Muri Beach Club Hotel, hotel in Rarotonga

Muri Beach Club Hotel, an adults only oasis from 18years and over is ideally located on the beachfront at Muri Lagoon. Beachfront rooms have stunning views over the lagoon and off-shore islands.

Location. The beach front and the lagoon are so beautiful. The friendly staff. A big thank you to Kat, Israel, Jen, Rowena, Michael and the lovely lady who made all my cocktails perfectly. All of those lovely people made our stay wonderful. The hotel was very clean, beds super comfortable and the cleaning staff did a good job. We particularly liked the free alcoholic drinks and snacks every day at 3pm. Lovely hotel. Highly recommend

Staff were amazing, vibe was exactly what you want in an island resort. Rooms were well set up and serviced daily by the most delightful housekeeper. Activities at the resort were well thought out and executed. Cocktail menu never fails to please, pool was well engaged but never too busy. Food divine.

Muri Retreat Apartments, hotel in Rarotonga

Boasting an outdoor pool and stunning tropical garden, with lagoon and ocean views, Muri Retreat Apartments is just a 1-minute drive or a 5-minute walk to Muri Lagoon.

Simon and Denise were great. Simon picked us up from the airport, gave us a few pointers as we drove to the accommodation and then showed us to our room and explained everything on arrival. They left a TV with lots of movies for us to watch during our stay, which we ended up doing a little of due to the weather. The apartment had everything we needed, the laundry was a bonus and the pool area was very cute with the ability to have a bbq by the pool. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely be back

Our trip was amazing, however there was one theme that was a huge put off. Some of the places we went had absolutely horrible attitudes towards us. Rude with no greetings and sour faces, it is not nice to be treated like that. This was NOT at every place we went but it was enough times to stand out. Apart from that....it was a fun filled trip

Rarotonga is a great place to visit.

Rarotonga is a great place to visit. Its layed back and the weather is very nice. The beaches are great. We ate at Supper Browne in Tupapa at their cafe which was reasonably cheap steak meal. The local food on the early morning on Sunday was fantastic. Going to the movies could be good for young couples to spend some quality time without being too occupied with big expensive activities.

Enjoyed staying on the island of Rarotonga.

Enjoyed staying on the island of Rarotonga. Also did a day trip to Aitutaki. Both places were great for snorkelling, need water shoes to protect your feet from the coral. Night markets offered delicious food. We used the local bus to get around the island.

There is something special about this place.

There is something special about this place. From the moment we stepped off the plane, we felt so relaxed and welcomed. We stayed at Club Raro Resort (Adults Only) and I can only speak highly about this accommodation. They have amazing staff and the restaurant offers the BEST ribs on the island! Rarotonga is so relaxed and peaceful, all the locals and business's are really friendly, helpful and welcoming. You can use your New Zealand dollars, so no need for exchanging money before your trip. Easy to get around the island via rental car, scooter, bike or bus. Koka Lagoon Cruises were excellent! Four hours of fun, beautiful fish to see, snorkeling, yummy lunch and an entertaining show on an island. Happy Hour at The Edgewater Resort were a great price and so good. I've been here twice now and Raro will continue to be my annual holiday from now on.

Some of the best snorkelling on the island right in front of the hotel room which was wonderful! Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful with just one or two who were not. Great location, easy check in and check out. Decent sized room and nice having a bar and restaurant that was adults only but also having a children friendly bar and restaurant. Sitting on the deck having a meal was always fun as you can throw some food over the side and there is a frenzy of fish! Adults and kids all looked to love it!

Location great . Short walk to the lagoon, but being a little south meant there was no foot traffic in front of the resort. No children was wonderful!! I have four great kids, but just found it so relaxing not having to listen to any children (mine or others) squeals, complaining etc. The bed was the best I've ever slept on in a hotel. Room was clean and very spacious. Small size of the resort keeps it intimate. All decks look out to sea. Was great Anniversary destination.

Quiet, clean, and in a perfect location. The apartments have a beautiful view of the lagoon. They have kayaks and snorkeling gear that you can borrow. It is within walking distance of markets and restaurants, and the bus stop is nearby too. The apartments have everything you need; a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, two bedrooms, fans, or air conditioning too. Desiree is wonderful, and she will leave you bananas and bread your first night too. Just Paradise!

Staff go above and beyond to provide guests with the highest level of support. It has become like a ‘second home’ as I have visited Rarotonga a number of times and love staying at the Edgewater. It’s very clean and comfortable. It has become rather expensive like a lot of accommodation on Rarotonga as prices have risen. Special thanks to Tametoa and Martha. Kindest Regards Anni

The staff were amazing! Nothing was too much to ask. Food portions were very generous, don’t be put off by the price. Facilities were clean. The massage my wife had was the best she had in years. Great location, we didn’t do any day tours but saw all the fish and turtles we needed to snorkelling in front of the hotel. Great to have free use of Watersport equipment.

Pacific Palms Luxury Villa was most amazing. It exceeded all of our expectations. Everything was just as the photos show. Close to wigmores store and great food outlets. Viamaanga Beach was idyllic with great snorkeling. A short bus or car ride to Muri Beach. We will definitely choose Pacific Palms Luxury Villa again when returning to Rarotonga.

A little dated but a quiet and adult only resort. The staff was the best I experienced in a long time. They really treated you as family. The location was good, especially if you like whale watching. It was nearing the end of the whale season but many were still present and we could see them from our room.
