Clean room, had a TV, shower good. could pop across road for takeout or supermarket. Great for one night.
Situated in Belize City. Among the various facilities are an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. The air-conditioned rooms provide pool view and come with a desk and free WiFi.

The territory is beautifully landscaped, you can walk among mango trees and tropical flowers. The hotel is right at the cape with the extensive sea view, marvelous indeed!

We were surprised that the main part of the city was a bit 3rd-world -- but that was a lot of the charm of it. And all the people are NICE, and seem TOTALLY HAPPY, which makes it great to do things there! We didn't eat anywhere but our resort. If you buy any excursions, make SURE you know EXACTLY where you will meet and what time BEFORE you get into town! And definitely take a river cruise -- the BEST!

Belize city has a reputation that is not encouraging.
Belize city has a reputation that is not encouraging. Yet, I enjoy visiting the city as it has almost all that you can purchase in a North American City. There are areas that are considered "do not visit" zones but that is also characteristic of other cities. If you stay in the main part of the city you will be fine, but we should always be vigilant.

Belize is a good place. The people appear to be friendly.
Belize is a good place. The people appear to be friendly. Food is good.
It is a slow pact of life.
I do feel the government should actively start looking at how to support and protect the domestic animals such as the dogs and cats as there are many stray animals roaming around everywhere.
I also noticed dogs especially were tried up but in some cases I didn't see any drinking water basins supplied for them! As an animal lover I found this unacceptable.
There was a dog at Caye Caulker that was tried up with no food and water so I had to feed it. I went to inform the police and the police asked me- "What do I want him to do about it"?
I told him I wanted them to check it out as this is animal abuse as the dog was not being cared for. I told him I would check up at the police station later to find out what was done. He then said he would send a patrol out to investigate the situation.
When I got back the dog had been removed, I don't know what happened to the dog.
The man at the animal sanctuary said that lots of tourist come to tell him of these situation but he is full to capacity and unable to take any more animals. The government needs to do something as people can find this distressing and are hypersensitive these situation.

Not a bad place for a tropical capital, (not like San Jose,...
Not a bad place for a tropical capital, (not like San Jose, Costa Rica) but hot, hot, hot. Bad taxi problem, rediculous prices and decrepid cars. Museum ($7) open but all the Mayan artifacts in storage, perpetually apparently. Craft market near the harbour (outside the purpose built one for the cruise ships, now shut and depidated) worth a visit but only one or two stalls, none had sold anything in days we were told (highly believable with steep pricing necessary for elevated cost of living locally). Much poverty and relatively high crime rate, a cop on every corner very attentive to foreign visitors. 3 banks in main square close the ATMs regularly to avoid paying out.

Belize City is very commercial, industrial and rough around the edges at first glance but there are many things worth seeing in the area. Many of the residential neighborhoods are quaint and quiet. From Belize City, Altun Ha is just a short drive as well as The Baboon Sanctuary and the Belize Zoo. Smokeez Seaside Restaurant and Bar was our favorite spot, right on the water near the famous Belize Monument Sign”. If your up for really experiencing the culture of the country, you must spend a few days in Belize City.

Belize City itself is not much of an attraction.
Belize City itself is not much of an attraction. It is a good place to stay overnice before or after and international flight, prior to moving on to other places in the country. Taxis should be arranged by your hotel for airport pickups and departures. Waling around at night did not seem especially safe. We walked to dinner, before dark, and took taxis back to the hotel. Have your restaurant call the cab. No Uber
Everything at this location was fabulous! It was extremely clean, neat, and very nicely decorated. Our hostess, Angie, was outstanding! She was kind, thoughtful, and extremely helpful in every situation, where we needed help! She recommended restaurants, made sure our shuttle to Placencia was on time, and just lovely to visit with. The apartment had everything we needed, and more. It was so comfortable, warm, inviting, and we will stay there every time we are in Belize City! I cannot recommend this property, and Angie, enough!
Really nice hotel but bad service in the restaurant and shuttle bus in particular.
+ The hotel has a beautiful and well maintained garden with the pool and the seating areas.
+ The rooms are comfortable and the cleaning ladies do an amazing job. Very happy about that and certainly above Belize usual standard.
+ The gym is a gem - well equipped, with good airco, with clean towels for both training and showers, large windows with tinted glass - brilliant!
+The restaurant menu is fine and the quality of the food was ok.
If you want to explore the real local life of the city, this is the place to be in the southern part of Belize City. From here you can easily walk to the stores and small restaurants around. Nevertheless, you can easily walk across the bridge to the more touristy northern part. The entire house has been personally renovated and lovingly decorated by the owners, you will not missing anything. They are very friendly and helpful and try to make your stay a great experience.
The property was located on an island which was super exciting for the kids to cross on the boat to get to and from the hotel. The rooms were individual rooms on stilts with an enclosed balcony with mosquito nets and hammocks. The location was fantastic, the rooms were very spacious, even for a family of 5, and there was a kitchenette too. The staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating!
The owners are from Idaho and are amazing! So fun to talk to and even let you rent one of their vehicles! The pool was brand new and incredible! You also can have as much privacy as you desire. The 2 bedroom bungalow was smaller but very comfortable. We will definitely go back if ever visit Belize City again! The owners actually pick you up from the airport which is only about 10 min away!
Great proximity to the airport, which is why we originally chose the Seaside Chateau. The premises were awesome - the infinity pool was beautiful and we were close to the water (river and ocean!). The AC worked great and the shower was awesome. We were able to easily arrange rides from transport ferry to hotel to airport, and our drivers were knowledgeable and kind.
We only spent a night at Villa Boscardi before our early flight back home. Francoise was great, even had a to go breakfast for us at 6am. we’ll definitely stay here when we come back to Belize city. The space is spotless and the bed extremely comfortable. Wouldn’t change a thing!
OMG, the beds were amazingly comfortable. Nothing compares to a good night's sleep when you are away from home and the Best Western Hotels across the world have the most comfortable beds on the planet. Great staff and customer service are just the icings on the cake.
The apt is in a safer area of Belize City, and a few restaurants/bars in walking distance. check in was easy. The owner Angie is very nice and gave me many useful information. My apt was specious and clean. There were coffee maker, mugs, refrigerator and microwave.
-very convenient location next to the ferry terminal for a 1 night stay
-great pool
-the surrounding area was not safe at night, but felt safe within the gated hotel.
-vege/vegan friendly restaurant
- room and bed were clean and comfortable
-friendly staff
The location is great - it is very close to many of the things to do in Belize City - walking around the Fort George area, the old Anglican Church (15 min), the Museum of Belize (10 min) and only 5 minutes from the ocean ferries.
The cabins were really cute and nice ... Resort was super relaxed. Stay out of Belize City and stay here instead, it's a little outside of town but all our tours picked us up at the front gate anyway.. would def recommend
Cozy little place if you’d like to stay around the city center of Belize City! Angie was very kind and also provided me with information about the neighbourhood, supermarkets & restaurants. Definitely recommend it.
Clean and close to city and airport. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Has a rooftop restaurant and bar that overlooks the bay and Belize city. Staff are very nice, helpful and ready to accommodate.
this was my second time staying there , I don't have much issues. It is not luxury but it is really doable for a night or 2 stay. Location is great as well.
The best part of the hotel was the hotel staff that registered us. Plz consider staying somewhere else, it NOT worth the headache of being disappointed.
