Aldo was a great host, it was really a pleasure spending time with him and Costa Nube is really the perfect choice to stay in Caye Caulker.
The apartment was really clean, comfortable and just perfect for a chilling stay.
At just 5 minutes by bike from the centre, the apartments are in a real oasis surrounded by nature. And every evening you can see a wonderful sunset from the terrace sitting on the comfy sofas or on the hammock. You have also at your disposal yoga mat and whatever you need to do snorkelling. The bikes are available for all your stay and it has been really an unforgettable adventure visiting the island on our bikes. Aldo suggests also the best restaurants on the island and the best tour operators for the excursions. Thanks Aldo for everything and we really hope to see you in Milan one day in the future!

Caye Caulker is very welcoming and relaxing. The people are friendly and the food is very tasty. I ate the coconut curried shrimp dinner with rice n peas and barbecue chicken at Chef Kareem. Walking distance to the water is one of my favorite part of being in Caye Caulker. Anything you need is steps away and you can walk without the need of a golf cart anywhere. I didn’t get to go to the other side of the split because I didn’t have enough time, but I will definitely visit again.

We just returned from the most incredible vacation on a picturesque little island paradise. From start to finish, it exceeded all expectations thanks in large part due to its friendly inhabitants who made certain that every moment counted.

Caye Caulker is great.
Caye Caulker is great. Everyone we ran into was super friendly. I would not go there just for the beaches. There are only a few that are what one typically thinks of when they think of Caribbean beaches. The snorkeling was 100% worth the trip out there alone. The food we had was great -- ask your lodging, they can steer you to the right places (I would recommend Reina's, Errolyn's, Maggie's Sunset Grill, Ice and Beans). The owner of Ice and Beans remembers your order and name on the second day you stop by and is sooo nice. I would also recommend that you do not miss rooftop yoga at Namaste Cafe!. The Split can feel a little Cancun Spring Break 1990ish. But its easy to avoid. We rented bicycles at our cabanas and that made getting around the island so much easier! Highly recommend- fun and easier than a golf cart because the roads are a little bumpy.

One of the smaller Belizean island, CC has its own charm and its own pace -- go slow but keep moving is the motto. Food is excellent, dive opportunities everywhere, terrific snorkeling. Ah, but the Sand Flies!! Ouch! Make sure you have plenty of reef safe insect repellent and stay off the sand in the early morning and late afternoon when they come to feast on your legs and ankles. And remove your shoes before going back inside so you don't bring the little critters with you. I was pretty okay, but my manpanion looked like he had chicken pox and he was pretty miserable. Take care....but go slow!
Best lobster is to be found at Pelican Sunset on the west side of the island. Make a reservation in person around noon if you want a sunset table. Dinner is served all day, but you might want to avoid happy house as it's crazy crowded. The Art Cafe is great for brekkie and has a lot of vegan options as well as salads.Eat meat pies when you can find them. Use Marie's hot sauce, a locally produced product! Go to The Split and eat crab claws, lobster kabobs, and BBQ corn at Esther's roadside stand. Drink local beer. Also local rum is darned tasty.

Caye Caulker does not have a beachfront, there is a barrier wall around all the areas. The water is beautiful and we went to Iguana Reef Inn to enjoy a little beach. The roads here are not paved, they are sand or clay and there are a lot of potholes. Your shoes and feet will not stay clean. The major mode of transportation is bicycle or golf cart. The island was not what I expected, we started our vacation in Hopkins which we loved. Check out Coconut Row if you want fabulous service, lazing by a glorious pool and enjoying beach front. The food on Caye Caulker was good but repetitive, most places serve the same stuff. We ended up going to San Pedro one day and renting a golf cart out to Secret Beach, that was really nice. The beach is free and there are restaurants and bars that come to your seats to take your orders and serve you drinks and food. We snorkeled with Nauti Time which is right next to the water taxi. It was a great experience and we had a good time.

It is a beautiful island, less crowded than San Pedro.
It is a beautiful island, less crowded than San Pedro. There are a lot of activities to do. There are a lot of travelling companies, so prices are competitive. People are very nice, and the island is safe in the tourist area. Food is also very good and fresh. You need to be careful with the water taxis because they leave on time, so do not be late. They leave the island very early, so you can catch a lot of tours in Belize city. The only bad part is that the last water taxi to the island leaves at 5:30 pm. You can rent a golf cart to move around the island or rent a bike. There is also a small airport where you can take a tour to see the Great Blue hole.
It is a wonderful, safe, quiet, comfortable place close to everything you need in Caye Caulker. They have a communal kitchen with a large refrigerator and drinking water, free kayaks and bikes (helped exploring the island that was a joy). The owners dispensed a good advice on local tours, restaurants and location of the largest crocodile on the North side: I follwed and got good tours, memorable culinary experience with local seafood, and, of course, took nice pictures of the crocodile. Strongly recommended.
The hotel was beautifully renovated and we had an amazing view of the water. We enjoyed sitting out on the private deck to watch the sunrise in the morning and the room itself was very comfortable. Our hosts Giambattista and Valentina were so hospitable and kind. They greeted us with a Sicilian appetizer and homemade bread, such a thoughtful touch. You can tell they take great pride in their property and genuinely care about their guest's experience on Caye Caulker.
*loved it
*felt more like staying with family than at someone’s hotel
*host and staff are great and very personable
* quiet area. Glad we stayed on the north island. The south part is more for partying
* Great that we had a room with a full kitchen so we had most of our meals there. (would suggest buying food in Belize city before taking the ferry over if possible for more selection and better prices; there are several grocery stores though on the island though)
We liked the beautiful location as it was relatively remote, had gorgeous panaramas and little road traffic. The roads south of the airport are worse than those in town and getting a taxi can be difficult. The Blue Room was large and adequately furnished. Abel, the host, was very helpful and engaging. The room came with bicycles that made it easy to get around the Caye. It is unique on Caye Caulker.
Very helpful staff (Stephanie was our point of contact). Daily breakfast was tasty, with a main offering or a few other options. The beds are comfortable and the room provided everything we needed for our short stay. There are plenty of bikes available to get around and there is a private hotel dock to enjoy the sunset on. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying on Caye Caulker!
The hostel is amazing, a very beautiful property just on the main street with a bar on the beach. The rooms are big, beds are comfortable and everything is clean. The staff is sooo nice. The best part is you can use kayak for free at anytime, so wonderful sunset and trip to secret beach and crocodile lagoon are included in the experience. Real nice vibes here!
Had a great time at Barefoot on Caye Caulker for multiple nights. Staff were great, hotel was very clean and pool was beautiful. I'd say nicest hotel on this side of Caye Caulker island (the good busy side). Was right beside the Split basically and only a 5 min walk from the ferry! Thanks Barefoot.
We liked our stay at the beach hotel, the location was convenient, close to all the restaurants and the ferry terminal. The bed was comfy and the shower hot with a good water pressure. It had a lovely rooftop terrace with hammocks from where you could see both east and west coast.
Accommodation is located at the end of the island in a secluded area that exchanges the busy town center for peace and calmness. It even has it own beach and pier for you to relax.
If your are not used to 5star hotels, the cabanas will do perfectly fine and are well equipped.
Loved our stay at Jaguar Morning Star. The hosts are fantastic and very quick to respond to any questions. Our studio/cabana was very well equipped and we really appreciated access to free bicycles, which made getting around Caye Caulker a breeze.
this resort is adorable and the best on Caye Caulker. Clean, very comfy and has everything you need. the beach is a minute away and the town centre is 10 minutes walk. the staff were fantastic and we would go back to weezie's when we can
I like everything about the hotel we came on my birthday week May 9th.
People were kind, our room was clean, the only thing was our balcony glass was a little dusty. We had a beautiful time in belize always!!!
Cute, colorful - great location in the action of Caye Caulker! Great sized room (esp for just me!!), kitchen, bathroom and shower all very close. Would definitely stay here again!
