Staff were very helpful when asked questions. Can’t comment on breakfast as we left early did use the airport shuttle on the way out…on the way in we were late for the shuttle and securing a taxi was a problem due to regional taxi areas.
Was nice to walk the promenade and look at the ocean

If you come from the downtown area to catch a flight the next day, you need to know it is really very far away. We first took a bus and sat on it for a long time. The bus didn't stop at the hotel, so we walked almost one hour with our suitcases. If you take a taxi from downtown it would cost you a fortune! This hotel is too far away from downtown.

The reviews I read before booking this were a lie.
The reviews I read before booking this were a lie. This property in no way was a 10. The towels were thin and needed to be replaced. No paper towels of dish towels. We ran out of toilet paper only one roll was provided. The sheets need to be replaced very faded, old and thin. The chairs around the table sunk in, not comfortable at all. Our car got broken into 15 mins after arrival. Met owner out front for keys went back to the car. The window had been smashed on car and everything was stolen! Our suitcases and passports. We lost everything but the clothes on our back!!!! Not a safe area!

Ostia is not Portofino, it's a suburb of Rome that just happens to have a beach! The streets are dirty and overgrown with weeds and walking around is not a pleasure. However, if you have to go there the best cornetti can be found at UBK in Piazza della Stazione Vecchia, the best pizza at Romolo's just around the corner and the best spaghetti alle vongole at Tra il Grano e il Mare just off Via Pietro Rosa. Happy holidays!
One of the better B&Bs I’ve stayed at. The caretakers are generous, attentive, and professional people. They even made me a pizza and did my laundry free of charge. Thank you Mrs. Olga.
The Wi-Fi was quite good and the room had everything one could want for a relaxed stay. The bathroom was nice too. The rooms are in a quiet flat, not loud in the evenings. Located right by Lido Centro so you have access to Rome easily. Ten minute walk from the beach. Restaurants all around open into the night.
We booked a Double Room with Balcony and Sea View. Room information is correct but pictures unfortunately not. The hotel is close to the beach and 5 minutes walk from Stella Polare station to Rome, the ticket is 1.60 € one way. It is about a 30-minute train ride to Rome. The man who works at breakfast is kind and professional.
Free water and a small bottle of wine is a nice sign of attention.Free parking is in the yard. WiFi is good speed. The balcony is very small but has a sea view.
I can’t fault this hotel in any way. The room was spacious, very comfortable and had all the required necessities. Bathroom was cleaned spotless every day. The bed was super comfy. A beautiful beach across the road. Shops, cafes, bars and restaurants all within walking distance from the hotel. There was a lovely fresh selection available every morning for breakfast. And the staff were so kind and so helpful. We couldn’t thank them enough for all they did for us.
Loved our stay at Appartamento Lungomare Toscanelli. Cinzia was a fantastic host, most kind and great communication ahead of our arrival. The apartment was charming, comfortable and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The large balcony a beautiful spot for breakfast and evening relaxation. Location was great - allowed us to combine relaxing days on the beach with trips into Rome and Ostia Antica. Thanks for a lovely holiday!
The hosts were very kind and helpful. They agreed for us to have a late arrival and even waited for a few extra hours, as our flight was delayed. They even provided a nice breakfast and coffee even if was not included in the advert. The apartment itself is nice and spacious, fully equipped, situated close to the beach and restaurants. The Lido Centro trains station is 10 min away and from there you get to the center of Rome in 30 min.
The location of hotel on the coastal promenade (Lungomare), so close to the sea and the beach, large balcony overlooking the sea, friendly staff, tasty and rich breakfast and welcome drink. I visited the hotel during the winter but I can imagine spending a summer stay there. The hotel has interesting retro furnishings and decorations with the theme of several cities and resorts throughout Italy. Good price for the accommodation.
Good location on the waterfront, though a bit far from everything (€35 for transfer from Fiumicino) but good for a relaxing break. Nice view of the sea from my room. Room was spacious and seemed recently renovated. Bath tub. Tourist port across the road with eating options. Stop for local bus nearby to get bus to the Lido Station for trains to Ostia Antica and Rome.
It's right in front of the pier, which is one of the few areas where you can actually see the sea. There are a bunch of nice restaurants and shops nearby. The staff at the reception and breakfast area were all very pleasant to talk to. Good choices at breakfast.
It's a little far from the train station but it's a few bus stops from Ostia Antica.
Cozy small apartment with all you need for a short stay. We were there for karate competition and the location was perfect, close to the sports hall. The place is clean and walking distance to the train station and beach. Parking is available for free. It is not near the centre of Ostia Lido but very convenient if you are planning a trip to Rome.
The attentive and courteous staff catered to our every need, ensuring that our stay was as comfortable as possible. We were received with a warm welcome. The accpmodations were spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect (near the beach and plenty of street parking). We definitely recommend staying at this hotel. 5 stars!
It is located far from Rome, but very close to Fiumicino airport, close to the beach and the port, beautiful in the evening, close to the bus stop that takes you to Lido Centro where there is a metro. It is a very quiet place, I think it will be very good in the summer. The apartment is old but clean.
Alesandro the host was very helpful and responsive regarding everything. Location is great just like 2 min to the beach and about 2km from the centre. Transportation to Rome very convenient and train station is about 500m away. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Enough space for the family of 4.
Trilocale Lido di Roma is well located in Ostia.
nearby supermarkets, restaurants, bars, etc, and a short walk to the beach and Lido Central.
It is very clean, has a good Kitchen, and the two split air conditioners and comfortable beds provide for an enjoyable stay.
Thank you, Francesca.
I really enjoyed my stay here. It was walking location to the beach and the train station to head into Rome city. The owner was able to meet us to check in early in the morning since we had an overnight flight. He also arranged for an early morning taxi to get us to the airport.
This property is close to the beach and in what seemed to us to be a very safe neighborhood. As others have mentioned, the most convenient factor is being right by major public transportation lines, including the metro. The host is very kind and welcoming.
Extremely kind staff going out of their way to make us feel comfortable, even when we arrived early to check in. The room was lovely with a beautiful view of the beach and a great location to walk around the town. Would definitely stay again.
