Both of the Ladies who welcomed us were extremely nice. They explained all amenities and what should be seen. In Bergerac. The room was renovated, nicely decorated, and very comfortable, especially the shower. Thank you for this wonderful stay in Bergerac.

Such a beautiful quaint town to visit with its architect and character, the river is stunning for a sunset and watch the swallows. I recommend a walk to the Lac De Pombonne to spot wildlife, watch the waterfalls and stop off at the cafe. Unfortunately the weekend we arrived was a local bank holiday so everything was closed, the tourist information was open one day as well as a couple bars but overall too quiet with no atmosphere. I would like to return when its busier. The tourist train and river boat tours looked popular on the day we arrived. Walk to Jean Jaures park to see the gardens, beautiful flowers, small play area and pond with fish, free toilets here too. We also took a train from Bergerac to Sarlat for a day costing about 20euro each return. Transport in and around Bergerac is very difficult and needs some attention before you go, the airport is very small and no one around to assist. Pre book bus 48 hours before or pre book a taxi as too many people waiting.

Nice old city but nothing to do shops closed Sundays and Mondays. No buses from or to the airport taxi service is next to none waited hours to get one even if you book in a advance they don't turn up. Not a relaxing experience wouldn't recommend. And it rained constantly.

The historic town of Bergerac is a great place to visit.
The historic town of Bergerac is a great place to visit. Lots of interesting architecture and local culture to explore. There is quite a big street market held once or twice a week. Plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes. A very welcoming tourist destination.

The town is beautiful.
The town is beautiful. There are many shops, and beautiful architecture everywhere you look. There are some of the finest restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. The people everywhere are very friendly and everyone seems happy. It was like walking around in a painting. It was unforgettable.

Beautiful town with lots of interesting buildings.
Beautiful town with lots of interesting buildings. Nice bars and restaurants. We found opening times of restaurants and shops unpredictable. Enough to do for a few days. Nice river trip and prebooked taxi from airport was convenient.

So many things to see and do in the area.
So many things to see and do in the area. Bordeaux and Burgundy get lots of press for their wines. The surrounding vineyards of the Bergerac region are superb and accessible. They wine you sample ranges from good to out of this world; the stories you hear at each vineyard are full of the passion the people convey about their work and the results.
In addition, the cultural sites were fun with many to choose from. Our only concern is that we traveled in early October. Some sites change or close at that time. Their websites weren't up to date so we showed up to several only to find them closed for the season.
Nick and Jenny were super hosts. The accommodation is superb, the room tastefully furnished and bed super comfortable. The bathroom was fabulous and the shower was the best we had in our 11 previous days touring France.
The breakfast was plentiful, with lots of freshly prepared fruit, crossiants, cheese, meats and a huge pot of fresh coffee each.
Would definitely recommend staying as only a short walk along the banks of the Dordogne to the old town of Bergarac but in a quiet location with parking directly outside.
Lovely bright and airy room in the loft space of a stunning property. Fantastic grounds and pool. The couple who run the property are friendly and happy to help in any way. The breakfasts and evening meal Laurent prepared for us were excellent and well worth the €28 per person to eat there at least one evening. The location is great, just a 10 minute drive from the center of Bergerac, I would recommend hiring a car if you're staying here, the property is surrounded by vineyards and close to a swimming lake.
The hosts are excellent (so friendly and helpful) and the property is incredibly beautiful. So much thought has gone into the interior deco and the pool and garden area. The honesty bar is a wonderful additional feature. Breakfast in the dining room and the terrace are equally lovely experiences. The location is very close to the centre, so convenient for exploring beautiful old town Bergerac.
The place was perfect - clean, bright, comfortable with really nice furnishings and decorations. The location was great - right in the center of Bergerac. The owner was responsive, courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here. Bergerac is a beautiful place itself. And it was a great base from which to explore the beautiful Dordogne region.
Gorgeous apartment in centre of Bergerac only one street away from the old town. Beautifully refurbished and extremely well equipped. Lovely kitchen, and also a little outside terrace. Parking in private garage in neighbouring street for a smaller car. Plenty of places to eat or buy food from in nearby streets as well as in the old town.
This apartment was on the top floor of a historic building in the old town of Bergerac. It was well equipped, comfortable and oozed character.
Looking out over the rooftops of the beautiful city, it was perfectly positioned to enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes. I got all the information I needed and help when required.
every bit as good as it looks on the photos. Absolutely beautiful apartment. Tastefully furnished with everything you need. Everything seemed to be brand new. Perfect location too for Bergerac old town. Private underground car park about 30 metres away which is accessed by the remote key at the property.
The host is friendly and helpful. I like the studio, you can cook yourself, walking distance to a supermarket. easy walking distance to town centre,(around 10mins) it's a small town anyway. parking space outside if you drive a car. quiet in the evening. suitable for sole traveler or couples
Excellent location. Very secure and beautifully furnished.
Our host was very attentive, answered questions quickly and collected us and dropped us back at the airport. Informative about the area and things to do. The apartment seemed well equipped though we didn't need to use anything.
The owners, Herick and Mina, we're most welcoming and helpful from out arrival until departure.
The apartment was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed.
The apartments window view overlooking the river Dordogne, in the centre of the old Bergerac town was wonderful.
The apartment was so well equipped In terms of kitchen appliances and utensils. Probably one of the best we have ever stayed at. We appreciated the coffee. The bathroom was marvelous and having a washing machine was most helpful. It was in an excellent location.
Nice location. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Coffee and tea in the room. Clean property. Well centered in the city of Bergerac. Everything you need for stay is near by. Plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. River in the walking distance.
Located near the train station and 10 minute walk from old town do Bergerac. The room was a bit smelly when we walked in but this soon went. The owner and his wife were very charming and couldn’t do enough for you.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is close to the old town and also the train station for further away explorations.
Breakfast was good, and was the standard continental; croissants etc.
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown bergerac
Quaint property in middle of old town. Everything very close to hand. Really relaxed but great hosts - a real find and much more cosy and intimate than one of the bigger bed and breakfast.
