Originally, the old villa was born as a country residence and produced wine made from the vineyards in San Lorenzo.

Beautiful hotel, five min drive from the beach. Everyone who worked there was super friendly and made a huge effort to make our stay as lovely as possible. The restaurant does delicious food. There are towns such as Noto, Avola and Marzamemi each a short drive from the hotel.
Located in Marzamemi, within 1.1 km of Spiaggia della Spinazza and 2 km of Spiaggia Reitani, Hotel Celeste provides accommodation with a bar and as well as free private parking for guests who drive.

Great place for the price. Family run and well taken care of.
New rooms are great but older ones need changing.
Pool is clean but got busy with lots of screaming kids.
Good breakfast

Christina welcomed us warmly. We had a lovely clean, big, and stylish room, with a big double bed and a single. Both were very comfortable. The large bathroom with walk-in shower was fabulous and beautifully done. We arrived on a cold and wet afternoon, having got quite chilly walking around both Noto and Marzamemi in the rain, so used the fan in the room on super setting which warmed us up nicely.
Breakfast the next morning was served on the terrace in full sunshine and was fresh and plentiful, with a good selection of sweet and savoury items.
Christina was lovely, friendly and gave us some great local tips and recommendations of coastal places to visit on the next leg of our trip. She was also patient and encouraging of my basic Italian. Her dogs were well trained, friendly and seem to enjoy welcoming guests too. This is a nice place to stay near the coast and Christina is a great host.

Marzamemi is a small but charming medieval town on the Ionian coast. It's a Unesco-listed town, and rightly so: 500-year-old houses flank a picturesque square full of life, delicious food and fine wine. The surrounding beaches attract both active swimmers and families with children to swim and relax. A beautiful pearl on the southern coast of Sicily - well worth a visit!

Having no knowledge of this place at all before arrival, initially it seemed a bit of a dump (we arrived from the north and couldn't find the way initially). Once we figured out you had to park in the residential area and walk to the village itself, we liked it a lot more! Many interesting shops (Campisi and Adelfio, for tuna, pistacchio, anchovy and tomato products) and lovely little restaurants and eating places near the fishing port. It was busy for a Saturday night in late October, but I dread to think how mobbed it gets in July - August, when I see the huge fields used for parking! I'd say avoid high season, apparently you can't get into restaurants and have to fight your way along the main street.

Marzamemi is a pretty little town, especially around the harbour and town square. It appears to hold several cultural events. A Book Festival was being held at the time of our visit, with specific activities for children. And, there were posters about a Film Festival that had been held in September. However a good understanding of Italian would be required to attend these events.
The bars and restaurants are mainly around the harbour and in the town square. They offered a variety of meals, mainly seafood as Marzamemi is/was a fishing village. The prices were all very similar, €15 - €20 for a main course, as was the quality.
The harbour offers the best photo opportunities especially at sunset.
Marzamemi is close to a coastal park area, you will need transport as I did not see any local buses, which gives you the opportunity to watch a variety of bird species including flamingos! There are ancient ruins and an abundance of wild plants. A fascinating area. As this area is very open I recommend you wear a hat. Also, there are a couple of shaded spots with cafe/bistro and seats.

A very busy seaside resort with all facilities necessary for a successful holiday, especially large number & range of restaurants. One problem was that due to our need to use the car to get to other end of resort we spent too much (usually €5 a time) on parking. Another blemish was that the one & only farmacia was closed when it should have been open. Limited grocery stores but some good supermarkets in nearby Pachino

Sadly we had much higher expectations of Marzamemi.
Sadly we had much higher expectations of Marzamemi. The town is an extremely busy tourist spot but because of this it really lacks any authentic feel and is defunct of true Sicilian culture. Disappointing visit.

This location is a must!
This location is a must! variety of shops, restaurants and café's is brilliant. Prices are very good and quality of food was exceptional.
Marzamemi is a vibrant town and wonderfully balmy nocturnal al fresco atmosphere that continues all through the month August. You can mingle open-air bars for 'aperitive hour' and can then choose from one of the excellent seafront fish restaurants. As night falls, the piazza is taken over by live bands and DJs who provide entertainment for anyone in a dancing mood...
I truly loved this town and will definitely return! Stayed at 'La casetta di Tina' that is within walking distance to the town centre!!!!
Wonderfully relaxing property restored immaculately by the family owners with exceptionally well maintained grounds and lovely pool area.
Perfectly situated for visiting the Baroque towns and cities and easy access to St Lorenzo Agua Beach.
The staff were genuinely attentive especially Ignato for his advice and local knowledge.
Great breakfast including a daily choice of homemade Sicilian pastries with special thanks to Alice.
Thank you to all the staff at Borgo. We hope to return.
Wonderful little hotel. Old world charm meets beach style modern renovation. The room was just so adorable, and the deck was a big bonus. I loved sitting out there. The hotel overall is nicely appointed, clean and bright. Staff was all top notch as well and the owner answered every question I had promptly. Also, only a one minute walk from the iconic piazza!
Great location! Extremely cozy, perfect for a couple or a family of four. Location is prime! It is less than a 10min walk from Centro Storico. Parking in Marzamemi can be challenging. However, the host graciously provided free parking during our entire stay that was located a block away. What is there not to like about this place!
Everything was great! The location is super center and it has everything you need from the kitchen you can cook, washing machine, big rooms, and comfy bed. The place is spotlessly clean as well. She welcomed us like a family and we had a great time in Marzamemi. I highly recommend this beautiful place!
Host was fantastic, very friendly and helpful
Apartment was very clean and nicely modern and spacious (included a private balcony and terrace)
Great location for access to both Marzamemi (good town for restaurants and bars) but also Lido di San Lorenzo (amazing beach)
The house is a short walk from the historic center of Marzamemi, and literally a few steps from the beach.
The best part about this accomodation, however, is clearly the host, Rosa, who was absolutely charming and helpful with everything.
Very comfortable apartment for a family stay. The place is new, well-equipped and very close to the Marzamemi beach street. The host was great as well - giving us advice for local attractions, places to eat and house amenities.
Lovely beach stay with aquatic themes throughout.
Sea view and terrace to die for. Was a 3 minute walk to all the amenities of Marzamemi and a 10 minute walk to the beach.
Luigi was incredibly hospitable and amicable.
The host stays above the apartment so she is easily accessible if you need anything. She brought us a taste of sicilian veggies. She was very kind and accommodating. The place was clean and had all the basics.
The location was amazing. The villa was beautiful. Very spacious plenty of room for 4 people. Beautiful out door space. Very helpful landlord. Near the beach. And a short walk from the town centre.
Kapuhala Sicily is really wonderful in every sense: location, houses, services and people. We staid there for two nights , but would like to stay for weeks and weeks - so we loved this place.
We had a great 2 night stay at this accomodation. Very modern room with nice balcony and good breakfast. Private parking and a 3 minute drive from Marzamemi centre or the beach.
Lovely bright spacious apartment. Great aircon. Friendly owner greeted us on arrival. Good location for exploring Marzamemi and surrounding hill towns and beaches.
Beautiful place. Amazing pool. Family run and very friendly. . Spotlessly clean. A few meters from the beach . Very comfortable beds! Gorgeous room. Loved it!
the position near the sea is great, but this is the grottier beach at Marzamemi. the apartment was typical of a beach appartment and reasonably equipped.
