Breakfast was basic but fresh and plentiful, and it's buffet style so you can eat to your level of contentment.
The hotel is situated north east of the Duomo and I think the proximity to the Duomo is the reason for the room price. The staff are very cheery and pleasant but there was no option to buy a coffee or tea after 10.30 am when breakfast finished being served, which was a disappointment as there was no kettle provided in the room. The room itself was clean but narrow and over furnished which made a wall mirror redundant and drawers inaccessible. Overall, the accommodation is dated but clean and comfortable for a short stay (the beds are very comfy) or if you're planning on treating it simply as a base whilst you explore the amazing city.
Fabulous rooftop views of the surrounding area and on a frequent bus route to the Central railway station.

The view from the room and near the elevators. The had parking space for car, that was nice, though it is not free. Big TV. Delicious breakfast. Air conditioning. Bathroom was neat. They had good and clear cleaning policy, where you could opt out of cleaning for that time and praised for saving environment, because of the chemicals that are used in washing/cleaning every day.

The Cathedral Santa Maria de Fiore left me speecheless, also I recommend buying the bruneleschi pass, with it you can visit the baptistery, the campanile and the amazing dome, and once you get up, the best 360 views of this amazing city will be waiting.
It is very easy move around by bus, using google maps, and you can pay the ticket with your own bank credit or debit card, I did it with google pay and it worked perfectly.

Florence was great because it is a smaller town so much...
Florence was great because it is a smaller town so much easier to see all of it just by walking. There are plenty of museums and churches to visit and lots of options for food and drink.
You must try the Steak Florentine! It was huge and filled the two of us with some to spare. Many of the restaurants only had bottled wine but one place we went had house wine by the pitcher which was amazing.
We only had one full day to tour, but we could have stayed at least one more day just exploring Florence and many more if we used Florence as a base to explore the Tuscany region.

We didn't plan ahead sufficiently and all the "touristy"...
We didn't plan ahead sufficiently and all the "touristy" things were sold out by the time we got there, so we were unable to see things like David or Uffizi. We found other things to do and see which were very nice, but it was much too crowded for our liking. I would prefer to come at a less touristy time, but I'm not sure when that would be!

Of course the beauty is off the charts... so much to see...
Of course the beauty is off the charts... so much to see... so little time. Now the crazy part is the taxi system. Lots of people needing a taxi but not enough to go around. Thus you have to request one. They suggest their app which is not user friendly. You can call but that is interesting as one will tell you one thing and the next will tell you something else. But with the help of our host and some kind people we got where we needed to go.

Our third visit - always breathtakingly beautiful history and art
Fabulous food great wine lovely people
But - it is busy - lots of tourists wanting to see all the same wonderful things Florence has to offer and it is expensive to ‘skip the line’ and too time consuming not to ‘skip the line’
Roomy apartment, has everything you need and a great location near all the main tourist attractions and museums. I have never had a bigger room in Italy, which is a luxury, believe me. I really enjoyed that a lot. The staff was very helpful and flexible, allowing us to stay a bit after the official checkout in order to accommodate our schedule. All in all a hreat accommodation in the ideal center of Florence. No regrets, would re-book if in Florence again.
We arrived early as we were travelling around Italy from Florence. Our room wasn’t ready as there was a problem with the air conditioning. The receptionist put our bags into the luggage store so we could go and venture out. Such great customer service. Our room was also the nicest room (except the honeymoon suite on my wedding) I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. I do think we were upgraded and if so I cannot thank the hotel enough.
The staff, the breakfast, the location, the room...everything was perfect! Best cappuccino that we had during our week in Italy and the best breakfast too! 10/10 all around! Easy 10 minute walk to cross the Arno; a bus stop just across the street; grab a pizza across the street; grab a casual lunch or dinner down the street at Pitti Express for a reasonably priced meal. I hope to find myself in Florence and in Casa Botticelli again.
I LOVED the communication with the hotel management. The location was top tier as well! Valet is available and hotel management will contact valet for you. We stayed at this hotel twice because of the hospitality of the hotel. We loved the room and the bathroom was a lot bigger than hotels you stay at in Italy. The jacuzzi tub was the cherry on top after exploring the beautiful city of Florence!
One of our best stay in Italy. The hotel is just about 300m away from Santa Novella Maria train station and it was very convenient for us to move around from Florence to other nearby towns. It was also in a very central location which was close to Duomo. The breakfast spread was great. There is a small terrace at the top floor where we can experience the city view. Amazing!
We were pleasantly suprised, our room was really large and decorated tastefully. Very comfortable bed with lovely bed linen. Bathroom is huge and modern with lovely bath products provided. Plenty of space to store luggage, has separate dressing area behind bed. Best hotel room we had in Italy. The staff were very kind and welcoming aswell.
First of all the stuff was more than excellent especially one guy, always there to help us and to give us advice for our Italy tour. The room was amazing and every day we had new fresh clean towels, slippers and a clean room. There was parking and if it was full they had second option for you. Overall I suggest this hotel 100%!
This hotel.had an excellent location. Perfect for shopping. Central to all attractions and restaurants. Great breakfast. ours was not included, by choice and we still used the service. In need of some up dating...although not untipicle for Italy unless you want to pay much more. All in all. a great value.
Hotel is beautiful and the oldest hotel in Italy. stunning junior suite and proposed to my girlfriend there. staff are exceptional you feel like the most important person there. location is perfect to see Florence and the restaurants are all in close range. thank you so much for a perfect stay. ❤️🖤
The best hotel staff in the world, stunning pool area which is never crowded and the food is wonderful. The hotel itself is elegant just like the beautiful surroundings and city. One of the best stays in Italy in 20 years of visiting. The hotel has its own olive oil which is wow.
Great hotel in a fabulous location! The staff was so nice and accommodating..Breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of choices. The outdoor garden was beautiful 😍 Our room was AMAZING! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Florence Italy 🇮🇹
Silvia’s place was beautiful. Exactly as described in the pictures, phenomenal location right in the heart of Florence. She even was so kind to leave us a bottle of wine & Oreos. It was the best B&B we stayed in during our 2 week trip to Italy. Highly recommend!!
centrally located in town, a close walk to all the sights of Florence whole also being walking distance from the train station. Beautiful roof top view at night that over looks the whole town. Best breakfast of all hotels I’ve stayed at in Italy.
Welcoming from the moment we entered the hotel. Lemon water. Kind staff. Informative. Beautiful room. Fruit and water. Most comfortable bed we’ve had in Italy. Quiet and well appointed. Delicious breakfast. Generous checkout time.
The best hotel that I stay in Italy! Location is perfect, room is super clean and friendly staff. I wish I will stay in Canto degli Aranci again in my next Florence visit. This place makes my travel very well. Highly recommended!
This was the best place we stayed in Italy. Comfortable like home combined with old school hotel. Staff were nice, rooms clean and comfy and very close to attractions. I would stay here again without hesitation.
Everything! Location, facility, comfort and cleanliness. Nicola at the reception is a great asset to this hotel. He went out of his way to make sure we enjoy our trip in Italy (not only in Florence)
I was traveling by car and I chose this place for the parking place (which was good, and apparently a rare thing in Florence or Italy in general), and location (15 minutes walk to the city center).
The room was generally clean, the hotel is very close to a tram station and you can reach easily the city center. Also they have free parking, something that is very rare in Italy
Great location updated space but what stood out was Carmine the manager who went above and beyond to make our stay not only in Florence but also in Italy memorable.
