I was looking for a place to stay in the West of Mauritius but was hesitant to book Tam Studio following all the negative reviews in a row below. However, i’m glad that i booked for one night. I honestly dont understand why there were so many negative reviews. It is a cosy apartment furnished with all the facilities one could imagine. Quality service is provided for such an affordable price. When i arrived, I was greeted by the owner, Mr Raaz who was very welcoming and even suggested places to visit in Mauritius. He is very kind and was always available by phone. I have stayed in many places across the world but never met someone as kind and as dedicated as Mr Raaz. Even though i did not book the car and airport transfer in advance, he tried his best to rent me a car and even organised the airport transfer at a very affordable price. I would definitely stay longer at Tam Studio during my holidays next time. Thank you Mr Raaz!

We like our staying in this Vila, breakfast was delicious, the place is near La Morne but you need a car, also in surroundings are some restaurants. Stuff were very kind.

Teddy is a great host! Always supportive (offers advice or a lift or whatever you need) and understanding. His motto is „make yourself a home“. He suggested to move the couch so we could create a safe bed for our kid. The accomodation is well located (near restaurants, supermarket and bus stops. In my opinion the village La Gaulette is underestimated. Before we went to La Gaulette people asked „why are you going there?“ we know very well now: it is a small fisher‘s place clos to Chamarell, Le Morne mountain and Prairie beach.

We booked fairly last minute and so pleased with the outcome. We arrived and settled in easily with water, milk & fruit juice in fridge. Very spaceous apartment with all we needed. Was clean & tidy, good bedding & towels. Good sized pool which we were lucky to have for our soke use. Relatively short walk to beach and a small selection of bars & eateries. Super market 15 mins max walk away. Lovely views out to sea and across 5he tree tops. Slept OK. It was a sticky night and AC was a little noisy. We had breakfast included which was fresh & varied. All around a big thumbs up. Thank you.
