The room was absolutely prestine. The carpet passed the smell test😀. I often find that carpets are a big let down in many hotels, but I was very pressed. The room was fresh, it smelled of 'nothing', just the way I like it.

Hotel staff are really nice, restaurant to very good, hotel room clean and spacious. Its undergoing renovation which is good as it has huge potentional. I think the lobby and bar area would be cool in an industrial type decor.

Stayed in an upstairs room towards the back which was spacious, quiet. Rooms are not new but very well maintained, immaculately kept. Bed was great, very comfortable. Directly over the road from the hospital and an on-site cafe were great points.

It was very comfortable and we particularly liked the handrails in the shower and by the toilet area - realised later that that it was a disability unit but was extremely suitable for elderly people such as ourselves. Often shower and bath areas are very slippery but while we didn't have this problem it was nice to know handrails were there for support if needed. The beds were extremely comfortable and the heat pump certainly warmed the unit up. The unit was also extremely clean and there were plenty of towels.
