The room, the terrace with swimming pool and the lobby were very nice and comfortable. The receptionist guy, Mohan, was the nicest and most helpful person - nothing was too much for him to do.

Paradise… definitely recommend to stay for a few days instead of just a day trip! Loved the laid-back vibe of the island. It only has a few cars, so very convenient to get around on foot or by bike. You can stop at the hidden beaches you discover on your way, enjoy the view of the tropical forest, and befriend the turtles you meet on your way :). For a bite, don’t miss Chez Jules, great fresh juices and amazing food!

Although I was unlucky to get 1 full day of heavy rains but I enjoyed the property with swimming pool and took a rainy walk around.
They have got best beaches and would recommend to visit Source D'argent beach for sunset.
Cycling around the beach road was also fun...!

The island is really beautiful, paradise beaches.
The island is really beautiful, paradise beaches. The only downside is that the concentration of visitors is the highest in Seychelles. That said, you can still find your spot in the shade on most beaches.

We have visited 3 islands - Mahe, Praslin and La Digue.
We would not return to La Digue, Mahe and Praslin are much more recommendable.
Anse Source de Argent and Anse Patates are very scenic, great to take pictures, but very hard to swim (stones and corals, need for special shoes), flat waters. Grand Anse is better to swim (we had big waves during our stay), but not really scenic.
Best beach on Seychelles - in our opinion - Anse-Lazio.

Unique island vibe, very friendly people (local and tourists as well), plenty of food options (shops, take-aways, restaurants). Recommend to rent bicycle and go around island to see all the beaches and spots. On the other hand a lot of running constructions, so I hope this island will keep its atmosphere forever :-)

It’s a beautiful island with stunning beaches , forest and giant tortoises. However it’s overpriced and overall service is of a low standard many times slow with no smile or no interest to make customer happy . It’s hard to get a good clean food . There are some nice takeaways though and lovely people who try to do their best but it’s not a majority .
Many shops have no prices on items . Water is not potable and the cheapest price for 12 bottles of 1l is around 15 Eur .
It’s not good destination for snorkelling as corals are very damaged and majority is bleached . Nevertheless it’s advertised as a place with stunning corals so we felt cheated when we discovered a reality of a reef . It’s still possible to see some sea animals like turtles , sting rays , tropical fish but not in abundance. We dived as well 2x but as we didn’t like much diving and they seem to us overpriced (220 for 3 tanks ) so we didn’t do more.
I personally prefer Indonesia or Maledives for snorkelling or diving .
Trips are also extremely expensive - such as 70 Eur for half day of snorkelling trip .
It’s a small island and transport is mainly by bicycle (it’s necessary to pay attention at lorries and taxis when cycling )
Overall, I think it’s good to visit for beach and nature lovers , max 1 week . It’s not good destination for snorkelling. We stayed 12 days- it was too long . It’s nice to see beaches but we wouldn’t return .
The property is beautiful. The cold towels on arrival and fresh juice (from oranges from the property) were a lovely touch. Breakfast was excellent - pretty presentation and exceeded expectations. The owners and staff (Mom, son and Jamal) were absolutely lovely. They have thought about everything you would need for a beach stay - clothes hangers in the bathroom and on the patio, showers at reception to refresh even after checkout etc. 100% Would stay here again. La Digue is also my favourite island.
Our favourite stay in the Seychelles. The kitchen is very well equipped and clean, the staff and owner are extremely kind and were always very happy to help. We were greeted every morning with a nice juice and some fruit which was a lovely thing to wake up to. The room was very clean, smelled quite nice, and had everything we needed. Pick up at the jetty was much appreciated. For drop off to the jetty there is an extra cost as expected but really isn't very far to walk if you prefer.
The place is much nicer and bigger than I thought. It's equipped everything we need for our stay. The person in charge in the property is also very helpful to everything we might need. It's also very well located. Close to big supermarket in La Digue and other places you would want to visit in La Digue. They also offer free transport from/to Jetty if you arrive with luggages. We had a wonderful time here because of this accommodation.
Beautiful little guesthouse, located close to the main Street. Hosts were very hospitable and helped with any questions I had. They even let me store my luggage in their souvenir shop on the main Street near the port while waiting for the ferry.
Breakfast was the best I had in all my stays in Seychelles.
I was able to rent bicycles & had my laundry done during my stay which was ready by the next day.
Will definitely recommend..
We had an excellent stay in La Digue, the chalet is spacious, nicely decorated, beachfront with beautiful view of the sea and front garden. We really love the open air bathroom. Dinner food was good and diverse, breakfast ok, but nothing pretentious. Services and people are nice, and it was a great surprise the welcome celebration gift. The resort is quite big, well located and nicely arranged, we liked it and wish to return.
of the six accommodations we had in Seychelles over a month, that was the most expensive and most disappointing .
we liked:
- the partial sea view
- the sparkling wine and flower we had for San valentine
- the owner who waited for us at the jetty to help with the luggage and help us further in the check out day to the next accommodation
- the washing machine
-a good tip for the renting bikes
-the garden is nice
Very friendly, helpful and nice staff and the lady owner, beautiful garden and surroundings of the house in which we stayed, everything is clean, regularly cleaned and maintained. Very near from beach. Thank you very much for your understanding with the canceled stay of our friends who could not arrive due to a canceled flight. We would love to come back to you in the future if we ever visit Seychelles-La Digue
An AMAZING property just 5-10 minutes from the jetty. We’re so thankful we started our honeymoon here! Although Calou Guest House is not on the water, it’s a quick ten minute walk away. The host made a wonderful breakfast each morning and helped arrange bicycle rentals/ jetty transfer etc.
The guest houses are comfortable, clean, and updated. I would 100% recommend you stay here on your visit to La Digue.
Talma and her family are very kind and always willing to help. We also rent the bicycles from them and they always took care that the bicycles will be performed us.
The kitchen is amazing 💕 the room is beautiful and the location is very convenient.
Close to the supermarket and to the jetty.
I hope we will visiting again amazing La Digue and if we do so we will book in Pension Citadelle again 🫶
The manager, Nadine, was extremely helpful, offering us a fresh fruit juice during check-in. She arranged for our rental bikes to be delivered to our cottage. She also made it possible for us the check out late and have our luggage transferred to our next hotel (belongs to the same owner). The cottage also offered beach towels and was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers.
Villa de charme: rather dark but nice interior; nice balcony with views; rooms need an uplift (see garden villa below)
Dinner buffet: The variety of the dinner buffet was nice, especially for Seychelles measurement (not at international standards at all, despite the high prices)
A cheaper, but prettier hotel is very close by
The location néxt to one of the best beaches of La Digue is super!
Host Frank is really helpful and relaxed. The chalets are well equipped and beds are super comfy. Garden is beautiful! We loved our stay here best out of our 4 stays in the Seychelles. If you are Dutch, please bring Frank some stroopwafels, he adores them!
Friendly staff
Close to many places
Quiet area
Tasty and moderately priced food in guest house restaurant. Huge thanks to local cooker who made our food a piece of art ). He also made our own food hot for free
bike rental and boat trip arrangement
Free transfer from the ferry port
Fast internet for Seychelles
The breakfast was diverse and very delicious. The hotel itself is located extremely close to the sea. The ferry port is just a few minutes down the road. This hotel offers everything you wish for when on holiday. The apartments are clean, the staff is more than friendly and the service is great.
Great location. The staff was very helpful. The room was clean.
You have access to a private beach, a pool and can even rent a kayak in the hotel is very comfortable.
The hotel has a beach bar and an Italian restaurant ( although not many options for vegetarians).
Perfect accomodation in every way!
Cozy & clean apartments, lovely staff, delicious breakfast, great bikes, fast Wifi and a unique location close to some of the world's most beautiful beaches.
Best value for money during our Seychelles adventure!!
The accommodation is very clean, which is the number one priority for us when travelling. The air conditioning and fans worked well, which is essential in the Seychelles. Hannsa, our host, was pleasant.
Nice host she’s so kind
Very close to the beach and anywhere in ladigue with cheap bike rentals was my best stay so far in Seychelles I’ll be here again
