Our room was very spacious and had a nice storage area for a suitcase and a holder for another suitcase. It was great that there was a door directly to the outside, so we could easily bring our luggage in. The common area was comfortable and full of interesting books, plus a fireplace that we didn't take advantage of. The hosts were welcoming and friendly.

This was a true highlight of our road trip around Canada's east coast. The hotel is a hidden gem, set in a magnificent location with stunning views across the fjord and a lovely village to wander around (including one of the nicest boutiques and art shops we encountered on our trip just along the road!). The room was just as pictured and extremely comfortable, with a lovely selection of complementary toiletries. Staff were so kind and friendly, and the food was wonderful - I'd highly recommend attending for the four course dinner, which was excellent value for the quality and totally delicious. Breakfast was also brilliant! Can't recommend it enough if you're in the area - well worth the trip.

The chalet was very cosy and surrounded by trees which was lovely. We used the hot tub and it was very pleasant after a long days hike! The kitchen was big and well equipped.

Nice bed. Coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge, cornflax and milk present in the room. More than sufficient towels. Check-in was easy.

Nice little town near the fjord park. The town’s quay on the fjord is pretty and just a few km from the highway. Auberge du Jardin is recommended for a night or two, as is the nearby restaurant Lez Artes.

My wife and I had our three older children with us and we had most of our meals at the residence which was well stocked and everything worked perfectly. We were in the area mostly for hiking and enjoying the outdoors. Village Vacances is nearby where there is a beach, camp site with a playground and hikes, also where we booked a whale watching tour (zodiac) with Organisaction.com. Kayaking is also available there. The Park National du Fjord Du Saguenay (one of our main targets) was about a 45min drive away and Anse Saint Jean was even closer both with great hikes and the latter has a nice waterside cafe. We enjoyed sunsets at the water at Anse du Petit Saquenay along the Rue du Quai nearby. We also took time for a day trip to Tadoussac. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, the residence is quite new, everything worked, and was overall very comfortable, beds were good, water was clean and clear and pressure was great. There is a well stocked grocery store at the gas station close by.
Very spacious rooms with a very comfortable bed. Quality fittings used throughout. A very nice couple running hotel, apparently without staff! Nice feature of both inside and outside doors to rooms. Food prices quoted by booking.com are out of date and are quite a bit more than stated which was disappointing, however two other places to eat in village together with a supermarket.
