The room was a good size on the ground floor with a small balcony and a view towards the swimming pool and gardens. It was lovely to sit on the balcony in the evenings and enjoy the sunset.
The Staff were all excellent and went out of their way to assist in anyway possible, really enhancing our stay.
The food in the restaurant and bar was also very good.

They were very accommodating to let me check in early. Large and clean room with a lovely green view. Large spread of breakfast full of sweet, great for those who has a sweet tooth, unfortunately I do not take sugar and not much option for me. The only savoury is scramble eggs that has been sitting on the warmer for too long and is tasteless, hard and dry, 1 type of ham and cheese. No option even if I am willing to pay for a decent cup of espresso and omelette. They should consider adding boiled egg, cucumber and tomato, at least that is ok if it is cold.

Located 18 km from the Iguazú Falls UNESCO World Heritage Site, Puerto Iguazú is an Argentinean town situated near the Brazilian border, in the Province of Misiones. Its compact city centre is packed with restaurants, cafés and shops, while the area is well-known for its red soil and lush vegetation.
The stunning falls comprise 275 individual falls spread over 3 km between Argentina and Brazil. They have a maximum height of 80 metres and a water flow that can be three times superior to that of the Niagara Falls.
The Guaraní natives named the falls ‘iguazú’, meaning ‘big water’. The national park was founded in 1907, and some of the best hotels in Puerto Iguazú are located in the road linking the city centre to the falls. Some hotels on the Argentinean side of the waterfalls offer beautiful views.
The local bus station offers links to several long-distance destinations, including Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires. The city is served by Cataratas del Iguazú International Airport, while the Brazilian Foz do Iguaçu International Airport is 16 km away.
Whether you need a backpacker hostel, a hotel near the airport, or a 5-star resort, don’t miss the Puerto Iguazú deals available on Booking.com!
Amazing bucket list experience! We went later in the day and rode the boat ride that took us practically right next to the falls! Truly awe-inspiring and something that all should experience. Prices are great. Be prepared for the steps down, and then back up!...to and from the boats - it's a bit of a climb. Didn't get to do much else at the park - if there is a next time, we will go earlier to get the full experience!

We came to just see the Iguazu Falls on both Argentina and Brazil side, they were amazing, I would highly recommend visiting, we didn't do much traveling into the town, we stayed at the Gran Melia Hotel and pretty much just hiked the falls

Very disappointed.
Very disappointed. Spent time and money to get to this part of Argentina to see these falls and we saw very little due to over tourism. It was so crowded you were elbow to elbow, face to face and some times wheel chairs running over your feet so they can get by. It was terrible. What a way to ruin 1 of the 7 wonders.

I loved the Falls, especially the Argentina side.
I loved the Falls, especially the Argentina side. This was also our chance to visit Paraguay. There were some nice restaurants nearby. The weather was terribly hot and humid. We didn’t stay long at either Park because it was too hot and crowded in the morning. The sidewalks in Puerto Iguasu are terrible.

An enjoyable night spent in this separate bungalow situated in a small section of local forest. The front desk staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful and they spoke English. The accommodation was clean and spacious. The double bed was comfortable and the bathroom and shower were very good. We enjoyed the free breakfast provided by the hotel, a short distance up the road. It was only a short 5 minute walk to see the meeting point of the boarders of Argentina, Paraquay and Brazil from a great viewing point.
The staff went above and beyond to make us feel like welcome guests, not just hotel customers. The views were incredible (including from our room) and the proximity to the Argentina National Park/ Iguazu Falls just couldn't be beat. We enjoyed the Red Level lounge service for glasses and wine and snacks after exploring the Falls. Beware the cappuchin monkeys on the balconies, they really will try and get into your room and raid the mini-bar!
We were in Puerto Iguazu for just one night, and this hotel certainly met our expectations. There was an exceptionally clean pool, which we were not able to use during our short stay, but it looked inviting. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was most helpful, ordering cars and recommending activities. The property is secure and a short taxi ride to the town center and Iguazu Falls.
Miguel is a great host and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The apartment is perfect, clean and comfy, with a good bed and a well-equiped kitchen. The location is perfect, in a calm area 5min walking from the city center and near the bus stop for the catararas. We highly recommend to stay at Miguel's place and would come back if we are again in Puerto Iguazu !
Average breakfast. Good if you want to start your day early for hiking or whatever other plan you may have in Iguazú.
We tried the spa after a long hiking day around the waterfalls. It was good. Didn´t have enough time to try a massage.
It´s a block away from the main street with restaurants and bars.
There is a TAXI joint at the right corner of the street where the hotel is.
Good base for exploring the falls, and very close to restaurants/supermarkets in the town. Overall the hotel is simple but the rooms were clean and the breakfast includes a few different options. Wifi was available in the room, aircon was working, and the hotel staff were helpful in organising taxis for the airport/falls. There is a pool but we didn't have time to use it.
Quiet, beautiful plants, baked goods and fruit for breakfast, rooms basic but clean & comfortable. Would love to see outdoor murals painted on the walls here…need artist incentives & competition! FYI Taxi to Argentina Falls $24 US dollars round trip, $45 to Brazil Falls rd trip, to town $2-6 each way. Man working at desk very helpful.
We stayed at a hotel with 3 kids. The property was safe and easy to find. We slept well and breakfast was good. Kids had fun swimming at the small pool after we visited the main attraction. Air conditioner worked well and this is a main thing you need in this town in December. We loved our stay.
Fabulous hostel in Puerto Iguazu! The location is right in the heart of downtown Iguazu, and it's easy to take a cab to the falls. The room was a good size, with warm water and good wifi. It was very quiet too! Breakfast was good, and the staff is fantastic! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Wow this hotel was one of the best of the trips. Super helpful in organizing travel to the falls and just making your trip easy.
Being on the top floor with an amazing view of the river, balcony, great bathtub view. The rooms is spacious, bed super comfortable.
Nice breakfast
Ariel, the host, is a gentleman and speaks Portuguese, English and obviously Spanish. The place is in a decent location, half an hour walk from the hub of Puerto Iguazu. There’s a supermarket nearby. Very comfortable bed. Clean with good kitchen facilities. Great for the price.
Great small hotel - near 10 rooms in total. Little bit far from Iguasy falls - near 15 mins drive by car. And it' near 25 mins to drive from airport. Design of the rooms is good. Bed was comfortable. Staff is nice, but not all of them speak english.
Location was perfect for exploring Iguazu falls as the hotel is very close to the bus station. Hotel breakfast was really nice. Great food and coffee options just a few minutes walk away from the hotel.
Staff were very kind and helpful. Great location, a bus stop just across the hotel to travel to the falls, so you don’t need to walk back and purchase bus tickets at the bus terminal.
It was a quick trip to the bus station to get to Uguazu Falls. Restaurants were a short walk away. They provided a nice breakfast. The family that operates the hotel were sweat.
Golf court to take u around the lodges! Helped get taxis from Argentina to Brazil and back. Helped set up helicopter ride in Brazil over Iguazu falls!!
