Quality Inn Colonial, hotel in Bendigo

Featuring an indoor pool, a hot tub and a cocktail bar, Quality Inn Colonial is just 5 minutes’ drive from Bendigo Stadium. A flat-screen TV with cable channels is standard in all rooms.

It was a basic motel room, close enough to Bendigo CBD if you have transport. It was good, but not a place I would choose for longer term stays. I only needed one night for a stopover and it was good for that. The staff were friendly and honest.

Excellent service. We were at Bendigo for the Red Hot Summer Tour. Melissa was great offering us a lift to the event and went out of her way to pick us back up. I loved Melissa, she was so down to earth. We also loved the cats, George was so sweet.

Exhibition at Art Gallery - Impressions of Life Paris 1880-1925 - excellent. Also impressed with visit to the Great Stupa near Eaglehawk. On previous visits we have enjoyed the tram trip and excellent tulip displays at tulip time. Bendigo is an all-round interesting city.

Bendigo is a large town and has many suburbs. Eaglehawk (where we stayed) is a smaller area within Bendigo. Not too much going on apart from having a couple of birds of prey in the name. Still pretty sweet.

Terrific autumn day in Bendigo - visited the art gallery and the Paris exhibition, which was great, then down to the woolen mills for some knitting supplies. Topped off by an exceptional meal at Mason's of Bendigo - the best meal on our three week holiday. We loved it.

We went to the Parisian Art Exhibition which was amazing.

We went to the Parisian Art Exhibition which was amazing. The restaurant also had a French menu which was very good. Lovely staff. The Chinese Dragon gardens & surrounding gardens were beautiful with all the fall leaves coming. We were there Monday & Tuesday so some of the restaurants we were thinking of going to were closed those days. The church was also closed those days. Bendigo is a very relaxed & beautiful historic town. We probably should have stayed another day to even see more of the nearby areas. We had breakfast at an amazing organic restaurant that also sells fruit & vegetables. You will find it in Lyttleton Terrace. Lovely young friendly staff & tasty healthy food.

Bendigo has a great art gallery and some fantastic heritage buildings and museums. There are also good food options such as The Dispensary (highly recommend). It is a good base camp for discovering the area to visit other heritage towns.

This cottage is an absolute gem. It is a beautifully renovated property and was a delight to stay in. Everything that you needed had been provided by the owner. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very quiet. The outside deck area was the perfect place for breakfast. Having Percy and Percy cafe across the road was fabulous and the Lake View Hotel around the corner on the main road was a bonus and we can also recommend the local pizza parlour. Walking into Bendigo CBD was a very easy walk.

Updated modern, clean and fresh rooms. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is there built in, without all those silly frilly little bits n pieces some other motels add to put the price! A good night's rest on a decent bed, a lovely kitchenette, functional new bathroom with a great rain shower, quiet & private, it's always been the best all round value in Bendigo.

We were a little bit hesitant after reading reviews, but our fears were allviated once we checked in . The hotel is centrally located , and the rooms were clean ,tidy n comfortable . Noise wasn't as bad as expected, very peaceful sleep considering the number of events going on within the hotel . Will definitely stay with Crown Motel Bendigo again

This Quest Accommodation is pretty close to everything. We walked to middle of town, hopped on the Tourist Tram that took us around Bendigo from The “Joss House” to “Deborah Gold Mine”. A fascinating place to visit with an informative Commentary on the City. The Lakeside Hotel on McCrae st was just up the road so an excellent place for our Dinner

Location is fantastic, right in the centre of Bendigo. The verandah on the Shamrock is a fantastic spot to sit and watch the world go by. The history of the hotel is fascinating as well. Also, credit must go to staff member Cody. He was very helpful with information on parking and fixing our room key issue.

The location was within easy walking distance from town centre, with little road noise. Handy to have a pub next door, great meals and friendly staff. Unable to rate hotel check in staff, but self check in worked well. House keeping staff pleasant. Would stay again if travelling to Bendigo.
