The breakfast was great, though regrettably not included in the room rate. Nice swimming pool. Room was comfortable and clean.
Neidin is the Irish word for Kenmare and translates to Little Nest. A Little Nest is exactly what was envisaged in 1790 when The Lansdowne first opened its door.

From the moment we walked into the hotel we knew we were going to love it there. It oozes quality and charm. We were greeted with a big Irish welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Our room was gorgeous and the bed, huge and very comfortable. The food - both dinner and breakfast - was exceptional. Would highly recommend.

I traveled around Ireland for two weeks and stayed in several cities. Kenmare was one of my favorites for shopping, access to music, scenery and the BEST lodging and restaurant at Brooklane. Highly recommend both!

Kenmare is a charming, small Irish town. We loved walking through the streets with many shops, pubs and restaurants. Both Holy Cross and St. Patrick's churches are worth a visit.
Kenmare is a perfect base for driving the Ring of Kerry and visiting Killarney National Park.
We had a fabulous dinner at The Coachman's pub, sitting outside on a pleasant October evening but there are many other dining options too.

A lovely town which was close to our B&b.
A lovely town which was close to our B&b. Lovely pubs with live music each night and excellent food. Lots of cafes and some git shops too. Beautiful sites to explore in the area like Killarney great park and the gap of dunloe to name but a few. There are stunning mountain views , peninsulas and rivers . A wonderful visit.
The hotel is located right downtown which is why we selected it. I found it somewhat pricy but with the addition of parking and the location, it was worth it for us. The beds were very comfortable and the room very nice. The breakfast (additional charge) was excellent and the young gentleman who served us both mornings (I'm sorry we didn't get his name) was so nice and remembered what we had ordered the previous morning. They have a lovely lounge/bar area also. Overall, an excellent hotel.
The location could not have been better. Central to everything in the town. The accommodation looks brand new. The rooms are directly above the restaurant. The restaurant's food was on par with any fine dining establishment I've ever eaten at in Dublin. The owner / chef could not have been more helpful or nice. He referred us to another restaurant in town the night he was closed and his recommendation was top notch as well. This is the only place to stay and to eat in Kenmare.
Eileen is a wonderful hostess. Welcome is second to none..lovely tray of tea and biscuits on arrival. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Excellent WiFi.Beautiful garden to sit out in and a lovely comfortable lounge for guests as an alternative,Eileen has plenty of local knowledge of the area and facilities so she is very good to give pointers. The breakfast is 5 stars including fresh fruit salad and she even offered us a lift in her car to Kenmare Town for dinner.
We loved our stay at Grenane Heights! Sara and Helen were wonderful hosts! The views are absolutely worth the stay! Our room was very spacious and clean. We had everything we needed and Sara’s breakfast was so delicious. She even had gluten free bread! We slept great in our comfy bed and quiet room! Helen recommended a great restaurant for dinner, Davitt’s which was delicious! Hope to get back to Kenmare again and will definitely stay here! We all loved it!
The Park Hotel is a fantastic retreat for a short getaway with delicious food, a relaxing spa, piano lounge, golf, and beautiful walks around the grounds of this historic hotel.
A special mention for the staff who were courteous and friendly but never overwhelming. Free tea and carrot cake in the afternoon, exactly the tonic after a long walk.
We also had a free electric charge point at our disposal, so the little things really do help!
Excellent checkin experiance taken to the room and fesh cold water delievered immediatley. Breakfast was excellent and started early for the RIng Of Beara cyclists, gr8 loacation 3min walk to the town centre. Good size rooms with all the facilities and fresh tea or coffee delivered to room upon requesting from reception. Food in the hotel restaurant was excellent
Safe area provided for the bicycles.
Everything!!! Lucy is an excellent host. The whole experience she provided could not have been better. The rooms are comfortable and classy. The breakfasts were beyond delicious. Lucy was helpful as we planned our daily excursions. She had us in stitches with her stories. We loved staying in beautiful Kenmare and and at the Bridge Street Townhouse.
The B and B was very tastefully furnished with a large bedroom in a perfect location. We loved the small town of Kenmare. Breakfast choice was amazing, cooked to order and far exceeds bigger hotels. Lucy and her staff work very hard and we felt very comfortable and would not consider staying anywhere else should we re-visit Kenmare.
Ashfield is a wonderful B&B. Mary the host is very helpful, friendly and great local knowledge. The location is great, the room was beautiful, superbly maintained, the breakfast was incredible. Kenmare is wonderful town to visit and a great place to start the Ring of Kerry.
David’s Hospitality is one of a kind! I had such a great time staying at Sheehans Town Centre. The breakfast was great, the room was warm and cozy and Kenmare is a beautiful place to stay. Thank you David for taking such good care of me!
Maureen was so friendly our room was spotless, and our breakfast was wonderful. She even went out of her way to help us find a B&B for the next night since she was booked. Highly recommend!! Kenmare is a wonderful small town
This was a real find. We booked only 2 days in advance and our choices were limited. We wanted to be out of town. But also the price was half that of intown hotels. We'll stay there again next time, and longer.
The room had a great view of the river. It was a short distance drive from downtown Kenmare. We got there earlier than expected and were allowed to check in. The Hostess was very accommodating. Great Breakfast.
The staff were wonderful. Room was clean, spacious, and hotel accommodated us with our 3 twin bed request. We visited during off season so there weren’t many people there but it was a wonderful choice!
Wonderfully friendly and exceptionally helpful staff. Lovely old country house feel in a beautiful parkland like setting, yet centrally located in the town of Kenmare
Beautiful cabin with a amazing views of the Kerry countryside. Felt very remote yet was only a short 5 minute drive into Kenmare town, brilliant location.
