The lobby has been renovated and is very nice. Hopefully the rooms will get updated too. There's nothing wrong, but they could use a re-paint, new furniture etc. Air-conditioning works well, wifi is excellent. Sheets and towels were clean.

Beautiful little island, very lively!
The bright colors of the building and the nice sunset views by the water are a great + to this place, and it is very easy to get around
I recommend trying out the street food @tacospeches, very good and super cheap
The town is located 1h30 drive from the ruins of Tikal, and up to 6 shuttles leave daily to get you there
Would recommend around 3 days in Flores!

The island has really noce restaurants and night activities.
The island has really noce restaurants and night activities. it is really easy to get around and people is willing to help you with directions.
Prices are much higher on the island, so is better to buy the stuff you need (sun block for example) outside of Flores.
We had a local guide that took us for the sunrise on tikal were you get to enter the park at 4AM and walk in the jungle still at night.
Then we did the sunset in Yaxha which is amazing.
Flores is a 10 min drive from the airport, so its a really good point for staying.

Loved the walk around Flores and all the little shops.
Loved the walk around Flores and all the little shops. Great ice cream place on lakeshore. Yummy !
When we got tired from walking after 5 miles that day( not all there) we hired a tuk tuk to bring us back to the hotel. Will definitely be returning there for a longer stay.
Boat tours looked interesting for a future adventure.
We drove and had to get used to the one way streets to get around Flores and find our hotel but so worth the effort. Parking was not an issue though. We parked at hotel and took off on foot

Airlines are a mess.
Airlines are a mess. Avianca overbooked my flight into Flores and was booked the next day. Tag Airlines delayed 2 hours and 15 minutes my flight into Guatemala City. I have been seating at the airport in Flores over 4 hours and I am expected to get to Guatemala City around 0:30 Am (I was supposed to arrive at 10:15 pm)

The island of flores is small and easy to walk. sunset views...
The island of flores is small and easy to walk. sunset views are very good from rooftop bars / restaurants. All are within 5 -10 minute walk.
We chose to take a lake ride to El Mirador and then to the beach Playa Chechenal.
Many sites are available to take day trips .These can be very long days especially to Tikal. We went to Tikal independently and it is highly recommended. I would recommend at least 1 night if not two.
We stayed inside the park at Tikal Inn. It has air conditioning and a swimming pool , we were very pleased and staff is great.
Perfectly located in the town of Flores. This is a very fun hotel - the food in the restaurant is the best in town, the room we stayed in was the cutest and most put together room in all of our stays in both Belize and Guatemala. The attention to detail in the rooms was off the charts and the bed was amazingly comfortable. We made use of their booking on site to book our bus back to Belize and that was a very good experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to backpackers and couple travelers like myself.
Eric and the staff were very accommodating and frequently asked if we needed anything. They also gave information about the area and things to do. Breakfast was delicious.
Rooms are very clean, cosy and comfortable.
Hotel is located in San Miguel, and you'll need to get a boat transfer everytime you need to go to Flores (10q per person)
Although there are a lot of things to do in San Miguel as well. (Beaches, short hikes, excavation sites)
The location is great because it is quiet, unlike many hotels in Flores. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable

This hotel was only a few block's walk away from the island of Flores. Very close to restaurants and shopping. We were in a room for up to 6 people so although it was tight quarters, it was comfortable. Plenty of space to sit, relax, and eat around the hotel grounds. Front desk very helpful in booking a Tikal all day tour.
Super clean! has a really big kitchen and it’s the only hostel that I’ve been to thats refrigerator does not smell like rotting flesh! the beds are comfortable and the hot water in the shower is great. The terrace is a really nice place to relax or do yoga with a view. Shout out to Cee for being the best receptionist ever!
The Hotel has a good location and you can reach everything on Peten by foot. The serve a good breakfast and everything is very clean. The rooms are nice and big and you feel at home. We recommend to stay at the Hotel because its nice, clean and has a very nice view on the lake. Also the pool was clean and nice.
A beautiful place to relax, a green oasis at Laguna Petenchel, close to Flores but far away from any noise. The restaurant right at the laguna serves delicious food, the spacious rooms are clean and offer privacy in bungalows, woodpecker enjoy the fruits of the mango trees while we enjoyed the pool area.
We chose this hotel as we wanted to be close to the bus station for an early departure. It was much nicer than we thought it would be. We could walk to the island of Flores and everything else was close by. We didn’t have time to use the pool but it looked impressive. Breakfast was also ok.
This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The location is perfect for you to go outside and watch the beautiful sunset in Flores. They gave us a better room and we appreciated it a lot. The room has a TV with Netflix and YouTube, air conditioning and hot water. The bed is super comfortable.
kudos to the staff! They were nice to accommodate the pick-up at Flores late at night, the staff is amazing and friendly, the included breakfast was delicious, and we got the Luxury Village that includes a jacuzzi. it is a great location to enjoy Peten Itza lake
The hotel is located right in Flores Island, close to everything you need: Transportation, good Restaurants and stores. At the entrance looks like a normal cheap hotel, but when you go inside to the room, it is amazing and the views of the lake is incredible!!
honestly one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in, very pretty. private room was big with en-suite. comfy bed, hot shower with decent pressure and really strong wifi and AIRCON - 100% needed whilst in Flores.
the food was really good at the restaurant
A/C was the big plus. It was such a nice property! They have a free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. very nice location. There is a nice coffee shop next to the hotel. The roof top bar and the pool were providing excellent views.
Amazing staff !!!! Very helpful and friendly ! The best free breakfast l’ve had at a hostel. The location is great too! Very clean and well kept ! Would 100% go back again ! And also they have a very nice kitchen that the guest can use
I am so glad my child was not exposed in this hotel to the kind of party animal travelers that I witnessed in the more hip area of Flores! It was nice being able to control our own air conditioning. The owners are very nice.
The location was awesome, just a boat ride away from Flores and the hotel provides a boat service for free (4times a day). Very nice breakfast options. In general, a great experience.
best thing about this hostel was the people I met there ♥️. The location is perfect. Hostel is clean, comfortable beds, drinking water available and kitchen. Very simple but cute :)
Great location on Flores Island! On the quieter side of the Island, so very quiet and no traffic at night, We had a great view and private deck, would highly recommend the hotel!
