Really great hotel, in a very handy location. Quirky but extremely well appointed and comfortable. Didnt get a chance to dine at the restaurant but it looked great also and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The biscuits to accompany a coffee were appreciated.

We loved the location of the Millimium being waterfront and...
We loved the location of the Millimium being waterfront and so handy to great cafes shops boutique breweries amd galleries which all we tried were found to be exceptional. Plus we loved the direct access to the board walk to the port past an impressive swimming pool complex then later walked along the pathway in the other direction the Fitzroy beach which had a cafe and outdoor setting on the beach. The whole city seemed safe and attractive and a great place to visit and probably a great place to live.Girvan - 10Scored 10

Good sized room and ensuite. All absolutely spotless and very comfortable. Useful facilities. Nicely positioned off the main road so nice and quiet but close enough to walk to shops and restaurants. At first wasn’t too sure about New Plymouth but the more we walked around the city the more we liked it. It’s a very tidy city with lots of amazing murals painted on buildings, tidy and clean with every shop you could think off. It is handy to the foreshore and a beautiful walkway and within a few hundred metres from beautiful Pukekura Park on other side of township, a must visit.

Pukekura park and bowl of Brooklins were outstanding Our prime aim was to visit family Flamingo motel we can highly recommend Walkway along the foreshore is a credit to the city Enjoyed the activities happening at the waitara river mouth Sea was magnificent Mountain made a stunning appearance too Cafe can Morley and devon gr8 coffee Locals on tukapa gr8 food and coffee

There was a small block of shops within a short waling distance but you would need a longer walk or take the car if you were looking for a supermarket. It was on a main road but it wasn't noisy. Beds were very comfortable and linen was clean. The room had a spa bath but the press switch for the bubbles did not work. The carpet was comfy underfoot, the bed and pillows were excellent, the mini fridge was larger than most hotels, and dressing gowns were provided. They provided an option for recycling in the room.
