Besutiful city in South Island. A lot to see and do: museums, Larnach Castle, astonishing Botanic Garden. For those who have more time there are a lot of beautiful beaches and gardens who worth visiting.

I visited the Farmers Market which was fun.
I visited the Farmers Market which was fun. I also had a takeaway meal of blue cod, oysters and homemade chips from Best Cafe. The meal was amazing. I visited a part of the Botanic gardens which was lovely and watched a women’s rugby game at Opoho, just above the Gardens. We were treated to beautiful weather and a large flocks of wood pigeons!

We just stayed one night on our way to Stewart island as we have been here many times. We did a trip to Port Chalmers as we hadn’t been there. It a a cute town with a working port. Worth a look and a bit of a walk around.

Dunedin really has the most beautiful beaches. the hotel is beautiful and old, tall ceilings, and comfy bed, it was surprisingly warm considering it is an old building. I stayed in July, so middle of winter. The Shower had good pressure. and it was a really big apartment.
