night from the terrace of the restaurant with a wonderful view of the bay and the whole city impressed us and I consider this city the Monte Carlo of Greece.
it was very clean and ready to stay. before we arrived greece the householder contact us and gave all the information detailed. we smoothly checked in. she even left a bottle of drink for us. that was very kind of her.
The staff was amazingly nice! They are attitude really compliments the boutique look and style of the hotel.
Also they gave us pomegranate juice as a welcome drink and some traditional cookies as a farewell gift.
We loved out stay in Anthemion. It is a boutique hotel right in the center of Kavala. Facilities were modern and comfortable, breakfast was great and, more important, people were amazing. We felt really welcome.
As always the stay in the Esperia hotel is a nice experience!
