The Residence Inn was a great choice for us in Vail. The hotel has all the amenities you need for your ski trip. Their shuttle service to Vail Village is very convenient and runs every 15 minutes until 10pm. Parking is great! Without knowing too much about other hotels in Vail, I think it is an excellent option in terms of price/benefit without ever feeling like a low-cost hotel (which it is not). 100% recommended.

It is all about the skiing for most people, and the Vail ski resort is amazing. Hard to beat as a ski destination. It is generally a very expensive place to stay but there are many options available to you.
As a town, feels a bit disjointed with the two main locations of Vail Village and Lionshead being separated. If you come without your own transport, get used to having to take buses/shuttles most places. Having said that, the transport system is incredibly good once you work it all out. Lots of places to eat, moreso in Vail Village.
As it is also under Epic Pass, easy to ski Beaver Creek during your stay in Vail, with a great (free) bus service mostly every 20 mins from Vail to BC and only takes about half an hour. It is a shame that the same is not available for Breckenridge, another Epic resort.

Amazing mountain!
Amazing mountain! You can’t beat the vastness of this mountain. There is something for everyone and every level of skiing.
The village is awesome with plenty of restaurants and shops. I would avoid this place on busy holiday weekends.

We visited during the autumn when the aspen colors were at their peak. Incredible views everywhere. Nice warm sun and cool nights. Village was pretty quiet as it was "between seasons" which made for a very relaxing visit, with no waits for restaurants, etc. Very easy to walk around the public areas.

Vail is a beautiful and extreemly well mantained town.
Vail is a beautiful and extreemly well mantained town. It is a credit to the locals who seem to take great pride in their town. It has the benefit natural beauty with its surrounding mountains. The free electric bus service that teavels around the town is a great way to see the sights including the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens which are well worth a visit .

Amazing location right in the middle of Vail Village. Being able to walk out the door and wander around was lovely. Had some parking available, but even the public garage wasn’t far. The breakfast was a nice touch with great Denver burritos. Clean, large rooms with shared balconies. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We loved our creek view!
We stayed 1 night in Vail on the way back from Moab to Denver..the hotel is beautiful, clean, close to the village! Some construction but it did not affect our stay. The bar and restaurant were very nice. Front desk staff was polite and helpful. As far as value expect everything in Vail to be pricey! Vail is beautiful would definitely stay again!
We loved the Hotel atmosphere and accommodations. The Staff was exceptional! Very courteous, attentive, friendly and helpful. The hotel location was perfect; locate close to all the restaurants and shops but not right in the middle so we weren't near any extra noise.
The location is excellent and the restaurant has the best breakfast with excellent service. The pool area is darling and the spa staff and services are spot on! Beds are very comfortable with great room amenities. The spa pool off to the side of the hotel was lovely.
First floor room was convenient Unit was pretty clean except for the piece of waffle in the bedroom closet. Close enough to the club house. Sauna, pool and hot tubs were good. Bus stop was convenient. Close enough to Vail village if driving a car.
Cosy and very clean unit with walking distance to Gondola. The bed was comfortable, and the unit is even equipped with sauna room. However, we were packed with functions/activities, and had no time to enjoy it and the pool in the hotel.
The location is absolutely perfect: for skiing and enjoying the Village
The personnel: friendly, helpful, attentive; especially the concierge
The accommodation: lovely, cozy, clean, including common areas
Great little hotel in the heart of Vail Village. Nice comfortable and quiet room, friendly and helpful staff, good on-the-go breakfast, and we made use of their convenient bicycle storage room.
Great location! Very convenient, right near Lionshead. Close to the library and the free city bus with Excellent access to Vail center and Bravo Vail. Love the pool and the BBQ communal area.
Vail Village location is excellent. European continental breakfast was just fine. Nice service/friendly foreign college students. Pepi’s has the best deck for people watching in the Village.
We love staying at Vail Run Resort! It’s close to lionshead and vail village. The hotel shuttle is super convenient and it’s such a laid back, feels like home type place!
The location, facilities, room size, the outdoor spas, the games room, the ease of access for ski gear and rental. So many things we loved about The Sebastian!
