The room, the terrace with swimming pool and the lobby were very nice and comfortable. The receptionist guy, Mohan, was the nicest and most helpful person - nothing was too much for him to do.

One of the most amazingly decorated places I’ve stayed, not to mention the stunning location. Really helpful staff throughout who gave us really useful tips for our stay on La Digue.

Paradise… definitely recommend to stay for a few days instead of just a day trip! Loved the laid-back vibe of the island. It only has a few cars, so very convenient to get around on foot or by bike. You can stop at the hidden beaches you discover on your way, enjoy the view of the tropical forest, and befriend the turtles you meet on your way :). For a bite, don’t miss Chez Jules, great fresh juices and amazing food!

Although I was unlucky to get 1 full day of heavy rains but I enjoyed the property with swimming pool and took a rainy walk around.
They have got best beaches and would recommend to visit Source D'argent beach for sunset.
Cycling around the beach road was also fun...!

The island is really beautiful, paradise beaches.
The island is really beautiful, paradise beaches. The only downside is that the concentration of visitors is the highest in Seychelles. That said, you can still find your spot in the shade on most beaches.

We have visited 3 islands - Mahe, Praslin and La Digue.
We would not return to La Digue, Mahe and Praslin are much more recommendable.
Anse Source de Argent and Anse Patates are very scenic, great to take pictures, but very hard to swim (stones and corals, need for special shoes), flat waters. Grand Anse is better to swim (we had big waves during our stay), but not really scenic.
Best beach on Seychelles - in our opinion - Anse-Lazio.

Unique island vibe, very friendly people (local and tourists as well), plenty of food options (shops, take-aways, restaurants). Recommend to rent bicycle and go around island to see all the beaches and spots. On the other hand a lot of running constructions, so I hope this island will keep its atmosphere forever :-)

It’s a beautiful island with stunning beaches , forest and giant tortoises. However it’s overpriced and overall service is of a low standard many times slow with no smile or no interest to make customer happy . It’s hard to get a good clean food . There are some nice takeaways though and lovely people who try to do their best but it’s not a majority .
Many shops have no prices on items . Water is not potable and the cheapest price for 12 bottles of 1l is around 15 Eur .
It’s not good destination for snorkelling as corals are very damaged and majority is bleached . Nevertheless it’s advertised as a place with stunning corals so we felt cheated when we discovered a reality of a reef . It’s still possible to see some sea animals like turtles , sting rays , tropical fish but not in abundance. We dived as well 2x but as we didn’t like much diving and they seem to us overpriced (220 for 3 tanks ) so we didn’t do more.
I personally prefer Indonesia or Maledives for snorkelling or diving .
Trips are also extremely expensive - such as 70 Eur for half day of snorkelling trip .
It’s a small island and transport is mainly by bicycle (it’s necessary to pay attention at lorries and taxis when cycling )
Overall, I think it’s good to visit for beach and nature lovers , max 1 week . It’s not good destination for snorkelling. We stayed 12 days- it was too long . It’s nice to see beaches but we wouldn’t return .
We really enjoyed our stay at Pension Michel! They gave us fresh juice at check-in and allowed us to check-in a little early. The room was very clean and modern, even better than we expected! It was nice to have such a large bathroom and the little balcony was great for relaxing in the evening. The breakfast (included in our stay) was so delicious! It was a great way to start the day. Location was convenient to all the best beaches on La Digue and a short bike-ride away from lots of restaurants. We would definitely stay again!
This property is so amazing. I made the mistake of only booking one night here, and the rest were at a hotel up the road. I spent twice as much at the hotel and this bungalow was way more comfortable and easy going! So clean, charming, relaxed, with welcome drinks and a tasty breakfast, good WiFi and a comfortable bed! The location was great, and having a bike rental on site was really convenient. I can’t recommend this place enough. When I return to La Digue I will definitely stay here!
We spent three nights in this hotel. It is well located in the north of La Digue, not far from the jetty terminal.
All the staff was nice and friendly.
We had a Junior suite with an amazing bathroom
We felt very well in the room and we did not want to leave.
The food at the restaurant was also very good (international and Creole food) with a large choice of food. Good Breakfast as well!
Last thing, the pool bar is most probably one of the best spot in La Digue to watch the Sunset !!
We had a great stay. Nancy welcomed us at arrival and showed the apartment to us. The location was great (just 5 mins from the ferry) and just around the corner of the best bakery (famous bakery) in Seychelles. It it very closed to the main street, but still very quiet. The apartment was cozy, clean and tiny and had everything we needed. There was also a place to leave and lock our bikes. La Digue is a pretty and beautiful small island and a must-see when you are in Seychelles.
We really liked our upper level room with balcony. We enjoyed it a lot sitting there and just relaxing.
The breakfast was extraordinary and honestly the best we had on the Seychelles. Avocado, eggs, bread, jam, fruits and every day something small special.
All our wishes were heard and realized! The next time we are on La Digue we will come again.
They are building some new rooms, which will probably be also very nice!
Definitely the best hotel on La Digue (and maybe even on Seychelles). Very welcoming and friendly staff, attentive service during whole stay. Hotel is small, the staff knows you and treats like family members. Comfortable, contemporary designed room, a la carte breakfast, very good cocktails. We had one dinner in the restaurant and again it was probably the best restaurant meal during our 3 weeks on Seychelles.
An AMAZING property just 5-10 minutes from the jetty. We’re so thankful we started our honeymoon here! Although Calou Guest House is not on the water, it’s a quick ten minute walk away. The host made a wonderful breakfast each morning and helped arrange bicycle rentals/ jetty transfer etc.
The guest houses are comfortable, clean, and updated. I would 100% recommend you stay here on your visit to La Digue.
The appartment is modern and very nicely decorated - quite different to other accomodations at the Seychelles. There is a great seaview from the balcony or through the huge windowfront. The bed is fantastic. The location is very central near the port and at the busiest intersection of the island which is convenient and unconvenient at the same time (see the "not so good" section)
an amazing experience .. probably our favorite hotel in the many years of travel. Combines elegance/luxury of a 5-star hotel with the intimate setting and feel of a boutique property. Beautiful design, high quality throughout.. stunning views.. excellent restaurant.. The management and staff are friendly and open. Very professional and client-focused.
The staff was so friendly, the location is perfect (close to La Source d’argent so you can quickly go there in the morning before all the people arrive, it’s also close to the most beautiful beaches of the island in the southeast). The apartment is big, very clean, they have the best mattresses I have had during my stay in Seychelles.
Doris and Charles are wonderful hosts. They really make you feel welcome and the place instantly feels like home. Fantastic location, not far from the port but quiet and set in a beautiful lush garden. Breakfast is very good, and the dinner was excellent (the best Octopus curry we had in Seychelles). Can't wait to visit again!!!
Villa de charme: rather dark but nice interior; nice balcony with views; rooms need an uplift (see garden villa below)
Dinner buffet: The variety of the dinner buffet was nice, especially for Seychelles measurement (not at international standards at all, despite the high prices)
A cheaper, but prettier hotel is very close by
Great location. The staff was very helpful. The room was clean.
You have access to a private beach, a pool and can even rent a kayak in the hotel is very comfortable.
The hotel has a beach bar and an Italian restaurant ( although not many options for vegetarians).
The owner Agnes is such a nice person and very eager to make your stay as nice as possible. She even went out of her way to make my birthday even more memorable. Whenever we come back to La Digue, we will come back to Agnes 🥰
The bed was conformable, clean room, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was really good and diverse every morning. From out stay in Seychelles it was the best 👌 with a lot of fruits.
Room was cleaned every day 😌
The owner is an amazing person, he really helped alot and was very caring. The accommodation is my favorite in Seychelles as I stayed in about 4 others. Great value for money.
helpful host, great location, comfortable bed, seemed new and very clean! great value. I only wish we had booked Kai for the duration of our trip in La Digue.
Very nice atmosphere in the hotel, extremly nice personnel, good location, very spacious rooms observing the sea. Great food. Our best stay on Seychelles
Nice host she’s so kind
Very close to the beach and anywhere in ladigue with cheap bike rentals was my best stay so far in Seychelles I’ll be here again
