Hotel Bristol, hotel in Mostar

Hotel Bristol is located in central Mostar, next to Tito's Bridge, on the banks of the Neretva River. It offers rooms with air conditioning, satellite TV, and free wired internet.

When we booked the room available was a suite - even allowing for that, we were amazed by how enormous it was. There was an entrance hall as well as two large (very large in one case) bedrooms. The location was good - convenient for the bus station and a 10 minute walk to the old town and a nice view over the river. The staff were friendly and efficient.

Hotel Sinan Han, hotel in Mostar

Hotel Sinan Han is located in Mostar, 100 metres from Old Bridge Mostar. Guests can relax on the motel's rooftop terrace and enjoy the views of the city.

This hotel was excellent, the location is ideal for exploring the old town as it is less than a 5 minute walk and the room had everything we needed (including a fridge which was very useful). The terrace has lovely views of the city and was ideal to sit and relax before we had to leave. The breakfast was only an extra €7 per person and definitely worth it as it was great and had lots of variety. The stand out factor were the staff who were very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We stayed in two hotels during our stay in Mostar due to lack of availability of rooms for our whole stay and while both were very nice this is the one I would recommend.

Super cozy town to wander through. Nice little shops with handmade products, many restaurants and café with cheap food and drink. Just avoid the cafee under the bridge called Eko co. Worst service and bad coffee - not autenthic Bosnian. Super expensive.

Mostar is a captivating city that embodies a unique blend of historical gravitas and scenic charm, making it a must-visit destination in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Nestled along the picturesque Neretva River, the city is famed for its iconic Stari Most (Old Bridge), a stunning example of Islamic architecture in the Balkans and a UNESCO World Heritage site. This historic bridge, beautifully reconstructed after the war, provides a symbolic connection between the city's diverse cultural and religious communities. Visitors can explore the cobbled streets of the Old Bazaar, where traditional craft shops and quaint cafes offer a taste of local life and hospitality. The Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque is another highlight, offering panoramic views of the city from its minaret. Also FORTICA is the best place to see Mostar from the hill, highly recommend take taxi 1km per Kilometre… ask driver for pick up later or walk down. Mostar also serves as a gateway to explore the region's natural beauty. Nearby attractions include the emerald waters of the Kravica Waterfall and the serene Blagaj Tekija, a Dervish monastery nestled against a cliff beside the Buna River, which is perfect for a peaceful afternoon outing and Pocitelj ahistorical place! With its rich history, stunning architecture, and warm, welcoming atmosphere, Mostar is truly a jewel worth exploring. Each corner of the city offers new delights and a chance to step back in time while enjoying the vibrant local culture. Best place to eat and value for money: - Cernica chevabdzinca, (a hidden gem) mix grill platter 40km in Cernica street, also Rodjeni Pie shop. - Best Pizza (cappricioza my fav) in Nidze Veze in Boulevar opposite the Catholic church. - Asdzinica Saraj by the Karadzozbeg Mosque, best to eat early between 10-12am, best traditional food reasonable prices Malta - outside Mostar on the way to Blagaj fabulous food reasonable priced

Even in spring, the famous bridge attracts an awful lot of tourists in the day and early evening, so do bear this in mind and be patient. However it is definitely worth seeing (best from the river) and if the weather is good do wait for the locals jumping off the bridge - this takes place about every 30-minutes. If you're on the bridge the divers may ask if can make a contribution. don't overlook the rest of the town and you can still see traces of the civil war if you walk further out. Sadly, someone removed the Bruce Lee statue, only the pedestal remains. Highly recommend train journey between Mostar and Sarajevo.

This is a great small town with lots of things to do, whether it is exploring the old town or hiking on of the several hills nearby. The food is amazing and affordable. And one of the hills, Fortica, has a great observation deck and a zipline. But keep in mind, that lots of places are closed on Sundays.

24 hours is about right if you get there in the morning. This way, you can see the Old Town in the morning, sunset and after dark. Most tourists left by late afternoon, so it was nice to walk around with less of a crowd.

Fantastic hotel with all that you need for a short stay in mostar. Excellent location to see the stari most. Literally across the road and short walk down to the old town. Shops and other necessities are all off the main boulevard. Very clean and modern furnishings. We had a large room that was comfortable to move around in and had all the essentials. Very clean hotel with nice architecture. We stayed at the building across the man building and our room was facing the river . So it was very quite and peaceful. The old stone building had a nice modern touch with nice furniture. We paid extra 6 Euros for each person for breakfast and it was an amazing breakfast for the price. We also had lunch and I think they also run one of the best restaurants in Mostar (trout was very fresh and delicious). All staff at the front desk was super helpful (special thanks to Velid and Ena...).

Even though we only stayed for a night, it was quite a pleasant stay because of its proximity to the old town of Mostar. It's ideal for light sleepers because the place itself is peaceful but one can reach the bustling heart of the city within a few minutes without having to sacrifice a good night sleep. Parking can be quite challenging in Mostar this is why we found it very convenient to have our own parking spot right next to the hotel. Would certainly recommend this to anyone visiting Mostar!

Impeccably clean, wonderful views over the Neretva River in the heart of Mostar, and a well furnished kitchen, as well as a sunny balcony made the apartment at Guest House City Star one of the very best places I've stayed during several months of traveling in the Balkans. The hosts are friendly and on the days they are around will make a great cup of Bosnian coffee for you, and when I asked for a corkscrew, the host delivered it along with a wonderful bottle of Hercegovian wine.

The host's Zerina and her family are typical example of the Bosnian hospitality-open, welcoming and helpful! Each room has its own AC and is spotless clean. Less then 10 minutes walk you are in the old town Mostar - the Old Bridge. The neighbourhood is peaceful and quiet that allows you a good nights rest after wandering all throughout the beautiful nature of Bosnia. Very close to Fabrica Mostar, a cafe with iced coffee and a garden which is great for working remotely and outdoor.
