We enjoyed our stay, location was perfect. Close to everything shops and restaurants. We spent most of our time walking along the Wanaka lake and taking photos of the famous Wanaka Tree. Great view facing the lake and beautiful mountains.

Wanaka is the most beautiful place to visit The views of the lake and surrounding area are really stunning. It’s seemed a really peaceful place with just enough to do. A wholesome town just outside of Queenstown. I could've stayed here weeks. It was a great location to be based at for Roy's Peak Summit, more hiking and days spent by the lake. Wanaka itself is a lovely spot. It was lovely without being too much of a tourist trap. The art gallery I visited was very good, and the two local restaurants also good and reasonably priced. The staff at the Thai restaurant were especially friendly and helpful. I wish I had stayed long enough to drive out to a few places from Wanaka.AAnonymous

A really cozy apartment with a fireplace for cold times and an A/C to fight the intense heat of summer. Excellent kitchen with everything one may need. Super good and modern shower. Definitely the best hotel among all those that we stayed in during out trip on the South Island!

We also had access to the lakeside trail directly from the hotel for a walk around parts of the lake. The room was a good size but not huge. The on-site restaurant was very good and our waitress was phenomenal. Decent amount of parking as well, and a short walk into Wanaka itself.
