Great central location, easy parking. Neat decor with all the art. It had everything I needed for my quick trip. Also joes garage below the hotel has takeaways/order online so as a solo traveller I didn’t have to walk the streets at night. The manager was relaxed and happy to answer any questions, really positive happy staff.

Really great hotel, in a very handy location. Quirky but extremely well appointed and comfortable. Didnt get a chance to dine at the restaurant but it looked great also and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The biscuits to accompany a coffee were appreciated.

We loved the location of the Millimium being waterfront and...
We loved the location of the Millimium being waterfront and so handy to great cafes shops boutique breweries amd galleries which all we tried were found to be exceptional. Plus we loved the direct access to the board walk to the port past an impressive swimming pool complex then later walked along the pathway in the other direction the Fitzroy beach which had a cafe and outdoor setting on the beach. The whole city seemed safe and attractive and a great place to visit and probably a great place to live.Girvan - 10Scored 10

Good sized room and ensuite. All absolutely spotless and very comfortable. Useful facilities. Nicely positioned off the main road so nice and quiet but close enough to walk to shops and restaurants. At first wasn’t too sure about New Plymouth but the more we walked around the city the more we liked it. It’s a very tidy city with lots of amazing murals painted on buildings, tidy and clean with every shop you could think off. It is handy to the foreshore and a beautiful walkway and within a few hundred metres from beautiful Pukekura Park on other side of township, a must visit.

Amazing shower, exceptionally clean room throughout. Beds and linen spotless. Hard working staff. Arrived around 6pm, reception staff busy helping the dinner service, quickly came and checked us in. Some hotels can have very fancy receptions but rooms are very tired. The rooms in the Millennium were great. Would definitely stay there again. The hotel restaurant Salt was excellent.

The host was absolutely lovely, had the fire going for us when we showed up.
