It is a room in a house, in a short walking distance to everything you may need, with windows open to a nice garden - you will be woken up by birds in the morning. The owner is wonderfully helpful and friendly, you will enjoy his company and advice (and the company of his cat and dog). The place is clean and very convenient. You will share the bathroom. Staying at this place is a kind of good experience by itself, you will be immersed in local life and bring home good memories. Strongly recommended.

Small town with lots around.
Small town with lots around. Amazing warm bay that we kayaked out into everyday (becuse Cabinas Jimenez provided free use of them) It is calm, swimable and full of fish and marine mammals. We loved the ceviche at several places-Delphines is the favorite. fun vibe there on the water Get your produce at the fresh market at the entrance to town-great selection. Very hot at midday, but mornings and evenings are heavenly.

We did a daytrip to Corcovado Nationalpark. The Tour was organized by Osa Wild (a local organisation). The Guide was very good and we saw lots of exotic animals during the Day. Corcovado and Osa Peninsula are very wild and untamed in relation to some more touristic places in Costa Rica. Puerto Jiménez isn‘t that special, but it‘s a good place to start Tours to Corcovado.

A quiet, unspoilt small harbour town. Los Delphines was a great place to eat, chill and watch the wildlife. Watch out for caimans! Jaguar is a lovely little gift shop selling delicious drinks and ice creams. Night kayaking to see the bioluminescence was fantastic.

We saw a lot of animals, including macaw parrots and monkeys, bioluminescence in the water at night and more. The familiy which lived there was really nice and helpful with everything, breakfast was very delicious and the rooms always clean. Its the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Thank you very much for everything.

One of the few places that we have visited (if not the only) where the waves were small (bit of a lake feeling). They have free kayaks for guest use in very good condition. We went out one afternoon and actually got to kayak with dolphins! We only stayed at Kunken Lodge for two nights, but if we are visiting Costa Rica again (hopefully) we will definitely book a couple more nights here!DoraGermany

It had a refrigerator, washing machine, and a burner to cook (with all utensils and plates). It was very close to places we needed to go in Puerto Jimenez (bus depot, supermarket, tour offices, etc). There was a very friendly hummingbird outside on the bushes right by the room. We hope to stay with Giselle again soon! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Our villa was spacious and very clean. The Rancho, where one has breakfast. is situated on top of the hill with a spectacular view of the forest and Golfo Dulce. We would highly recommend this place if staying in the Puerto Jimenez area

The Hostel was at least 15$ cheaper than any other available, and it was really great! David, the host, it's super chill, interested and great person. The kitchen is really nice, toilets are clean, and the rooms are big, big beds with curtains, fans. The people there were really nice aswell! Couldn't ask for better!
