The location was fantastic and the water pressure on the shower was great.

Staff and location. We appreciated having a kitchen and laundry available. Since it can be spendy eating out 2-3 meals a day, we cooked a store-bought frozen lasagna for dinner one night, saving us time and money.

Breakfast…
Very cheap food for the type of lodge. Next door at Miller’s landing you had great coffee and a selection of food for vegan, veg…
Today people that travel to this type of lodge want real eggs, fresh fruits, more variety.

Self contained was convenient. Ability to store luggage for a couple of hours was helpful. Staff were very friendly on the phone.

We were on a short trip to see an art exhibit at a wonderful coffee house. We also browsed around the shops and enjoyed a great First Friday Art Walk and dinner at the Flamingo. It was a delightful weekend. Seward has much more to offer for a longer stay. The views of the mountains and the sea are stunning.

Seward is a nice small town.
Seward is a nice small town. We went during the off season. a lot of things where closed or had limited hours during our trip. We missed out on a few items we would have liked to check out but there was still plenty to do in the area. Recommend a wildlife boat tour, we had a blast and still saw a lot of wildlife so early in the year. The Alaska Sea Life Center is a must see any time.

Hotel was well situated in a retail area with many options for food, ice cream, coffee and and drinks. The views of the harbor and access to it were great and right out the back door. The complimentary breakfast was good with both hot and cold items.

Lots of construction driving to/from Seward from Anchorage, so it took way longer than we had anticipated. It was a cute town and we enjoyed our 8.5 hour glacier cruise. I would definitely take a shorter cruise. Fox Island was a great part of our cruise.

Seward is a charming waterfront town with plenty of good restaurants and things to do. We took two incredible boat tours with Kenai Ford Tours; they were fabulous. There is plenty of hiking, and the city is nestled between mountains. Seward is the kind of place you hate to leave.

Highly recommend coming to take a glacier tour, whale watch, hike or to take children to the aquatic life center. Nice, locally owned galleries and shops with friendly keepers. Easy to get around and can access local parks and walking trails with close by parking.
This is a new hotel being ran by John and his wife. John was amazing at fixing our reservation mix up and provided great local recommendations on places to eat, hike, and things to do around town. New establishment with keyless entry, fully equipped kitchen, big flat screen and comfy bed and bath. Great quiet location new food and drink options, but set apart in the woods. Vert conveniently located to all things in Seward and surrounding area.
No toilet paper in the room. One bath towel for a family of four (we got a suite). Sink had a crack, so water spilled on the floor when it was 1/4 full.
Staff were like zombies. Barely responsive, never apologetic, though I will admit that none of us were eaten.
Maybe this hotel was cheap by Seward standards, but not by any other standard. The place has a lot of charm (I loved the decor), but they need to get their stuff together.
Location was quiet but close to Seward port/downtown.
Hotel and room was very functional and included all the amenities we needed during the stay - microwave & coffee bar in lobby, restaurant on the property with good vegetarian options, hair dryer and fridge in the room, and coat hangers. The room was spacious with 2 queen beds and included a small patio. Overall very clean and functional hotel that I would recommend in Seward!
Harborview Inn is an excellent alternative to the over-priced hotels in Seward. The room is super clean, cozy, with a nice view of the mountains, and has very strong wi-fi. Excellent localization, short distance to the harbour and to downtown, and there’s a shuttle stop just the other side of the street. The manager ( Mary) is a kind person, and tries to do her best for you. I’d certainly recomnend the Harborview Inn to anyone.
I was pleasantly surprised by how well this property is being maintained. It is one of the newest hotels in Seward and has most amenities that travelers might need. We had been on road for a while with one night stays at multiple hotels so never had time to do the laundry. This place has a clean laundry facility for guest which we utilized. Additionally, they had one of the better breakfast I have seen at hotels in a while.
I think it is a good price for Seward. It is less than a mile to the tours and less than a mile to the restaurants. I dropped off the car and walked quickly to the dock. Then after dinner, some people walked back to the hotel. The hotel was clean. For Alaska 9/10 clean. For a $250 city hotel I'm sure you can find things to complain about. No fuss, normal motel style.
Breakfast was good. The owners of Resurrection Bay were super nice, but we didn't get to stay at their lodge. Rather, we were put in the apartments next store which they manage. The apartments next store are not worth the price. Our unit smelled like mothballs and the heat did not work in the unit. We had to use a space heater.
Lovely place to stay in Barrow. Beautiful home with Inuit art. Very comfortable, clean room. Hosts very helpful and welcoming. Good breakfast. Unless you need to stay in the big hotel or the one near the airport, this is far more home-like and personal. Only about a ten-fifteen minute walk to center of town.
This hotel is located very close to the main street (Seward is not big so basically everything is within walking distance) and close to the aquarium (which is worth visiting). The room was big and clean (it's a suite, so there's a kitchen you can use as well), the staff was very accommodating and helpful.
This is the best hotel in Seward if you have kids. The pool is a big draw. But the harbor side location and the balconies that overlook it are also a plus. The free breakfast is also very good. Do yourself a favor and skip the pancake machine for the toaster Belgian waffles. They are delicious.
Such a great place to stay! Our cabin was right next to the beautiful creek. The room was spacious, clean, and beds were new and very comfortable. The cabin was located a short walk from the restroom and showers. Both restroom and showers were very clean. Our host Brandon was awesome.
The Breeze is one of only a few hotels open in the winter in Seward, so we are grateful that they are there to provide that service. The Breeze has been a Seward staple for many years, since before I was born. I could not imagine the Seward harbor without the Breeze Inn.
We liked the historical value of the hotel, and what really made the whole visit work was George. I hope they are paying him a lot, because he saved the stay with his attitude, resourcefulness and pleasant personality. The location is perfect for walking around Seward.
The staff members were great and very helpful and pleasant. The hotel is in a great location in downtown Seward, which was very nice as Seward is a very cute town versus staying in the marina/rail depot area. Appreciated the free roundtrip train depot pickup.
This motel doesn't offer much in the way of extras, but it does offer clean rooms, reasonable location near the boat harbour and good value for your money -- in relation to other hotels in Seward. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Little cute cabins! The environment was perfect and relaxed. Close to Seward, to minutes by car. Breakfast and a very well equipped kitchen is provided. Excellent
