    Mbombela is one of the most undervalued destinations in South Africa. Even if travelling for business, you should take time to relax and explore some of the thousands of places one can visit - all within a 50km radius from the city. From game drives, cave exploration, nature scenery, restaurants, historical places - some dating back more than a thousand years, geological formations, nature sports, hiking, horse riding, just name it and you can find it in this area. Just add a weekend to your business trip and you are set to do business and include some relaxation at the same time.

    We booked to stay in Nelspruit because our group boking at...

    We booked to stay in Nelspruit because our group boking at Sanbonani was only due to start in 3 days. We wanted to take FlySafair to Nelspruit as it was cheaper to do this and stay in Nelspruit for 3 days than it was to fly with the next cheapest airline and go straight to Sanbonani. FlySafAir only flies from Cape Town to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport twice a week, hence the decision to stay in Nelspruit.

    There is a lot of opportunities for going out , from clubbing, to game drives etc. A couple of lovely restaurants for going out. The place is usually very hot and humid, so gather anything you can to help you stay cool

    VIBRANT CITY.... BUT MY STAY AT NELSPRUIT MERCURE HOTEL WAS A DISAPPOINTMENT AND COMPLETE DISSASTER. NO PROPER WI - FI ,STREETS AROUND PREMISES NOISY EARLY MORNING TILL LATE AT NIGHT , DOORS SQUEECKING ,LOW OR NO WAYER PRESSURE AT TIMES ,FURNITURE OUTDATED ESPECIALLY THE TV AND AIRCON , NO PROPER MAINTENANCE AND THE PRICE PER ROOM PER NIGHT NOT WORTH IT - BETTER OPTIONS AVAILABLE AT A LOWER PRICE AND BETTER LOCATION.A STOVE IN THE ROOM BUT NO COOKING POTS AND PANS AND PROPER CUTLERY.PLENTY OF DEFECTS ALL AROUND.WILL DEFINITELY NOT EVEN CONSIDER TO STAY THERE EVER AGAIN.     Absolutely gorgeous, quaint and secure little place offering lots of kisses from Pablo and Luna. The view of the pool area from the day bed is to die for and the well maintained garden🤌🏾we definitely appreciated that space as we played games in the afternoon. It’s a very short drive out of town which is easy to locate. This place was good value for money.

    The staff was very friendly and welcoming. My disappointment was the company couldn't cater for guest who came for business, this hotel disperately needs to buy a generator as a backup plan for loadshedding, other properties like Town lodge, stayeasy, southern sun do cater for their guest. I hope you find this concerning message in order.

    I have been coming to Nelspruit on business for years, i was so impressed with the place, was blown away, the experience of being relatively close to town and enjoying the sounds of the cats at night. The staff were super friendly and so willing to go the extra mile. compliments to the chef the food was out of the top drawer.
