The welcoming was friendly and special. Lionel welcomed us with a lovely sign and welcome drinks. The facilities are incredible. You don’t need anything at all because it’s all supplied. My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. The pool is lovely. The bed is extremely comfortable. We loved the little treats that we got every day when we came back from our time out exploring. The breakfast is amazing as well. A very special place and great for time out and to relax. Thank you Lionel and Rob for being amazing hosts. We loved our stay!!! And would highly highly recommend.

Great place to stay, very welcoming hosts. We were only in a small studio but it was spacious and beautifully decorated. Very comfy bed. Complimentary laundry facilities a welcome bonus at the end of our Northland adventures. Would definitely stay again.

As we were only there for one night it had everything we needed, but noticed that it advertised the cafe, but noticed that the cafe was closed and up for sale, although this was not a big deal as there were plenty of eateries close by.
Kerikeri was an easy place to get around.

It’s a wonderful art and food scene with hidden beaches and waterfalls all over the show. A great stop on your way through the north or as a base to travel from. It also has an airport for weekend getaways.

Rainbow Falls are worth a visit, especially on a longer river trail walk. The Stone Store is great but make sure you walk to the Pa Site to get a different perspective - about 250m to the right of the Stone Store and past the Plough and Feather. The pizzas at the bar behind the Plough and Feather are delicious! And the GF option was yum!

Has great venue for events and beautiful waterfalls and walks. The shops are varied, good quality, and many cafes to choose from with delicious food. We also really liked the Friday evening food fest at the Old Packhouse and the Saturday morning market there.
Being in the middle of a beautiful orange orchard and the pet Kuni kuni pigs and piglets, we enjoyed feeding and patting them. We were also visited by a friendly Labrador and some chickens.
Owner was kind enough to offer to pick us up late at night from the airport after our plane from Auckland being cancelled and having to travel 5 hours by bus. (we were unable to pick up our rental car till the following day)
Nice quiet surroundings close to the airport and a short drive (5min) to Kerikeri.
We will definitely come and stay again.
On arrival we immediately felt like we were friends of the hosts, as this accommodation shares the site with the stunning family home. The couple who run this are super friendly and welcoming and the accommodation itself looks out to tropical gardens. In fact the room is tropically themed so we felt like we had a tropical getaway. Far enough away from Kerikeri centre to feel relaxed but within a short drive to all amenities and restaurants. We loved staying here and will come back again!
We came up to Kerikeri from Hamilton to visit family and Stay Kerikeri was perfect for our needs. We had brought up my Mother-in-law as well so the 2 bedroom unit was great for us all. The place is modern with everything you need and the beds were super comfortable. Very friendly receptionist that made us feel welcome immediately.
Home from home! We also walked down to the Stone Store in the morning which was lovely. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend.
Wowzers! Avalon Resort in KeriKeri is an absolute sanctuary. The photographs don't do it justice. Hands down the best place to stay in Kerikeri. The photographs don't do it justice. As soon as you arrive you feel like you are in heaven. Grounds are stunning. The service was above and beyond. I travelled with my baby girl and the owner went above and beyond to make sure we had the most beautiful stay.
We had an absolutely incredible experience staying at Treghan luxury lodge. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The lodge itself was stunning, with luxurious amenities and immaculate attention to detail. Anna and Murray were amazing hosts. We can't recommend this lodge highly enough to anyone looking for a truly relaxing and indulgent getaway.
- The owner gave me a personalised tour of my apartment
- Stay Kerikeri is only a short walk to Kerikeri's CBD
- I was able to park right outside my apartment
- The apartment was comfortable and the decor was cool and quirky
- The artworks on the walls depicted local places and Kiwiana (the last Northland motel I stayed at had photos of Paris and Prague on the walls!!! Why???)
Te Whare Ma is close to the airport & while it is 9 mins out of town by car, the peace & quiet is well worth it. The accomodation itself is clean & high-end with extras like a pool, spa pool and outdoor dining areas. If you are looking to relax and get away from it all in sunny Kerikeri, you can get all that and more at Te Whare Ma. And the breakfast is to die for!
The owners were welcoming and friendly, having only recently taken over the business. It is situated close to Kerikeri, located in a wood with plenty of bird song. We stayed in the African safari tent which had a comfortable bed and was beautifully decorated. It had its own deck overlooking a pond, on which we sat to eat our supper and enjoy a couple of drinks.
Such a beautiful spot and a very lovely home with extremely comfortable beds in the main house. We enjoyed kayaking and exploring the gorgeous garden. Wonderful that we were able to take our dog, too. The hosts were very attentive and helpful. The house was well equipped and we wanted for nothing. It was also only a short drive to Kerikeri to get supplies.
Great location, walking distance from The Stone Store and Kemp House. Owners were friendly and welcoming and even gave us a glass of wine to enjoy on our patio overlooking the pool (of all the motels we have ever stayed we have never been offered a welcome drink before)! Comfortable, roomy kitchen, dining, living area.
I would have to say this would be one of the better places I've stayed in a while and would recommend to anyone staying. Well presented, value for money, clean quiet establishment. Has everything you need. If you going to stay in kerikeri this would be definitely a place to stay. Also take time to visit the markets.
The Apartment was a great place to stay overnight and we found contact with the Owners amazing! We would certainly consider staying here again if we were looking for accomodation in Kerikeri.
Quiet location, great garden with pool and spa, excellent breakfast, room with nice amenities, comfortable bed, Tania and Troy are very responsive hosts. We would love to come back.
this was the second time I have stayed at the property and enjoyed my visit once again
the owners are delightful and welcoming
great location to explore the area of Kerikeri
Great location in Kerikeri town near many stores and restaurants. The manager stayed later for our check-in and gave us a better room! Nice kitchenette and all very clean.
Ive stayed many times over the years and stay in the cheaper rooms but they have been done up since my last visit with nicer bed spreads so it was nice.
