Amazing location and great rooms! Service was really good and attentive, just a shame that we spent over €80 to get our bags to the hotel from the ferry and the price was not advised to us correctly.
Everything at the Relais Maresca boasts a typical Capri style: the rooms with Vietri tiles, its beachfront position, the panoramic terrace with views of Mount Vesuvius, the excellent cuisine.

For archeology lovers, Villa Jovis is the biggest imperial roman palace remaining on the island, with a beautiful hike through the outskirts of Capri town up to the Villa Jovis, and a gorgeous park next to it, Parco Astarita, with breath-taking views of the sea.
For hikers, you can hike along the western coast of the island from a lighthouse in the southwest (Faro) to Grotto Azzuro in the northwest, through diverse terrain of mediterranean forests, rocks and cliffs above the sea (sometimes scary), and ruins of old forts along the way.
Chair lift at Monte Solaro brings you to a great almost full circle view of the island.
Anacapri, the second town on this little island, has more diverse restaurant options relative to the chic Capri, with a short bus ride between the two.

We went in November so the weather was not great and many restaurants were closed. There were a couple options in Capri and a couple in Anacapri. Otherwise it was very pretty and a magical experience.

One more day would have been great.
One more day would have been great. We loved walking and exploring the island. We walked over to the other side and down to the water. The walk back up was not easy, but the weather was perfect. We took a taxi over to Anacapri to see the Villa San Michele and experience that side and really loved it. Restaurants are fantastic, people are great and the sights and sounds are so unique.

I absolutely loved Capri.
I absolutely loved Capri. There is so much to do both leisurely and adventure. There are plenty of hiking trails and ways to get “lost” around the tiny island if you want. And there are also several beaches, shops, tours and such that you could do for a week long. The restaurant scene is fantastic and the views from just about any part of the island are breath taking. The only downside is Capri is very pricy. You could easily spend € 70-100 on 2 drinks and a snack.

Capri is absolutely a wonderful place.
Capri is absolutely a wonderful place. The beauty takes your breath away. However, the prices are astronomical. €92 for two ceaser salads and two Coke.....! Ridiculous! The same meal in Ireland would cost €20! The taxis charges and everything really are ridiculously overpriced. However, the public transport is very fairly priced. The sights though makes up for it. Absolutely beautiful.
We were very pleasantly surprised when we walked into this small oasis in Capri. The staff that looked after us was absolutely great , she was extremely helpful and welcoming. The hotel is a very small hotel and feels like you are at home. The rooms were all really nicely done and clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great and the lady serving breakfast was really lovely. You are also in Capri so very easy to walk everywhere or take the bus to the other parts. We will definitely stay here if we come back to Capri again.
I traveled to Hotel Mamela on my birthday. It was also my very first time to Italy. One of the staff members, Rosie, was so beyond accommodating. She upgraded us to a phenomenal room and decorated it with birthday balloons. They even gave us a birthday dessert. I have never seen a hotel room this nice. We had our own private balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. The staff goes above and beyond. Thank you to all of Hotel Mamela, especially Rosie, for making my Italy trip and birthday unforgettable!!!
The most beautiful villa hotel in Capri. The rooms had amazing high ceilings, beautiful built in armoires and everything was cared for so carefully by the family.
The breakfast, the pool, working with the bag porters for the ferry boats… we even got lucky enough to have them help us obtain a reservation at Da Paolino.
I was lucky enough to find them on booking.com but i would 100% recommend this hotel to others. And although it was peaceful and relaxing it is very family friendly. 😉
I love how the owner of the hotel was so caring about every detail, she was so nice and sweet and extremely helpful with anything. The location was marvelous! It was beside marine piccola free and private beaches and a foot step from the bus station that takes you to the square of capri. I highly recommend it, everything was perfect, and there’s nothing to complain about.
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Capri Wine Hotel, for starters we loved that they picked us up at the port with no extra charge to carry our luggage and us up to the hotel. The staff was amazing - very friendly and welcoming, they also gave us amazing recommendations that we would have not found without their help!
The owner of the hotel was so helpful and friendly. He gave us a fantastic itinerary so we could get to see as much as possible of Anacapri and Capri. He also recommended some fabulous restaurants to eat in as well. The hotel is situated in a really good place, and it was very central. I’d definitely recommend staying here
Costanza was such a nice host, helpful and fully devoted to make our stay a wonderful experience. Value for money was excellent for Capri terms and I would definitely recommend this accommodation for anyone who wants to explore beautiful Capri without overspending on the posh hotels. We will definitely come again.
Beautiful hotel in excellent location and a very good breakfast.
Bathroom toiletries are very good quality.
Complimentary cake and limoncello in the room - very good.
Upgraded to a suite, which was fantastic and if we we were returning to Capri, would definetly stay here.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
View is beautiful and some of staff are helpful lady serving at pool very nice and friendly, Antonio is lovely and helpful too.. quick taxis to get out, capri is amazing but this hotel may ruin your experience, get out to Capri town, Anacapri and go see blue caves to make up for a horrible stay.
A delicious breakfast of homemade cake, cappuccino, yoghurts, buttered toast and jam is served on the terrace. The hotel is well located 5 minutes walk from the main square of Capri, funicular, bus stop. I thank Anna for the warm welcome, pleasant communication and help in all matters.
such a beautiful hotel in the centre of capri, piazetta is just 5 mins walk away, the port is very close also. the location was perfect, the rooms were clean and modern but still gave a capri vibe & breakfast was yummy - will defo be staying here again when i come back to capri :)

Everything was perfect. One of the best vacations we had. Capri is incredible and the staff in the hotel was super helpful and amicable. We are grateful for such experience. We will definitely come again. Magical place.
Incredible views, luxurious rooms and phenomenal staff. Convenient location near the island center with lots of restaurants and shopping. Short walk to the bus and taxi service to take you to Anacapri. Amazing hotel!
The hotel was fantastic. The owner was present at all times and it was evident the love and hard work that has been it in to make this one of the best stays in Capri! We will definitely be back!
Gorgeous views. Beautiful pool. Good drinks at the pool bar. Walk to the beach. Great free shuttle to go to and from Capri city center. Super friendly and helpful hotel staff.
Amazing location, right in the heart of Capri. Best room we stayed in Italy, beautiful and comfortable. Great breakfast and great staff. We wish we stayed longer.
Fabio the owner was a fabulous host. Very generous with his time, information and advice on what to see and do on Capri. A wonderful representative for Italy.
Esther and her staff were superb - so warm and welcoming. Very hospitable. There is no better view of Capri than from the hotel’s balcony and guest rooms.
